    You can calculate (but you made proper calculation real drive wheel has 914mm diameter and turntable has 56mm. Just to point out this is a display model so my current project is wheeled tractor...

    Because if you do not use rubber pins from 42069 set you will have lots of slipping and those pins are expensive

    If you decide to make Quadtrac then you should use portal axle hub turned upside down because drive wheel (upper is driven and lower are idlers) is higher positioned than center of wheel in Steiger... Kind regards

    Years ago I made this one http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=365319 Despite it is full manual MOC (before PF) perhaps you can use some idea...my suggestion is to make wheeled version (Steiger) and not tracked (Quadtrac)... Looking forward...

    Hi Miha, I plan to make longer front part (the one with lights), but it wold go over front chassis part (where is vertical M-motor). From side I plan to use plates to cover battery box as much as I can; keep in mind that bonnet is thinner near the cab... To get this shape I had spent dozens of hours (luckily I have all those parts in different colors so this yellow did not become loose ). I really hope to finish bonnet in next 5 - 7 days and worm gear based front hitch... since few other projects are waiting...like smallest Unimog with new 68.7x27 tires (full manual version) or JCB loadall...or... ...one vehicle that uses both tracks and tractor tires...

    ...bonnet line finally suits scaled images of real tractor, but I need to adjust black and yellow color. Main goal was to make bonnet mostly with Technic parts as you can see ...

    As you can see I'm still struggling with front bonnet line; hope that yellow 1 x 13 curved panels from Volvo 42114 would help me make proper lines with (mostly) Technic parts... As you can see on images I have lots of yellow panels but so far I could make curved line as I wanted (slope plates look like roof; they give discontinued curve so I'm not pleased with that...) ...to be continued...

    Question is for how many years license contract was made But your suggestions are plausible; according the pattern so far in 2022 and 2024 Volvo set would not be a flagship...

    Or when they use giant brushes in desert Back to Volvo, I agree with you new motors are really too big (for my MOCs) so 99% that I'll quit Lego when i use all of motors I have in my MOCs (OK it is not going to happen tomorrow but could in 5-10 years) As already mentioned I like bonnet shape of Volvo but do not like "axle based" mini fake engine

    Perhaps you are right; it is complete turnover from some point of view...but if I could afford Lamborghini (Lego set of course) I would defensively try to make at least classic Miura

    @astyanax lime would be cool and as you mentioned lack of transparent pieces could cause a bit of headaches, but new curvy mudguards better fit Miura design than the one released with Porsche and there could be 8448 transmission rebuild with new pieces (but it sits transverse)...

    I use it stickers that are not to specific, like chevrons or manufacturer (Brand) name, but not for models because I usually build MOCs of real machines...so I did not have a need to remove sticker from part...

    That is why I plan to to make systems tractors (they have mostly equal tire sizes on all axles)

    While waiting for parts to arrive, I have played around blood lines using official brochure for 4 series Fastrac and discovered that previous hood version was to flat at the top, so I had to figure out something different. After several hours of trial and error I have finally made proper top line curve for hood, but have to see how to fill gaps in future.... Sorry for rotated images ( but my mobile phone rotation to correct position is not recognized by brick safe... Any comments are welcome, specially from @eric trax

    Now it looks much better but as I'm come complicated mocer there are two things that I do not like ( it is not your fault that TLC does not produce those parts); front balloon tires and light bluish gray rims instead of white... Regards
