Well that's more about the individual store...I once had an order take almost forever to ship from England, but other times it would ship really fast. I think I agree with legoman about patience 8-| Not even mentioning that you can make those flick missiles from two already existing pieces if you're in such a rush..

Thanks! And yup, the mouth is lower on the second one. I thought it looked better that way, just wanted a second opinion :-) Alright, I'll definitely experiment with making the eyes a bit smaller. As for the rounder shape, you want them to be more wide open? I just made them this shape because most people walk around with their eyes at least a little closed :-D This is the second comment I've gotten about making the eyes rounder though... Did you see the face I was sort've basing this off of though? The Katara? Anyway when you say rounder, you mean making the whole thing more open, or maybe making the inside portions stouter?

I'm confused Alex, could you point out what part of the MOC is a custom?
-
Not to mention that Western sets seem to go for a premium these days...you'd be lucky to find them under twice self value.

I'm not going to make the actual warning lights light up, but I'm strongly considering putting the ship's number on the side in trans-blue plates and putting a light behind that so it lights up. As for the artistic shape, overall I do want it somewhat simple as it's more believable to have a simpler shape (just look at real military sea vessels, they're almost all very simple in shape), though the entire top is going to be one large dome, which is actually a lot harder than it sounds :-D I also have plans to spice up the back with a pair of large fins (not to mention the engines), and the bottom will have an interesting fin design as well which, I hope, will invoke feelings of terran sea vessels No, not at all :-D I'm planning something like the entirely believable, possible, and futuristic quad turrets in the Millennium Falcon X-D

Well if you want to make a chat it's fine, it won't be an official EB chat linked from the main page etc of course ;-) -

Probably for the best too, it can get really out of hand really fast if someone isn't there 24/7... -
My point was that it won't be a $300 one, but rather would more likely be one of the $100 ones at most. We've already had "cheap" PT UCS sets, remember the Naboo fighter?

Here's the old version: The eyes were WAY too small. Also, the reason I'm working in a large scale like this was I got the tip that it'll look a lot less pixelated if I draw it big and shrink it down right before I print ;-) As you can see, the eyes on the old one look fine...but in reality they just don't cut it :-/ I just hope I didn't go overboard with these :-D

Very nice, reminds me a lot of Moko's Exo-droid

Hey there, awhile ago I made a sigfig that didn't turn out as great as expected, the eyes were too small, and it looked too "real", well as real as Lego can get, which took away from some of the believability. Since then I've tried to redo it (with a little help from *vader*'s great advice). Anyway, I have two versions, only differing in the mouth placement. They're still WIPs, so things could change fast, but I was hoping for some feedback. Is the mouth too thick? Too thin? Is it placed wrong? Are the eyebrows unbelievable? Are the eyes too open? Is it missing that something special? This is just based on normal aesthetics and not EXACTLY what I look like, so that's what I'm hoping any advice could be based on. Does it just look wrong for some reason? I was inspired mainly by the Katara head, it's far and away my favorite. Anyway, here they are: Thanks!

Well they did make an AT-ST in both minifig scale and UCS at the same time... Very good point, and given that it was released at the end of 2007, chances are that could be our big UCS set for awhile. And hey, my wallet isn't complaining! I'm not sure I can really see them doing a UCS for the PT. Think of it this way, UCS is aimed mostly at the AFOL audience, right? Most adults love the OT and hate the PT, thus making them less likely to put down the same kind of money for a PT set as an OT set. Let's face it, if you're an adult and had to have a UCS Death Star or a UCS Droid control ship, which will you be more likely to buy? Most adults would opt for the DS since it brings back fond memories and just holds a special place in their heart. To be honest, I'd love a DS1 UCS next to my DS2. We actually very well may get it. If you remember, the Bespin playset had UCS numbering...this upcoming Death Star set, which very well may be a playset, could fill the same role.

I'm happy with all of it to be honest. I didn't know about the official gunship without the side pods, but I'm not a fan...I hope the final product will have them back. As for the Clone Wars, they are the highest level of canon as they were mentioned directly in the films. So the Clone Wars are canon and not EU, which is basically infinities. However the events that took place during the clone wars that were not mentioned in the movies but were shown in the show are EU and not Canon.

This seems like it must have been sparked by something but I don't know what *wacko* Mind PMing me with what inspired this? :-D What you're saying makes sense of course, people need to take a step back and not get so worked up over things :-P -
Thanks *sweet* Well this being a cruiser, and not a strict warship such as the battleship I'm planning, it'll have a small occupation force that's currently planned to be 30-40. Then around 10 techs to keep the ship running, and a general to operate it of course. Thankfully I have all the figs. It'll also hold 4 fighters and 4 assault mecha, as well as a tank which I've yet to build (or even plan!)
-
But Piranha didn't even make this one 8-| Indi for best and aliens for worst. I love the Rebel troopers, but I fell in love with Indi *wub*

Well I do have a plan to add warning lights to the wall using this piece:

He didn't mean that you're a dick, which was a little harsh. But you've been warned to cut back on the spamming multiple times (such as this post, which consisted entirely of a face) but continued regardless. You just post quickly without thinking, which you've been warned against, and tend not to take a hint when told nicely to calm down. Nobody here has anything against you personally or is trying to gang up on you, but if you keep it up you'll have to be chambered, and I don't think any of us want that.
-
Then you need to think more before you post. This isn't an IM service, nor is it a chat room, and if you don't think more before you post, as has been mentioned in several other topics of yours, you'll get in trouble. That doesn't excuse rudeness.
-
Why are you using just those themes? You're missing a lot there... And "please" to sinner would be nice :-/
-
Er, when you ask if we have extras, you mean there were decal'd helmets that you wanted? Are you asking for someone to make a custom mold of a helmet, or for decals for the helmet?
-
Well why did you choose the figs you did? Are they your personal favorites and personal least liked? If so that's not a very honest poll, especially without, as mentioned above, an "others" option. Now you see why we limited polls to Knight and above :-D

Wouldn't it be easier to do a simple copy/paste of your post there?
