I agree with Batbrick. We often have more than one review of a set :)
-
Ah :-$ I'm not sure if I'm saving those for christmas or not :-D I know enigma is doing a stormie battlepack review tomorrow though. As for the dropship, the AFOL I spoke with said it swooshed like a bee *wacko*
-
You can still do a review if you want :-P and yeah, those transclear cheese slopes may have appeared before, but they're still a nice, interesting part to me The minibot is really what sells this to me, it's quite a clever design *y* Yeah, the openings can be easily closed though :-P As for an 8 in the parts, I was disappointed in those spikes...a lot. Also some more of those new cheesegrater wedges would have been appreciated (and in bley, rather than ALL limegreen), but eh. 8/10 isn't bad ;-) A little X-D

From the guy with the new JSF :-P X-D Sure ;-) Shako: Pith: Fireman's helmet: Yup! No problem ;-) There was the Chameleon Hunter, River Dragon, Imperial Dropship (Battle Pack), 3 PaB cups, and 2 copies of a new GotD racer

So I made my first trip to a Lego store today and picked out a couple of new sets, including the Chameleon Hunter. This was my most-looked-forward-to new EF set as I love green *wub* It was a great little set as you'll see X-D Name: Chameleon Hunter Set Number: 8114 Price: 14.99USD Number of Pieces: 188 First off, the box: Different than previous EF sets, a 3D effect is created by layering two detailed cardboard sides. Standard besides that though. Some new parts: Really like them, can't wait to get those cheesegrater pieces in dark bley X-D Red swords are always nice... But wait, this piece... Is it two-toned? Uh oh... Half of it is crappy bendable plastic? |-/ That's a disappointment... Anyway, onto the set! Well at least the instructions: Parts list: Error: Stickers: Fig: I'm loving this torso. Same two-sided face, and same hair that doesn't cover the back face entirely Minibot: I love this thing :-$ It's so awesome, great articulation, and it's cute! Chameleon hunter front view: This thing is awesome. Great poses are possible, and it looks menacing! (and it's green :-$ ). Okay, this might be the second-ever EF set I keep together...next to the Supernova. Left arm with laser and clawgrip: Right arm with minibot and flamethrower: Without minibot: Shoulder-mounted missiles: Cockpit swung open: No controls... Back: Uh oh, his bum is exposed :-$ Not a very nice idea I really love this thing, despite the pointy spikes being rubber :-( Great cockpit (for the most part), love the look, and great colorscheme X-D Price: 10 Fig(s): 8 Parts: 8 Playability: 9 Swooshability: 9 Asthetics: 7 Overall: 51/60

What a brilliant solution for Vader's battle-damaged helmet! Thanks for sharing the pics X-D And from what he said, I don't think he has the whole set to do a review of 8-| But thanks for this, and the battlepack pics tomorrow ;-)
-
Well as you may have noticed this isn't BZP :-P Have you tried e-mailing their staff? That's about all you can do...
-
Well you said you made sure the torso was old grey, which gave the impression there was a choice :-P As for the same head, there's only so many heads out there :-D That's why I've resorted to custom decals ;-)
-
Yeah, that's way too big. Resizing is a good idea, hopefully to something around 800x600 ;-)

Go on, tell me what I can do with it, suckup >:-)

Custom Plastic Max Rebo Casts For Sale
Starwars4J replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Well if you sanded one and painted it we'd be able to tell :-P I can't wait to see how it looks :-) Always a good idea ;-) -
Most TRU should still have them on shelves, have you checked all your local shops? Bricklink currently has them $20 more than you're willing to pay, so that idea is out, but some shop near you should have it. Either that or wait for a steal on Ebay

Custom Plastic Max Rebo Casts For Sale
Starwars4J replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
And yet you forgot to change plastic to resin :-P Just remember that around here, we're all allowed to express our opinions on MOCs and customs, but we always try to do so in a constructive and positive way. Nobody started out as the best, people improve by learning and trying again and again. :-) Also SN, I'm sending you a quick PM ;-) -
Classic-Space user, Nannan recently came up with a really neat MOC. He's been delving into abstract art, and this really caught my eye. I figured you guys might get a kick out of it. An extra-dimensional plane of existance, ruled over by Ulyoath. Behold, the Cry of Dreams. Supposedly everything has some meaning, can you find them all? Link to original thread

Edited for spelling? Oh the irony :-P And yes, his point was that when kids get too annoying, as we were talking about, there are consequences. I think just about everyone got that... Well would you? You're only 14, and seem to have an attitude to match, so I'm not sure where you were going with that...

Custom Plastic Max Rebo Casts For Sale

Well most of the professional casters, such as Recluse or Arealight use silicon or resin for their casts, but it still takes longer than an hour to cast and paint :-P After doing a little research it seems you're using resin, and not a true plastic ;-)
