    How can you find that intrusive? It add adds articulation where there wasn't any to begin with. That's actually a good thing. Arm functions are intrusive because they clash with the already existing articulation in the arms. They cause problems. A waist joint doesn't cause problems.

    I guess I should mention that I have hated the gear functions in constraction sets since Bionicle first started. I don't care how much they improve. If it has one, it's gone. The only good gear function for me so far are the waist joints.

    On the translucent plastic issue, it doesn't matter which company uses it, be they Lepin, Lego or even Hasbro, translucent plastic is brittle by nature.

    I don't think digital entries will be considered. Also, the abundance of black amd lack of any significant contrasting color doesn't work well.

    I'm still baffled by the fact they can't give a reason for it being cancelled. Didn't they have a reason the first time around? Why not this time?

    Look, you can argue in Lego's favor all you want, but there is no denying they made a dumb move. The ending to G1 was better thought out.

    Yeah, guys, since Jang buys his MB sets super early, he almost seems to always have bad luck and receive problematic sets most of the time, whereas the rest of us don't have the problems. Some of his subscribers even joke about it, saying it's a curse. Also, if LEGO wanted the license for Star Trek they would've applied for it years ago like they did with Star Wars.

    All I will say is that if there's no full constraction line by at least 2018 and all we get are Ultrabuilds for system lines, I'm crossing LEGO off my list of interests.

    A guy going by toaprime on TFW made a point that LEGO could have included the MoUP with Ekimu instead of the insignificant repaint of Umarak's mask. At least that way we would have gotten all 3 legendary masks.

    Looking at the 3 separate models in the picture, the leftmost model is closest in appearance to how Makuta looks in JTO.

    Not really. I highly doubt LEGO would have them make a finalized animation model for a non-finalized set.

    I will never understand what is so appealing about those clip pieces as fingers. There are parts that pull it off better. Everything else looks good.

    So, with the reveal of MoUP Makuta in Ekimu's video, I hope the eventual set next year looks like that. Black and Red's cool and all, but Kulta, LOSS and Lava Beast already have that covered. I think having Makuta be his standard Gold and Purple will be a welcome change for me. It also would easily allow for an alternate build where he's villager/protector sized.
