  1. I didn't find it rude at all, topic closed
  2. Well I doubt all, or most of them like LEGO. I'm sure we'll be seeing quite a few being fenced. Thanks for the news, darkrebellion :-)
  3. We shall X-D
  4. I think I'm in love *wub* This might actually surpass CC
  5. Thanks :-$
  6. ~VBBN~ you really should credit the creator when posting
  7. I'm also in the process now of moving everything to one unified, devoted room, rather than spread amongst three or for rooms 8-| I'll post pictures whenever that's ready... Something like the Nova Taurus, Ghoul, Dewey, Dragonstar, Vanguard, Q-35 Aerospace Jumpjet, or even the Asmodeus *wub* Well I originally made a custom fig, but that didn't turn out great, so I'm currently working on a new one Well I'm currently applying for a medical masters program that I want to do before med school, which should last one year. Then after that is med school. I'm currently studying for the MCATs (Medical College Admission Test) which I plan to take in April. I'd really love to go to medschool somewhere here in NY though the masters program will probably be in Virginia (if everything goes well!). As for why? Clearly I'm a madman X-D I just honestly couldn't see myself being happy doing anything else. It has been my singular goal since I could remember.
  8. Because none of those people matter :-P Also whoa, the interview? I thought stauder lost that thing to the abyss long ago 8-|
  9. The only two characters that were ever named back in "the good old days" were Majesto and Timmy :-D I liked it better that way, now-a-days we always seem to need a name for the figs, look at the disaster that resulted in with KK2 :-| I for one am glad they moved so far away from that unimaginative crap. Hell, we don't even have an official name for the new castle line :-D I like that. And yes, I realize BL has a name for them, but that's far from official
  10. Nope, hollisbrick made the poll, but I thought it was silly to have this topic and a poll, so instead I decided to merge the two. Since warnicarus's post was older, his post was first.
  11. Hi there, legotownman. Mind telling us a little more about yourself? How old you are, your favorite themes, etc :-)
  12. I don't get why so many people don't understand that news of the Advent Calender broke on EB and not classic-castle 8-|
  13. When I saw the topic title, I could only think "Please, let this not be the same topic that has been made like 10 times today, with several of them on this page and closed :-| " Sadly I was wrong 8-| Remember to at least check the page you're on or search or something...
  14. Thanks :-$ I had actually started with the shield design which has been laying around for months in my pile of "ideas that could be turned into MOCs" :-D I only started building the rest of the droid recently, doing the torso first, followed by the head, the legs, and t hen refining the torso, and finishing up the arms. I'm actually pretty pleased with the way the torso came out, if you look at the back, it's actually a bunch of connections that are offset by small amounts and, by the grace of god, fit together :-D Yay! Someone noticed the feet *wub* It's one of my favorite aspects of the droid. It has toes, and if you look closely even an arch :-$ As for Battlestar Galactica I've never seen the show, but I take that as a compliment :-P Thanks very much! And yup, Sinner got that covered nicely *sweet* Appreciate the comments, everyone
  15. Fantastic! I'm amazed you can just throw something like this together because you're bored :-P It's an impressive MOC on an impressive scale. It's so busy, as mentioned earlier, it reminds me of those dioramas LEGO would make for their booklets that they'd include with all their sets *wub*
  16. Fantastic, these are just extraordinary! You have such a unique style, these just seem like a natural progression from your previous tanks...though I miss the green :'-( You've definitely nailed that "futuristic" feeling down, great job! I wonder how you build so well so fast *wacko* Is the pilot 100% Mission Mars or is it custom at all?
  17. The Imperial Heavy Assault and Riot Droid was developed as a second generation Assault Droid to combat increasing rebel threats in urban environments. The threat has moved from small bands of isolated rebels with small, hand-held weapons to larger, more organized threats, so a more efficient combat droid was needed. The HARD is protected by an energy shield that can withstand blasts from most hand-held weapons. It's projected from three panels, one on the chest and two on the legs. The fully articulated HARD allows it to protect itself in case it's energy shield is penetrated. With a pair of thick physical shields on each forearm While rebels might initially believe this to be to their advantage, attacking while the HARD is protecting itself and vulnerable, such is not the case. The armor can open up to reveal a rapid-firing minilaser on each forearm. This cannot fire at the same time as a normally mounted arm weapon. The entire Imperial Assault Droid family. The shield can be used for physical impact as well. And finally, the most potent weapon on the HARD, the grenade launcher It has a stock of 6 paralysis-gas grenades for handling riots when the survivors are wanted, and a nearly endless supply of instant-made energy grenades (basically energy stored in a magnetic field and surrounded by a thin sheet which can be produced in the barrel) for when they are not. Also perfect for urban assault missions. Gallery when moderated
  18. No problem *sweet*
  19. Been playing too much Starfox? :-P "Left! No, the other le-crshhhhhhhhhhh" :-D I'd try to put some actual controls in to up the realism. Also maybe some tiles on the wings to make them look more sleek. Also consider adding something to the wing tips, they look a little naked ( :-$ ) for some reason
  20. It's actually missing quite a few :-P Still nice display
  21. This is an absolutely fantastic set! Thanks for bringing us the pictures *wub* I can't say anything about it that hasn't been said already, though I do have to disagree about Market Street. That's the only one of the three I won't have picked up. It just seemed a bit cheaper or more rushed than Cafe Corner or this set, especially for that price. This however... *wub* *wub* And how can I not like a set that's about green? *wub*
