I think you should provide a bit of info on what nannan's contest is and, for that matter, who he is. A link wouldn't be a bad idea either, not everyone frequents classic-space, afterall ;-)

If you're doing one on clone brands, you might enjoy this review I did on an oxford set awhile ago. *wub* Oxford, the quality is as high as, or even higher than LEGO

Well you have to remember it's only $150, so if you want something that's UCS you'd vote UCS. If you want something with minifigs but also a lot of details you'd vote minifig scale and then "a lot of details" at the sacrifice of figs. This isn't going to be a $500 set, so you can't have both like in that beautiful falcon *wub* Well that thread people were posting ideas for sets. It was all over the place and some people were discussing OT vs. PT, others were posting set details! I figure we should take it step by step, first we should determine some smaller things like PT vs. OT. Figs or not? After that we can have another poll to determine which set we'd like. It makes it much more organized that way :-)

As you may have seen in this link the Ambassadors want to find out what we'd like in a 10th Star Wars Anniversary set. There's a lot of talk going on here, but I thought a nice poll would help keep things organized. Please vote! After we get the results in for this, we'll close this poll and then hold another based on suggestions in the discussion topic on which set in particular you'd want (based on what wins out in this poll). This is important and LEGO is counting on you to help make a part of Star Wars history! Edit: To avoid confusion think of UCS as UCS-scale and minifigs as minifig-scale. Going by this the UCS Millenium Falcon would be a minifig-scale ship built to UCS quality (in other words, option 1 for question 1, option 3 for question 4)

I agree here...but it needs a trans-blue fig. It just needs one! We've wanted a force-ghost for a long time now, and this would be the perfect opportunity. And yes, Luke flying into the trench IS Star Wars, and it needs to be an OT set. Anything else wouldn't make sense.

The only yellow heads in that pic I see are Palpatine and Voldemorte Those were the heads from the Stingrays, an underwater faction opposing some incarnation of the Aquanauts

Thank god that's not our policy around here then X-D Respecting the brick isn't the same as loving it, apparently. And freedom of the brick is, thankfully, in LEGO's best interest, as well as our own. LEGO's largest concern isn't the Chinese rip-offs, it's Megablocks. And our feedback gives them time to change and make better their products before they're released, for better sales. What better feedback than this? Leaked pics ON! Edit: And nah, the only joke is 'Respect the Brick'. How can you respect something if you don't think and care about it?

I really wish there was some way to fix the problem of the legs being so far forward but I guess there isn't. Great job on these, but if you're making brick-built legs might as well try to find some knees for them :-P

We have a certain agreement with TLG to not post pictures with enough advance as to give their competitors time to copy their designs and get them out before they can. Which pictures were taken down (and which will go back up) are not a matter of the source, but rather the timing.

Well those may or may not get taken down, it depends on if LEGO is going to throw a temper tantraum to them too :-D And the pics may or may not be down for good. We did Lego a favor by honoring their request, but some of those may be fair game, we'll see ;-) EB is and always will be the place for leaked pics

Whoa, missed this :-D The dome will fit over the top, which will be lines with tiles to allow easy removal. As for a bridge, yes it will be in the front of the ship, rather than on top of the dome. The bridge has been started X-D Thanks :'-) Awesome, thanks :-$

I believe it does retain the emotion. Something with your MOCs that I don't get from most others is that it's quite easy to turn it into a scene from a movie. You can hear the waterfall crashing on your entrance to the caves, the loud silence followed by intermittent echos in the cave in your entrance to the cave MOC. I think it's why I admire them so much, there's just something so real about them. Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions :-)
