10181 Eiffel Tower this August confirmed by reseller !

250 Euro? Geez...it better not be mostly technic :-/ Imagine the size though...is the 1 meter size still confirmed? -
Except we don't. The reason your post was edited was because it was disruptive posting, there was no need for that huge gap :-| Why would they make you say something bad? We try to keep that kind of stuff off EB, not go out of our ways to put it on...so that was really unnecessary. If you post normally your posts won't need to be edited in the first place. And note how it was noted that it was changed. |-/

That's fantastic news. Gah...this makes me want it more now :-/ Great news to hear that TLG is getting recognition for sets that perfectly fit what AFOLs want :-D Maybe this will be motivation

Would you like to see more fantasy/adventure based themes.

He actually has somewhat of a point, Star Wars is science fiction/science fantasy. It's the whole basis Lucas used when making Star Wars (besides Luke Starkiller being a space potato farmer...) But anyway guys, let's remember not to get off topic ;-) -

I would enjoy that, as I loved the Dragon Knights, but I do like a certain level of realism. I'd just be appreciative of any well-done series though :-) -
He clearly changed it after the joke was over.... :-|

I don't see anything mean with it. In fact he went out of his way to be nice about it, and say that he didn't have a problem with people who have more than one account as long as they aren't doing it to spam and get by bans.
-
10 accounts? I think they should be easy enough to spot...time to look through the list of banned members >:-)
-
hm, well I dunno, I think it's still fair game. We don't have a UCS version of any of these sets! Just new system-scale ones :-) It's not like this is an insanely active topic that is getting spammed...anyway if someone else feels the need to close it go ahead, but for now... UCS On! (I've waited so long to use that :'-) )

Well, stickers have been around since the early days of Lego...so we can't really fault them for that :-P Also, what do you mean by "adding faces"? If you mean like the knight, in mine, that's called an Avatar, and you can add one in your Control Panel
-
Er, that's fine but could you explain the logic to me? Why would you need one to read on? Also, what do you mean by "again"...?
-
I may not be Mr. Hobbles, but I think I can answer that for you. Almost positively the set will be stateside. Something you'll quickly learn as an AFOL in the US is that this is the prime place to be for Lego. We get sets earliest and cheapest (by far).

This wouldn't happen to be it, would it? Peeron Information
-
While that's true, IS, I think he was asking for the set number, not where he could buy it ;-) I'll look quickly, but for future reference, Peeron is an excellent resource for this type of thing. Edit: After a quick search, is this the set you mean? Peeron information Bricklink Stores

Welcome Josh, I'm surprised that after only one day of being back in the hobby you found us! Well, I'm sure you'll enjoy it around here :-)

Admiral 4J to GM *yoda*: Sir, I was appointed to the rank of Admiral by Lord *vader*. Since then I have served both him, and the Empire faithfully. My current mission is to find the source of Rebel propaganda that is littering the Galaxy with anti-Imperial statements of Chaos and Anarchy. I'm currently located in the Outer Rim.

No intention of spamming, I just found this humorous...and an answer to the topic :-P

Well, if you're going into appealing to different audiences, they've been doing that since they started with Castle, Town, Space, etc. And still, even Bionicle to a somewhat limited degree uses bricks, the point is that the brick quality is going down the tubes. Little color control, little control over which pieces are put into a set (mixed colors/part types are NOT acceptable). And as for that stupid nerf launcher? If they're gonna do something, at least do it right! That launcher was...ew :-X

The Green Acres TRU has a decent number of sets...at least compared to the one across from Roosevelt Field. I mean I love the place but there's little in the way of Lego selection :-P Those are the two I usually go to when I'm shopping in a store, ever since the other one on Sunrise got shut down :-/ There's a Target near that TRU if I'm not mistaken, but generally I tend to buy things online. There aren't very many good deals around us, I'm afraid. Well, except when TRU does their 3 for 2 sale. Anyway if you ever need anything, feel free to shoot me a PM, always nice to have another Long Islander on board :-) P.S. And as for the chinese buffet (I assume you mean the large one in between Sunrise and Merrick, I've had better. RVC is known for a lot of restaurants, but I don't think there are very many good chinese ones.

Hm, I think I saw this over on Classic-space.com yesterday. This really is brilliant, I love how armored this feels. The interior is beautifully done, the greebles are phenomenal, and well, I just don't think there's anything negative I can say about this! It does look a slight big awkward for them to unload though, as they can only do so from the center one at a time, but that's entirely forgivable. One thing though, why did you make the roof open like that? Was it just so you could see inside? If it's that, why not just make a roof top that simply lifts off, or do you just prefer this design? Man, this is amazingly parts-intensive for something this size

Long Island? You're kidding me! I'm from Rockville Centre :-P What about you?
-
Hmmm....I'll just keep my mouth shut about this :-P Happy Birthday the two of you! And don't worry Jipay, if thinking about being 25 makes your head hurt, just think of it this way: you've already started your 26th year X-D 26 has always been my lucky number though, here's to hoping it's yours as well ;-)

:-D :-D Sorry, I didn't mean to poop on your parade, I was tired and I guess I sounded a bit more monotone than I meant to! I agree that it will be fantastic in a few decades, and have great possibilities for customizers, though I think the color issue might make reproducing bricks and the like a bit difficult, especially on any scale! This gives me another thought...people using this to make cheap copies of very rare and valuable pieces to sell as a scam *wacko*

An easier way is to just use a tripod and turn down the shutter speed or F-stop some :-)
