Fixed. Thanks pietje :-) You too, Wout

This is a really phenomenal piece! Feel like donating some old grey to me? X-D No? Aww... Anyway, on to the MOC! This is really impressive, I love not only the scale of it, but the way you paid attention to some little details (like offsetting the second row of windows on the second floor). Really nice landscaping too, the entire thing feels repetitive in a good way. That said I fear it does suffer from BGW syndrome a bit. Overall nice work though :-) Is there an interior?

What a beautiful way of creating the curved tower! But how is the wizard to get down with some of the steps missing? :-D I think you're right, Dillon, I can even forgive the use of dark bley and BURPs ;-)
-
Hi Bruce, what an absolutely astounding MOC you have for us! I've never been a huge fan of microscale, but this might just change my mind ;-) You've made a beautiful mountain, with a realistic, and lively city carved out of it. That white thing in front of the tower...in both microscale and full scale I assume to be some sort of statue, rather than a tree, right? Also your rendition of the castle gates is one of the few situations where BGW syndrome actually improves the look of the MOC :-P Hm, my only criticism would maybe be to leave some sort of pathway for the citizens to get from one semi-circle to another? I'm not an expert on Minas Tirith, so I don't know if that's just a general design of the place. Regardless, fantastic MOC: both at system-, and micro-scale *sweet*

My LEGO Factory SPACE CITY- "X" Colony Module(s)

Hehe no, I wasn't saying anything about your fantastic designs, I was just letting Stauder@55 know about the prolificness of the concept :-) -
Yeah, this thing was all over classic-space.com when it was in its planning stages, and it really came out beautifully *wub* My only gripe would be that it could stand some tiling on the forward-facing studs...but that isn't much of a complaint :-$ There are just too many ingenious aspects to go into in one post, so i'll just leave it as "beautiful"
-
He's right though, that was spam. And then posting again to tell another user to shut up? >:-( You think that post is any more valuable than anything droideka posted? :-| So knock it off...

My LEGO Factory SPACE CITY- "X" Colony Module(s)

It's actually a very old concept. -
You are correct :-D I actually would've liked to do more of a review, but this is a rather bland set. It's fun, but there's not much to review! For me it focused on the figs and weapons anyway X-D P.S. Did you see the scans?
-
That's what I remember from back then. Everyone thought it was outrageous...but you get two black stormies. That seals it for a higher price IMO And I'll delete your post for you, 007 :-)
-
I can't find the pictures right now...but these are the prices I remembered: MTT: $89.99US JSF: $49.99US Hoth Base: $49.99US (sorry...) TIE Crawler: $49.99US
-
Sure thing! I scanned...but it's a little big to post here, and I'm lazy, so I'll just link to the scans. Better to see anyway ;-) Scan 1 Scan 2 Scan 3 Scan 4 Enjoy :-)

Well, we don't want to be too strict, I don't think there's too much of a problem with it being here, however it has been posted a few times, so I'll close it :-)

Admiral 4J to Lord *vader*: My Lord, it seems the Rebels have spread a virus among out AT-AT! It's causing them to act strangely! I'm having all systems wiped, and I recommend you do the same
-
Yes but Wout answered after...bah, leave it to a Rebel to place the blame on others :-P It's not a big deal at any rate :-)
-
*edits it back* Read a little more carefully before doing things...it said that they don't know who made the models, as we're waiting for answers on both forums. We don't want to credit the wrong person...
-
Well she then realized her mistake! See, everyone loves dogs, and cats are just a pain >:-( So she changed him again for more punishment
-
Well first this was made by TT, not vader...and secondly not everyone on this site speaks English natively |-/ As long as you can understand it, it's good enough ;-)
-
I don't see anything wrong with this 8-| :-P
-
Hm, could you tell us more about this enormous model? Is it yours and these are just pictures someone else took? If not, who is the creator...the owner of the BS account?
-
That gives me excellent ideas for next April 1st X-D

What...gah! This isn't the Rebel leader! This is just someone who had surgery to be a double! Why wasn't a DNA scan taken first?! Hm...maybe at least we can use this to our advantage. *turns to Lieutenant* I want this rebel brought to Coruscant and propaganda made showing how we captured the Rebel leader. Drug him to make him admit on camera that the rebellion was founded on the idea of terrorism and disarray, and that he left it to keep a clean conscience. Also, have him mention that an "impostor" has taken over his role in the Rebellion.........
-
Oh god I hope this is true :'-) When I thought it looked like that crap set... >:-( We need at least 4 snowies, two pilots...and if it walks and looks nice? INSTANT classic. I'd buy two *wub* I just wonder if the motor is RC controlled or if there's a switch...

