I totally know what you mean with that. While building it, I was going for the wave effects and not necessarily making it humanoid in shape. When I was finally happy with the design I went to the rest of the build. After finishing the rest, I looked at the elemental and thought there was no way I could photograph it properly. So, I bumped him up 2 more studs in height and started to try to photograph. In person, the light catches on the trans-clear cheese slopes on the wave crests beautifully, but I just couldn't get that to translate in to the photos. Plus it was still hard to get the right angle to photograph the front of the elemental with all those peksy cliffs, trees, people and structures in the build

I love the micro castle in this build....not as small as many micros tend to be, and that way it is able to have more detail yet still small enough to actually be the background!

I'm very intrigued by the coastal town...I'd love to see you make a full build of the town some time. Since we all have so much free time to just build and ignore everything else that shouldn't take long right

Very unique idea Rolli! I think that you have outdone your roof technique with this one! THe staggered look that you have in here tops your previous roof builds, and those were amazing to begin with!

Wow, what a great entry for the contest(again!) I like your take on the micro version of the build. The micro is the majority of the build, and it really works with that huge Phoenix!

Wow! Great entry, I love the water effects for this elemental. Actually the structure is so amazingly different from other Mitgardian outposts, I'd love to see a build just based on this port before it was destroyed(or after it is rebuilt )

Sorry to hear you guys aren't feeling well. That being said, you still have some great features in this build. I think the flippers as the sail looks fantastic on this ship!

We're running out of time guys, how many more entries do we have coming for Kaliphlin? I know of 2 so far, but Avalonia is up to like 5 with more coming. We have a good chance here to close the gap even further!

I agree with the others on that dark blue house...it was the first thing that caught my eye here! But the fact that it dug out Quinn's body.....I was ready to send a Kaliphlin delegation to help defeat this defiler!

Sorry for the national mishap there! For some reason I had thought I read somewhere that you played on the Croation national soccer team...I'm getting old though, my mind is fuzzy. As for Salvatore, I'm not sure who I'd compare him to. His books read easy, but he puts a lot more detail in to fight scenes and the tactics involved there than many other authors do. I agree, that you should start with Homeland if you do read them.

I absolutely love this build! This is totally how I envision Avalonia. I saw this on my phone this morning, but it takes too long to type on that, so I had to wait until after work....but it gave me an excuse to check this out again!

Awesome build Z! I love the idea of the PF in this, I had wanted to put some LED lighting into mine, but it hasn't shown up yet. The shaking tower is fantastic, but the best part of the MOC is the dude crying and drinking in the house.

Damaximus I envision it near the Western borders by the Withered Woods, somewhere along the coast there....I'll have to look at the map and solidify that soon! deGothia, Mikel and Angeli Thanks guys!
