Well I don't know, I'm pretty sure that the library would only be as large as say...LDD is now. Some pieces won't be there, SOME SNOT won't be allowed...and besides, will they do constant updates every time a new piece comes out? Will they include all the old, discontinued parts, and the variants? I dunno...

Well silly or not, those are the rules...and personally I think it's a good idea. While it may be a "toy", this is an AFOL site. An age limit means hopefully less spamming kids running around. This is going off topic though, and the entire thread is just kinda leading to trouble...I'm closing this for now.

The first suggestion on what to say would be to not start your intro stating that you're 13 on a website that has a requirement of 18+ to join |-/

If Bricklink was so unreliable, I doubt it would be the premier brick marketplace for AFOLs :-D Make sure, like with everything else, that before you go to buy something from someone, you check their feedback! Also try to contact the people you're dealing with, many times it's just a simple mistake! For instance in a recent order two pieces were missing. I contacted the guy, and he shipped out the parts right away with a sincere apology. And last but not least, remember that paypal and credit cards will generally insure you up to a certain price against fraud like that.

Hey Piranha, you probably noticed them in Hinckley's album of a recent chicago event where they premiered! I believe he said BF will be coming out with them soon, so don't forget to check at MCN until his own forum starts up soon! Right now this topic is about shakos though ;-)

That's a very good point, Asuka. Sadly EF really never strayed too far from the stick-figure mecha that were front heavy and naked at the back. Maybe one or two sets left that pattern...I think there's still plenty of room to grow if TLG takes the leash off, so to speak, but I don't think it will happen :-/ EF will probably be dead in the next 2 years.

I will throw in the measurable effects, such as the slight increase in global temperature over the last 100 years, and the measurable shrinkage of the polar ice caps... As for the ice age, that would come about after global warming. The environment has a great ability to reset itself, so that after an episode of global warming, we would likely experience an ice age...with a return to normal after that. This is taking into account that we don't have a runaway global warming effect like what happened on Mars millions of years in the past...causing the loss of its atmosphere.

I remember this really nice MOC I saw awhile back that actually transformed...I wish I still had the link. Sadly I don't think it will happen, without taking it apart and re-assembling it differently, Lego is too hard to make "transform" like that on a budget. Meaning that to get it to be done right, it needs to be very parts intensive. The only way I could see this working would be as a UCS line.

That might have been back during an early phase of the website when everything was reset. Anyway it's nice to have you back! I really like this ship, I feel that cargo ships are fairly underrepresented as far as MOCs go. I don't know what parts and pieces you have available to you, so I'll guess that the Pirate hulls were all you had? They look kind of strange, wood hulls for an industrial freighter :-D You could always try some brick-built hulls. Overall I love the designs, though they are a tiny bit blocky. The coloring is really nice, and I LOVE those vehicles! I can't really see that well, how is the car secured? I see something red but...beyond that can't make it out. Also, you may (or may not, it's all a matter of preference) want to try tiling the surface to give it a more finished look. Overall this is really nice, and I can't wait to see you post some more stuff!

Could someone provide a link to the guns you're talking about? I can probably help tell what they are, but I'm guessing they're most likely LA guns

Sorry, my mistake :-$ That's very interesting news! It takes a lot out of the sets but...what will they do to represent the "bad guys"? Most of them were Nazis afterall...just not wearing the same uniform. Does that mean a theme without enemies?

And I think your attitude is getting a little out of hand >:-( He thinks the legs look flimsy (I just think they look poorly designed, full of holes and...meh, I'm not getting into it), and you think they look fine. You're both entitled to your opinion. How, exactly, would you like being told that you've caught a "case of the stupid" because you thought they looked fine?

Well if someone is gonna ask for money, I doubt they'd ask for anything below the lowest BL price, or ask for something less valuable via the prices on BL, that's usually how it works in trades :-P Good luck with it!

Yes, it should ;-) Like I said in my first post, this is probably a fake. It reeks of some kid making it...even worse than the normal EF sets X-D And the writing looks fake too...I think the moc-up is done nicely, but the set itself isn't...
