Has anyone else opened a Flain that was missing its eyes? Our Lego store mentioned they didn't have any because thye got a shipment without eyes.

I was surprised too. This ought to have made a top 10 list.

My son (who is 6.5) struggles to find the piece he is looking for if there are more than about 80 pcs there. We look for sets with the multiple bags to enable him to build the larger sets. I'm sure as he gets older this process will be easier (And I'm trying to teach him to sort by color, etc) But for now, the numbered bags are quite nice and help keep him from getting too frustrated when building.

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality

I am REALLY hoping for the Birds set to be made. I want to buy one to give to my mom (I might have to make it for her. I'm not sure she would, left to her own devices) And I can get a second (assuming a reasonable price of $30-50) for my best friend. And I'm sure I can come up with more given half a chance. -
Wow. I'm amazed to see a mention of my hometown on these International pages! I'll have to go take a look at the inspiration while I'm there for the easter egg hunt in a couple of weeks!

I guess I figure that minidolls are more expensive than minifigs for them to make. SO yes. They are not equivalently populating the sets. Given.

I actually thought this set looked like the Horse Trailer set (which retails for $25 if I recall? One minifigure because it had the horse.) Many Friends sets at the $25 price point have two minidolls. (Butterfly Beauty Ship, Heartlake News Van) At $50 (High School) you get 3 minidolls. The Riding Camp (at $100) had 4! And 3 horses

A microscope! Aigh! Yee :) Not much of a lab otherwise :( But there are a lot of animals and hrms.

We've only filled one -- and spiled one. It's what happens when you are keeping track of a 6 year old and a 2 year old while trying to do it.

Trying to build the Knight Bus with spare parts [Harry Potter?] [MOC?]
Sarah replied to Herbnosis's topic in LEGO Licensed
interesting! I've been thinking of doing the same thing -- but using this set to make a London-like double decker in red instead! So it was very interesting to see someone else do iT! -
No... The cattle car does not look like the ones I see. They are closed cars -- but with holes between the slats.

The cargo train is VERY American. That's part of the appeal for me! I see this Train running around the tracks where I live here in Texas all the time. Including the cow! (only one cow, more's the pity).

The position and future of Friends and minidolls in Lego?
Sarah replied to Dorayaki's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think Lego would be better off NOT drawing a strict line between fantasy and Science fiction. The literature I can think of that appeals most to a wide base of teenage girls that is technically science fiction is not really in-your-face about its futuristic nature. (Pern, Hunger Games, Divergent. Maybe Matched -- another dystopia like Divergent) -
Have we seen anything new about a Jungle Treehouse or another laboratory?

I was at a Barnes & Noble yesterday (in Round Rock, TX) that had an extensive line of architecture Studio Lego sets. They were shelved with the board games.

LEGO shouldn't make new parts for a year?

The Lego Friends slide has already been used in multiple sets. It was in the Silver Mine Shootout as well as the Dolphin Cruiser and Heartlake Pool (And it appears to be used in one of the Jungle sets as well) I'm not sure why they used a different slide in the Princess Play Castle. -
I LOVE that cat.

Anyone else see this cool photo series on Today? http://www.today.com/id/54536180

I've got a theory that Lego is having a bit of problem keeping up with demand. Completely selling out of Friends (when they didn't plan to) was part of it. All the new Movie and Mixels sets is also part of it. So they are having to juggle to keep everything in the air.

I'm watching for these too!

Who is watching and caring what you purchase in the stores? Also, you could order online and have it shipped to your door if you were afraid of gossip.

Probably still cheaper than the injuries trying to individually take them all apart?
