  1. Nope. He's sleeping along with Ekimu. Though I am interested in who it is.
  2. Well, Pohatu being the strongest is a throwback to the original, as the Po-Matoran were physically the strongest.
  3. According to BS01, it was called the "vision mask" and it had a completely different design from the Ignika in the game. http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/File:VNOLG_Vision_Mask.png
  4. Why would Takanuva need to be Special Edition?
  5. Yeah. It'd be preferable if the hulk chest was tampographed.
  6. If they were matoran, they'd have names. And different masks. Why would they give us unnamed matoran? Protectors- most likely robotic drones.
  7. Well, hopefully we do. And possibly some different Toa. Maybe even a female fire user to give Tahu a run for his money?
  8. I'm fairly sure the Protectors are just robotic combat drones. Hence the same mask and no names.
  9. Homestly, how is somebody going to steal a mold. I work in a plastics plant, and you can't move plastic molds by hand, unless LEGO molds are that small, which I doubt. You need a crane to lift them. So, I fail to see what burying them accomplishes. It better be discontinued. It serves no purpose. Combine this and the fact that LEGO doesn't keep parts in production after they have no need for them (even though they should for replacement purposes) and it seems LEGO makes some questionable business decisions that aren't very beneficial. Also, if LEGO has production plants in other locations contracted(not owned by LEGO), I doubt those plants follow that practice. Hey, LEGO, do your customers a favor. Dig them out, or get new molds for those parts, and run them for replacements, same goes for any other discontinued components.
  10. Which brings me to this question: This notion, which I don't believe at all, that LEGO destroys or buries old molds, who started that?
  11. You shouldn't hope for a new building system. Especially one that's closer to the old one. Last I checked, LEGO doesn't step backwards. When used in the right way, CCBS is more versatile than the old system and making it closer to the older system would defeat the purpose of CCBS being used for all action figures as well as it's long-term implementation. We may see minor changes, but nothing that takes away from why the CCBS was designed to begin with. Mind you, I'm strictly referring to the base skeleton. We may see more specialized shells somewhere down the line. We already have a new shell add-on that most likely won't be used anywhere else, we have a brand new head, with eye stalks, made specifically for the new sets, specialized weapons that fit the BIONICLE aesthetic, and of course, gearboxes.
  12. There are only supposedly 18 sets for the entirety of 2015. 13 of them are all the winter set, which leaves only 5 sets for the summer. If this is indeed the case, those 5 sets will most likely be in the $25-$30 range.
  13. Better not be Teridax. That's one thing from the old story that we don't need. EDIT: Accidentally posted respone within the quote. Fixed.
  14. But there's a skull spider swimming right in front of her.
  15. Hey, the Mistika were awesome. Plus, if you're going to complain about all their silver, the Phantoka were mostly grey.
  16. That's awfully close to saying "GregF IS BIONICLE". He isn't. Him not being on the story team doesn't mean it's automatically horrible.
  17. Alright, we really need to stop using "reboot" to describe settings. It has a broad meaning and gets confusing. I recommend specifics like "remake", "continuation" and "alternate timeline/universe". A reboot could be any of those. So, to anyone who wants a reboot, as it's clearly some type of reboot, I ask you this. What type? Personally, I want it to be the continuation type. Not a direct pick up of the old story, far enough to bring in new fans, but not too far so as to alienate old ones with some subtle references.
  18. All this talk has made my irritation of having not yet received my Sep-Oct Lego Magazine resurface. If Lego implemented that "No lego magazine over 13" policy I'm gonna be extremely ****ed off!
  19. CCBS' "dull formula" as you call it is the effect of the system being made to cover ALL LEGO action figures, not just one theme.
  20. You can split his lava board into 2 larger blades for him to hold,
  21. There are indeed two of the technic ball connected to the gearbox. The outer ball is for her shoulder whereas the inner ball is using a trans-blue version of the smallest ccbs joint to support the shoulder pads.
  22. To all who are asking where Onua and the Protectors are, just2good's video stated he'll try to have them up by the end of the week.
  23. Once again, Gali's axe blades become flippers, this time with turbines.
