Thanks for the comments folks! The colourscheme I tried to copy from Cheeseslopes orc tower, which suits the orcs well indeed. I didn't quite manage to copy the style as much as I wanted because I lack in dark grey, dark tan and he uses a different orange. My collections is a bit too classic somethimes. Cheeseslopes orc tower My next creation will have the black knights (black/light bley) colourscheme again, but it will probably take another 2 months to complete.

Thanks for keeping the honour of our guild up, folks, during the challenge XI. And welcome Captain Nemo to our malicious guild! I believe the Black Falcons will find themselves in the perfect spot here. I only managed to complete my first build for the challenge, Black Knights seeking an alliance with the Orcs. My second build, the evil wizards castle is still in progress and will be for a long time. It will be published when I'm satisfied with the result. Just to let you know that the Black Knights haven't abandonned GoH. They are still making schemes in the shadows..

We could have fancy tournaments, talent shows or election. But we all know that the price goes to the highest bidder. I believe kaliphlins have a good shot at the title here, lord damaxmus. Just make sure to poison all your brothers and sisters, like in good nocturnian tradition

Beautiful castle! Lots of interesting stuff and great attention to detail. The overal design is excellent, love how its angeled and high over river. The SoT style suits well. I don't mind seeing that more often. And ofcourse very neat bridge design!

I always believed it was an eye. But now that you've mentioned it: it does have quite a few similarties with another body part. @ Dr. Cogg: Every Nocturnians knows Nocturnus is most advanced sciencewise. For starters, we have the most academic titles of whole historica and we are prepared/willing and enjoying to make the necessary sacrefices. The point is, every general who's performed some study of the wise Sun Tzu, knows: a display of strength like Avalonia, actually shows weakness. That's one of the reasons why we don't have inter-guild contest and are briljant at keeping up appearances as being a small guild. Sun Tzu says: "Hiding order beneath the cloak of disorder is simply a question of subdivision; masking strength with weakness is to be effected by tactical dispositions." Tu Mu says: "If our force happens to be superior to the enemy's, weakness may be simulated in order to lure him on; but if inferior, he must be led to believe that we are strong, in order that he may keep off. In fact, all the enemy's movements should be determined by the signs that we choose to give him." Unless ofcourse, Avalonia is showing strength in order to pretent to be weak and thus fooling into believing they are weak, whilst they are strong I'm off to my ivory tower to perform some more research on the matter!

I always found that a bit harsch, taking his life over a sword... You'd better stay in mitgardia for a while! Noctunus is a bit of dark, evil, lava, swamp, mysterious and so on. Gothic would probably fall in that category. Nordic saga is definantly mitgardia. But, you are quite free to do or build whatever you prefer. Except for the colours and some figure, like green armes at mitgardia and gold/red flags for nocturnus. Welcome to GoH
