  1. From my experience it is acceptable for light and small manual models.
  2. The width is biggest enemy on my MOCs (and using to much parts - optimisation is my favorite but bitter work)
  3. Shapes are recognizable and I really hope to see them in right colors very soon. Since one my friend had Flavia, I'm interested in end result. The reason asking for front axle is that I struggle with width on one my earlier project - Unimog U423...and now I want to redesign it with new tires from batmobile (sorry for off topic) ... I have one solution with new differential from 42109 set and using universal joints directly with axle 2 on each side...I'll post images in axle collection tread when I buy another differential and test new axles + chassis. Kind regards
  4. @All_About_Lego can we see your front axle? Thanks
  5. Honestly I didn't have such problem; OK my situation was that on maximum turning tired touched part of chassis on my Fastrac, so I had to put something to reduce for one-two millimeters. So my idea is not guaranteed solution, more like friendly suggestion.
  6. Perhaps you can put kind of limiter or stoppers on wheel hub to prevent "overturning" Perhaps you can put kind of limiter or stoppers on wheel hub to prevent "overturning"
  7. Front part is very good now, but rear looks like after traffic accident
  8. About chassis - it is good IMHO, curves are a bit wired in cab, but "stairs" on front of rear wheel are unwelcome IMHO...
  9. That could help someone to make cool custom car or hotrod or muscle car Moc
  10. Actually it is 43.2 x 20 tire...resulting some 45-46mm diameter
  11. Thank you my friend. Hotrod with roof like to his one: I usually like streamliners from late 1930s, customs and truck rods, but few weeks before TC18 I saw one beautiful white convertible like the one I made (of course original is much much nicer than my). As older I become, the more I like those simpler vehicles (or is it due to constant brakedowns of modern cars). Regards ?
  12. I was just trying to implement your suggestion how to make half stud wider cab on each side. Thanks My goal was to make simple model; but in the meantime I have found out how to use 43.2 tire in truck rim to make classis Ford F-1 truck rod (in future)
  13. @ArtemyZotov perhaps this idea could use you one day, since I'm not sure if this mod is allowed (tire overall diameter is 45mm and I'll use it one day on my orange Truck rod project)
  14. 19. Big Block Hotrod This is my first attempt o make Hotrod in 1:15 scale, and it fits max 15 studs width... Features: Big V8 working fake engine Front wheel steering (HOG with black gear at the rear) Front live axle Rear live axle Rear wheel drive Suicide doors
  15. Finally model is finished, but let images speak instead of me.
  16. Boxy lines look to me to be very well replicated
  17. Yes, but after some time inner diameter will be some 5 mm bigger and it would never fit wheel racing small again; only mentioned 56mm wheel(s) and futuristic wheel
  18. Looks really good; I suppose V8 is on the way
  19. Boxer engine works like that With standard LEGO engine parts only flat engines are possible
  20. Honestly you captured lines relatively good, but rare parts in particular color cause problem. To be sarcastic I really like clock in background (if it only had Roman numbers)
  21. I suggest go for real one and you can use this wheels for headlights (dimensions fit the scale ) https://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-wheel-hub-11-2-x-8-with-centre-groove-42610
