Ah, sorry, I misunderstood. I believe it makes a noise, but I'm not positive. Does anyone know?

Aww, the picture doesn't seem to be working anymore :-( Happy Birthday DE!

A few members have mentioned that they couldn't make a new topic in the theater forum, or make new posts. It's just some sort of bug with the skin. You can still post and make topics, the buttons you need to press to do so are just invisible at the moment, their text color probably got changed somehow. This is what it currently looks like: But if you try to highlight the area where the buttons usually are... It's just a temporary problem, and I'm sure our technical admins will fix it as soon as they get back. But in the meantime, you can still post :-)

New Earth-Like Planet Discovered in the Habitable Zone
Starwars4J replied to Starwars4J's topic in Community
Actually, when the sun turns into a Red Giant, as it burns the last of its hydrogen and moves to primarily helium, it will expand to be the size of mars' orbit. That is, mars will be inside the sun. Likely the close proximity will ignore the gases in Jupiter, which is just a sun that never got started. This won't happen for another 5 billion years. By then either we'll be extinct, or so technologically advanced that we'll be able to prevent the sun from dying. Or we'll remove the sun and replace it with an artificial one. Well, as it's 20 light-years away, that means traveling at the speed of light, it would take one of our ships 20 years to get there. However the best we can currently do is maybe 1% the speed of light. 2000 years. Even the most ambitious near-future propulsion systems only allow for approaching .5c, or half the speed of light, which would still take an entire generation to span the stars. Our only hope for extra-solar colonization would be FTL travel, the only option of which that looks feasible, would be controlled wormholes. -
Shipping August 1? :-/ I hope the other castle sets are out sooner than that...

Nice, I'm from Rockville Centre. I haven't checked that Walmart out, but I think I'll check it out when I'm home from college

You're from NY too? I haven't noticed that TRU get things in particularly early...

I don't know about before, but when I tried it for the US it worked fine. This is really exciting news, I just wonder when the new castle sets will be available...and the sets with the golden droids...bah

:-D But surely you know that it, like most other planets, was named after the Roman God of the Underworld, which fit Pluto's distant, cold appearance -
So...what does this have to do with the Bionicle set images from the toyfair exactly? *wacko*

Brilliant find, Simon! This only makes me want them more :'-) *wub*
-
:'-( Eh, I have a wizard as the owner of this large keep I'm making. If I ever finish it, I'll have a nice place to post in this genre, athos :-P Though at this rate it will take several more years unless I can find a huge lot of 2xX grey...

Good. Nobody post an entry for at least two weeks 8-| :-P

Sigh, first the CCC and now this? I'm missing out on all the fun contests *sing* If only I were near my bricks... Good luck to all the contestants!

[Link] I propose we call it Coruscant X-D
-
Exactly, anyone is free to join (as long as they haven't already been banned that is >:-) ). You're not contacting him as a representative of Eurobricks, you're just contacting him as a fellow lego enthusiast, so I see no problem in it, really. And as dunamis mentioned we want to try for a more mature userbase that will both respect other members and contribute constructively to the community

Very nice ship here! It's amazing that you can build something out of scraps that I couldn't build if I planned it X-D I love how mottled and thrown together this looks, although I understand the use of old dark grey and dark bley was used to give the impression of it being thrown together, it just irks me. Beautiful ship, and I love the crew :-)

Ugh...from that review the aliens disappoint me to no end. Just another reason not to buy non-human sets. Thanks for the link, sne

Sadly the actual gold ones aren't given away in boxes, just the chrome-painted ones! It's...not like I considered using a very strong magnet on the boxes or anything 8-| :-$