Well gentlemen, as they say... X-D I've recently bought a set of Oxford, and decided to do a review of it! It's from the Red Devil series, which I bought not only for the awesome accessories, but some nice figs. For those of you who don't know, Oxford Bricks are a korean brand that has the highest quality bricks next to Lego. They have a wide variety of sets that will remind any AFOL of the good old days :-) However the sets are exceedingly rare and almost impossible to get outside of South Korea 8-| But now! On to the set X-D This set is...well...it's something. I just can't read the title. I believe it's part of the "Red Devil" line, which seems to be named after this large, reappearing Red Demon in sets. It's one piece, similar to the dragons of old, but these actually move a bit. The joints are held by metal screws though, so most AFOLs won't like it, and it's definitely the big let down of the set. Anyway... The box: This thing is TOUGH. It's still on shelves, but it feels like the Lego boxes from the Early 90's and 80's. It even has a flap that opens up front to let you see the goodies inside: The box opened up: The bags: The dreaded sticker sheet (I never even touched this): Alright, after I cracked all the bags open, I homed in on the best part (IMO)...the weapons *sweet* : As you can see, the weapons come on these sleeves. There were four in all in this set, two of these chrome weapons (each one being different), and two identical sleeves in trans-green for the bad guys. Getting the parts off can be really tricky. Sometimes they can just be twisted off, but more common than not, that will break or damage the tip. I used a method almost exclusively of cutting the tabs, then sanding them down. Here are the five figures in this set (yes...it is a little fig-poor for a set this price and size): The human "hero" and his two servants. Also two cultists...very cool figs. I'm not a fan of Oxford human faces though...and that cape is flexible plastic :-X One of the servants: His very cool helm: The figure blown up: Note that the fig has all the same parts as a standard lego minifig, however it looks as if the hips can be separated. That's because if you look close, you can see they're small, and actually fit inside the torso! I found out they could be separated by accident :-$ The joints are sadly pretty loose though :-/ Which is Lego, and which is Oxford?: Here you can see the torso is actually slightly curved, especially by the shoulders. This makes it a little more realistic: And of course one of each of the weapons, and shields: I actually ended up getting two of the large swords (dubbed by Redbean as the "Demon's Bane"), one was free inside the bag! Wasn't twisted off...it was just like...there. Weird, but I'm not complaining! Here's the overall set: Let me tell you something, this thing is BIG. Sure, there are a FEW <insert that tiresome argument> pieces here and there, but this thing is more brick-built than anything lego has EVER MADE. The entire thing is brick. No molded baseplate. It was filled with basic bricks and slopes...and they managed to get a nice shape out of it 8-| Oh Lego, have you forgotten? :'-( Flame piece: Four of these ghoulish chrome gold faceplates...they'll surely find a nice place in my Castle MOCs X-D 2/4 of these trans-green corner pieces have a flame printed on them: This statue at the top is one of the most <insert that tiresome argument> pieces in the whole set...but it's still fairly cool. And functional!: Here's the Red Demon: Stretched up a bit: Watch out!: Too late...you're dinner now. Strange statue that it came with...something the cultists use to worship the Red Devil?: Rope mechanism they use to raise and lower the front gate (the large red thing), even though it really doesn't move that much :-/ One third of the back...nice and creepy. And look at all those bricks The whole thing from behind: And one of the best parts? The figs and accessories are almost completely interchangeable! Meet Vos the martial artist (Hey Vos!): Both the sword (*wub*) and the shield fit perfectly into his hands. I can't begin to reassure you how firmly they stay Even the head pieces fit! This cloak, and that chrome silver helm will be nice *wub* They sit a little high on the head, but fine. The center peg in the head pieces can be cut or sanded down a bit to make them fit a bit lower on a lego fig, but I think they're fine as-is You want to see integration? I'll SHOW you integration! They can also wear Lego headpieces 8-

All of the sets mentioned have had pictures up on EB for months now...
