  1. So, guess that means Makuta won't be black and red, but his normal Purple and Gold, with a printed chest plate no less.
  2. There wouldn't be any "attitude" if I didn't keep seeing people coming into a MB thread and saying "LEGO would of done it better" as well as the usual insults thrown at MB. This is why MB fans avoid these forums. In fact, over on the MB collector forums, I haven't seen anybody talk bad about LEGO. Also, no, the Enterprise is not a good representative of the Signature Series sets, as this isn't compatible with the included figures, while all the rest are compatible. And as for your statement about MB still being inferior, you're wrong. I'm not saying they have superior quality, but they are on par with LEGO quality.
  3. We need more human CCBS sets. Not everyone wants to keep buying robotic type characters.
  4. Why do people like you even come in here? Why do you people insist that MB is inferior? Guess what, it's not. Take your brand loyalty and toss it. MEGA BLOKS is the best company for this as they specifically target the collector market. LEGO doesn't, and compared to all of MEGA's Signature Series sets, LEGO's UCS sets don't hold up. I like LEGO, but at least I'm not blinded by brand loyalty like the majority of these forums. It's people like you who make the LEGO community look unwelcoming to people like me who enjoy both LEGO and MB.
  5. Yeah, cuz a LEGO version would totally be worth nearly $100 more. #Sarcasm.
  6. Please, we both know that if lego made this, they'd charge well over $250.
  7. And what exactly are these "crap figures" you speak of?
  8. It does. I'm trying to figure out what those giant purple masses on his legs are and how some of the beast parts are attached, especially the Lava Beast head.
  9. Yes, Mega Bloks. And it's awesome that they have Star Trek.
  10. I'd honestly like to see LEGO drop the whole robot/bio-mech thing for a while. Aanchir mentioned a line markerted to girls on the last page. That would be welcome in my book for a constraction line. I'd like to see something along the lines of the failed "Constraction Line for Girls" project that was posted LEGO Cuusoo (before it became LEGO Ideas), where the characters are basically fairies and other mystical types, but with armor and weapons. I wouldn't mind seeing constraction fairies with dresses and such though, but I'd expect LEGO to make a human-like foot piece though. Not all fairies wear shoes.
  11. If Lego ditches full constraction lines entirely, I may just ditch Lego entirely. While I like the figures of their system lines, there aren't constant waves of them, which makes them less desirable in my opinion.
  12. But LEGO got their designs from Kiddicraft, so by your logic, you shouldn't be supporting LEGO either.
  13. Slizers and Throwbots are same line.
  14. If their past Signature Series sets are anything to go by, specifically the Scarab, which had no stand, the drooping you forsee will be nonexistent.
  15. One little problem with your statement, MB's build quality is now equal to that of LEGO. Also, personally, I think SW would be better with MB, seeing as they actually improve and market entire lines toward collectors, whereas LEGO doesn't.
  16. Looks so much better. Is there enough clearance for the jaw to sit any higher, or is the mask in the way?
  17. I use an XACTO knife and cut above the ziplock on the back while making sure it doesn't cut through the front.
  18. Those friction extenders are going on his knees to make his upper and lower legs equal in length once I get my hands on him.
  19. I honestly like the whole jaw thing, though I'd like the jaws more if the could properly close. Oh well, I'm sure people here will be coming up with ways of doing such. In regards to the Mask Of Control, the jaw being gunmetal I can deal with. It's those black technic connectors that bug me. Really wish lego made them in gold.
  20. The head will be folded onto Ekimu's back. Recently used Kopaka as a test subject after I took off Melum's gearing construct. Also, in order to give Ekimu the "piece of unity", he'll be getting the same shoulder construction as Tahu.
  21. It's not for perching. It's for uniting.
  22. Basically. No white parts though.
  23. I actually plan on making Ekimu's falcon a blue version of Ikir with the gold feather parts for his wings.
  24. Waste of platic if you ask me.
  25. "needless to say Megabloks suck" It's comments like this and the overall general bias against the brand that makes Adult MB fans avoid lego forums. Lego might have been the superior back in our childhood days, but even back then I found MB's offerings more interesting. Today, I find MB to be the superior product. Now, I'd personally like to own more brick based Lego sets, but currently the only Lego sets that interest me are their CCBS offerings.
