Hm, this is a nice little idea, a sort of bulletin board for Buying and Selling. It's just a shame I can't read it all :-P

Well it's not so much that I care about the idea for a sword as much as...well, its true shape really cuts down its usefulness to me *wacko* But I appreciate everyone's advice X-D

OOC: Well it's assumed the DS was pretty much finished right before the start of Ep 4. Also it's theorized the DS you saw at the end of Episode 3 was just the prototype kept at the Maw instillation. And for the DS, it wasn't built around Endor, that was the Death Star II.

OOC: why are you putting it over Endor though?

Exactly :-P Problem is if I cut it down the middle, the peg with be perpendicular to the length of the lightening if inserted into a lightsaber handle (which is what I had planned), or even the black torch pieces. The peg would need to be in line with it to make it viable for a sword. And carving a peg not only would be difficult, but due to the trans nature of ut, stress marks would show all over.

Well this IS disappointing...I thought those blue lightening bolts were each one a vertical peg...but two connected via a horizontal one? There goes my idea for a fantasy crystal sword :'-( Even modding it will be hard...This severely limits its use |-/

Actually out sun is "middle aged", about 5 billion years left before it goes into the Red Giant stage. As for now? I think it's in the muscle car stage, followed by the trophy wife stage :-P Sadly it's more likely than anything :-/ We've come close to killing ourselves off a hundred times already, and we're still a species in our infancy. Some species of fish ruled the oceans for millions of years, we've only been around as the species sapians sapians (those who think about thinking) for the last 100,000 years :-(

Hey again, I was browsing BS, and I noticed this chair by Moko. What I can't place...the only piece I can't figure out in how this was made is the backrest. What's around that 2x2 black tile?

Why wouldn't your opinion matter? This is fantastic advice! I've always been rather lost on lighting...but I might have to make some of those light stands now, they're brilliant (pun intended). Hm, this information might be worth making a tutorial out of! Would you consider making one?

These are phenomenal! Oooh, where to start. Okay, the Orca. It's very well done. The propulsion system is ingenious and it looks very spacey and realistic. However can the canopy open? It doesn't look like it, but I want to be sure. Also try to get rid of the dark bley if you can. And the tale section looks a LITTLE fragile, but I can forgive that. Now for the droid. It's great but it doesn't seem to have much maneuverability. Can it walk? It's really cute though, as I'm sure you intended. The antenna looks a bit weird or out of place though, IMO. Fantastic work, and I can't wait to see more!

Well that's an interesting idea, except it's a little impossible. See, we can't even have a general space contest because there are so many factors to consider. Check the Space forums to see what I'm talking about. Since we can't even have a contest about a theme...how could we award things for various different themes? Like I said, it's a nice idea, but the scope is too large.

This thread over on MCN really took me by surprise! A stormie with an X-mark on his helm, and a face? There are three options as I see it: 1. Damaged helm with some sort of misprint head 2. Mistakenly released new fig 3. This is a prank. Personally I believe it's just a poorly-done prank, as someone pointed out that the "x" mark changes sides of the helm, but I'd like to get everyone's opinion on it :-)

Well, whenever I eventually get around to it, I plan on casting the weapons and hood in resin. I'll be happy to cast a few for you ;-) Er, you mean the large red thing, the statue, or the whole set? :-P Even higher quality than this plastic? That's amazing...next time you order you'll definitely have to let me know :-P
