Well Nightwing is the grown up version of the first Robin. However this doesn't really have much to do with the sets...but I'll leave it open for now
-
Huh? Which troopers? All the ones I see have headgear that has been used before
-
Haven't we known about this for months?
-
Wonderful review, I'm so jealous :'-( This is definitely one of the best sets put out by Lego! I love the return of those ball turrets *wub* Could you maybe tell us how the door opening mechanism works? You turn a knob, and gears push the droid carriage through the door, or do the doors open on their own? I think the carriage pushes them open due to the slops on top, but I can't be sure
-
And for the record, I maintain that *yoda* was holding the lightsaber inside the clone trooper, and not that they messed up the physics in that scene :-P
-
Yeah, I'm much better now, thanks :-D And as for the pillars, I swear it wasn't me! I don't have any :'-( It would be great for a future castle project though... And thanks for the review, I always look forward to them, you put so much life and thought into each one. You almost want to make me start to collect those figs ;-)
-
I merged your posts Hinckley, and great review! I didn't want to get this at first, and still might not but at least now I'm seriously considering it. Frankly I just want it for the pillar :-P
-
Actually...he does have feedback :-X Also, he keeps calling it the Star Destroyer, while showing pictures of the DSII...it's all just so sketchy I wouldn't risk it.
-
This is a part of the castle subtheme and has been talked about for a few months now. Conversation about it can continue there.

http://gonintendo.com/?p=17327 That's the "big" project. Star Wars Lego 1 and 2 combined on the wii. Whoopti doo |-/

Long Overdue Unofficial Friend Code Sharing Thread!
Starwars4J replied to Lost Viking's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yes, but you can easily transfer over your DS wifi code from your current one to a new one. Would you like me to find out how, for you? -
I'm hoping you mean Millenium Falcon... :-P
-
And you have all of the figs? I'm just trying to get info for when Brick Miner and Brickster get here. They're the WW officials, though I will say those are some very sought after sets. WW didn't have a long run, but has a decent fanbase.
-
Well, as you may know we have two WW aficionados here, so I'm sure they'll be able to help you out X-D Now do you have any instructions? The boxes I'm better are long gone, but can you at least piece out all of those sets, including MF? Those factors all make the difference

I actually really don't like it :-/ It looks very fragile, just a bunch of plates held together in a very boxy way. I mean don't get me wrong, I like the unique front appearance, with those "raised" beams or what have you, but the rest of it is too plain and boxy for my liking.

*slaps his forehead* Why didn't I think of that? Thankfully it's never too late to cut the hair piece, so I can make what I did look more natural like yours. Thanks for the tip! K'kuhk is still the most amazing in terms of sheer detail, and as for the Jedi with the long head, is that just two heads stalked on top of each other and covered, or did you cut off the top of another head and filled the middle in with putty? And you used Green stuff for this?! I could imagine this level of detail on a sculpy work easy, but green stuff is so hard to work with! This makes it much more impressive
-
Hey, these are fantastic! I am a little confused about a few things though. You mentioned having used anikan's hairpiece as a base, and yet it looks like they're molded directly onto the head. I've been dabbling in headpieces as well recently, so I'd love to know how you did it
-
Very nice job on the vig, though I think the wall might be a bit plain. It's a fairly powerful scene, though maybe try and add some more detail in? a grate on the wall, some greebs on the floor. Hell, maybe even make him flying on that nifty glider you made so this is all 5-10 studs above "ground*

Actually Asuka, here's a little trick for any time you want to see a folder. First, right-click on the picture and select "View Image". The image should be the only thing displayed then, and the URL should look like this (from the Sandy picture) See the part at the end in bold? Delete it and hit enter. You should be brought right to the folder!
-
What perfect timing considering everything that you got recently! Someone up there must like you X-D Happy Birthday! 32 down, 868 years to go ;-) I'm sure this will be one to remember!
-
It's in the cave. Found only on the second floor during the day. 2 psychic types? You mean fighting? Well Lucario was just too good to pass up, and besides, an in-game team doesn't need to be good :-P Reflect is meant to help in a pinch. He generally won't have time to set up a full barrier (3 turns)

The most Creative Wizard? This goes hands down to Phes. Even the name is creative! "Pirate Guy with a Wand" ...wait :-P The Best Overall Wizard? This I'm sad to say I'm in the minority for! I voted for Hinkley 40 ( :-P ). While it is a standard cape and cowel, I like that it's simple. A wizard isn't supposed to be worried about fashion afterall :-D And that face...it just works so well for some reason. To me it makes him more mysterious, like he's from another far land, and has totally different abilities. A real wildcard. and which has the Best Wizard's Workshop. This was a giveaway to the Brickster, so much thought and effort went into a great MOC

Yeah, with the upcoming AT-AT update, the Slave 1's, two A-wings, B-wings, Y-wings, etc, I'd say another Republic Gunship, one of the most popular SW sets, is almost assured *sweet*
-
Well the TV show will probably have it, and it's the second level of canon :-) They already have the black R2 head as well, it would be easy to make! I just hope they actually do it |-/ It's starting to remind me of that picture on Brickshelf of the 10 different JSF in different colors Edit: These beauties *wub*

Fire types are my specialty X-D I love them. Sadly there aren't many new fire types :-/ Catching a ponyta is probably your best bet...also, try to get a gible early on under cycling road, I hear they're pretty helpful (and dragon rage early on is nice...) My in game party is: Infernape Dictyo the Gastrodon Neo the Alakazam Sparks the Luxray LUEcario the Lucario(you should get the pun, kiku :-P) and machop (HM slave) For an actual team I don't think I'd use any of these, though I did design a couple Alakazam end-game movesets, tell me what you think!: Alakazam @ Lum Berry*/Colber Berry Synchronize 252 Spd/ 252 SpA / 6 Def Nature: +def/-atk -Barrier/Reflect* -Psychic -Thunder wave/Recover* -Double Team/Focus Blast* Alakazam @ Choice Specs Synchronize Nature: +/-atk 252 SpA / 252 Spd / 6 HP -Recover -Psychic -Thunder wave -Reflect I prefer the first set, as it gives more versatility. Also, anything with a * is the preferred, and anything else is just for extraneous circumstances :-P
