  1. Actually tires IMHO look to be to small for dump bed...and (typical) LEGO tire limitations caused this problem
  2. Yes, it was perfect opportunity to introduce bigger tire with industrial pattern (not tractor tire) to fit 56 rim ...or to make like @jorgeopesiin his MOCs or like @agrof posted
  3. That is why I have decided to make classic hotrod...
  4. I think the whole design of fenders are influenced by Porsche lines (since the 2016 when first appear), but to make classic car with them you probably need lots of playing with additional slopes (or arches). So far I did not figure out how to do it.
  5. Chassis looks good. The only thing that I do not like are LEGO fenders with this "angled" ends not fitting particularly well on classic cars...
  6. @Arie the front defenetly, and the rear? It is question of scale; most tractors are 2550mm wide (exceptions are JCB Fastrac 4000 series with 710/60R30 tires and JCB Fastrac 8000 with 650/65R34 and 900/50R42 tires - they are 2750mm wide)
  7. I was hoping for that when in 2016 it was announced that LEGO and Claas made an agreement...yes we defenetly need 81.6 and 94.8 tractor tires, but we will see... BTW very nice MOC @Arie. Somehow it looks like tires are to wide for scale.
  8. I hope that you will have necessary parts in white, because if not instead of "It's Mars", there will be "Houston we have a problem (again)". Hope in few days you will finish it.
  9. It ended up very good representation of streamlined Tatra
  10. To have monochrome roadster you have to use all black pins Looks very modern
  11. With this engine it reminds me on old matchbox series from late 1960s. Very original
  12. Yes you are right; I totally forgot about new differential, despite that I was testing it in my Fastrac prototype
  13. In that case I'll keep my fingers crossed
  14. Only thing that crossed my mind is to use 4L differential and move inline 4 cylinder engine to one side (and use the same differential at the rear) and wheels look to me about to small...
  15. Anyway as I already posted every 2h set has it's own topic, so when something plausible pops up, we should post it there.
  16. With boxy design it could be replicated very well in LEGO.
  17. If you move steering gear (that is in contact with gear rack) do you get the same steering angle on both sides? If yes (and if it does not influence fake engine) you would not need those two gears with 8 tooth.
  18. You made great representation of AMG
  19. I forgot that gear housing from 42097 set would better fit since it is yellow. For hoses I really don't know. Sorry
  20. You know me I like classics, my newer car has to much plastic and thin metal for my taste ... and classics with hand made bodywork have a kind of soul IMHO... For upcoming weekend I'll make some sketches and when few parts arrive I'll widen this part.
  21. Looks very nice BTW Herder has 600/70R30 tires like Fastrac 4000
  22. Good morning Nick; my Fastrac 4000 series is 1:15 scale (original has 600/70 R 30 - 1600 mm overall diameter so 1600/107~~15). Xylon has smaller fronts the same percentage as Fastrac 8000 series.
