Judging from the prelim pics the sets look really awful, they look worse than anything from knight's kingdom to me. I hope a lot of changes will be made for the final versions, otherwise i can't see myself picking up those :(

I also believe that the late summer/autumn set informations actually not always come out until a few months into the year they're released.

The blacksmith building from MMV didn't have stairs either. They're not so important to me, since they would take away a lot of space also.

To me it looks like an medieval city gate.

I just recognized that the holes/pins on the side of the walls will actually fit excactly to the holes/pins on the side of the king's castle walls. Will be interesting to see how the 2 sets go together, probably one's able to easily build one huge castle out of the 2.

I'm also a bit disappointed now that i found out that the first pic actually shows 2 sets together. But as far as i understood it, there will be 9 minifigs in ONE set.

One thing that i don't quite understand is this: "Combine 2 Kingdoms Joust sets". Does that mean that the set is actually devided into 2 seperate sets, or that you can combine 2 sets to get a closed circle?

Arent the kingdoms sets supposed to come out later? I remember reading something about june.

I cannot wait to get these new sets so i thought checking out the instructions would help a bit to shorten the waiting time, but unfortunately they're still not up. What happened to the time when instructions were up already before the sets came out? I remember looking through instructions from all kinds of sets a year or 2 ago, weeks before they were released...

Actually i'm pretty sure these bottles are supposed to be what they are: bottles. At least that would make sense to me, since they're standing on a barrel. Thanks for the WIP review, looking forward to the rest! And btw. i think that table and the barrel is actually a quite good interior, it's still better than nothing at all (which i supposed was the case, when we saw the first pictures some months ago).

There are more pictures in grogall's brickshelf folders, if you click on the pictures. There's detailed pictures of every set, and actually we've seen very detailed high-res pictures from the toy fair a few weeks ago already.

Yes, the thing behind the window is just a trans-red gemstone. I remember seeing it in ftbt's (at least i think it was him) photos from the toy fair.

Thanks fpor the pictures! These are some uber fantastic sets It's a tragedy they were never released. It's very interesting to see that the idea of a bucket helmet came up so many years ago already, but only was released recently.

hat's funny, cause who would be able to tell how a "realistic" dragon would look like, when there actually are/were no dragons in reality? Anyhow, i doubt we will see any fantasy elments in the kingdoms theme. we had that in the fantasy era, now it's time for something different. I love fantasy stuff, but right now i think it's time for more civilian and reality based sets.

If that would be the case, the city theme would also have ended after the introduction of the farm subtheme. I don't think having civilian medieval sets now equals the end of the theme.

yeah, but the detail you forgot is that lego is still a toy and mainly built for children, not AFOL's.

who says the theme will end after this year? people are way too negative.

I don't really understand the hate against the prison set, such sets are nothing new. There always were castle sets that basically are just a wall, and no full building.

very nice! i wish the sets would come out abit earlier than summer, the anticipation is so high already does anyone think there might be a chance that they're coming out earlier, since we are already getting professional pictures? btw. i just noticed there is one of those new bottles in the carriage set
