LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors

Maybe Pong Krell doesn't have a beard but he does have some kind of facial hair action under his mouth. -
What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?

The AT-RT is a really nice set but it's way out of scale. I would get 1 AT-RT and a couple more Clone BPs. -

I was really looking forward to May the 4th this year but with the rumors of an exclusive Han Solo minifigure, I've lost some interest. Maybe when we have more information and pictures, I'll get more excited. -
For May the 4th, LEGO does the same thing with the promo minifig (Shadow ARF, TC-14, etc). If you ever check the mailing invoice, it shows the minifig has a value of like $4.99 (no sure if the price is correct). Anyhow, I was lucky enough to get a LEGO Valentines. Too bad I won't see it until 2015.

Wow, really? It's hard to understand posts such as yours that don't follow rules of grammar, punctuation, proper capitalization and sentence structure. Maybe if you did, other members would have an easier time understanding the meaning behind your posts. It shouldn't be a challenge for anyone to understand. -

This was a very good episode. The action and pacing throughout this episode was excellent. I particularly enjoyed seeing the Turbo Tank, one of my favorite vehicles. -

Have to agree, a Clone Lieutenant is too plain. The past few years, May the 4th has brought us unique minifigs that you just can't Bricklink the parts to. I'm getting a little anxious now that May the 4th is being mentioned. -
A new person at work turned out to be a giant Star Wars nut. I knew he liked the Hasbro 3-3/4 figures then I asked him if he was into LEGO and we hit it off. Unfortunately I now live and work at a different location. We still keep in touch though.

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors

There are plenty of minfigs that don't fit in sets. I stopped trying to make sense of this years ago. Minifigs are ever evolving, I find it doubtful that LEGO will ever release a definitive minifig. -

When Maul first returned in TCW, his robotic (chicken) legs did make him taller. I believe taller than Savage Oppress. When he was on Mandalore, Pre Vizsla and Death Watch gave him robotic legs that made him more of his normal size (shorter than Savage). To be accurate, at this particular point in the show that's depicted, he was not that tall. Does this detail mean anything to LEGO? Absolutely not as we all know how any character can just about appear in any set. This inaccuracy means nothing in the big scheme of things. -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

In AotC, there were clones that had a visor that I thought was silver due to a glare. When I saw the clones in this set, this immediately came to mind. Update: Just checked the movie and there are times where there is a glare to the clone visors but it's with all of them. -

Thanks for the link to that video. Aside from what we already knew, here's what I found interesting: Adi Galia Separatist Bounty Hunter Special Forces Clone Trooper Not impressed by any of the vehicles as they seem rather average. Looks like the minifigs will be the highlight of most of these sets. -

This is a rumor discussion and I believe what everyone is discussing is a rumor. I hope these rumors pan out. -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion

I really doubt Ahsoka will fall at the hand of Anakin, but I can see him playing a part in it and feeling responsible. He places a lot of the blame on himself when it comes to those that he cares about. -
I wasn't too crazy about all the spin-offs that Marvel did, they all had a "B" movie feel to me. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the way The Avengers turned out. Overall the approach that was taken for the Marvel franchise worked and paid off. I'm not convinced that this will work with Star Wars. I remain very optimistic though.

I also find it aggravating, but my kids and their friends don't seem to mind. They don't have an issue mixing Phase I and II clones and all minifigs in general.

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors

Since she was killed by Maul, I think the chances of her being made in LEGO have gone down but then again LEGO has given us Even Piell and Nahdar Vebb despite their deaths. Personally I hope LEGO makes the right decision and places her in a future set. There's definitely a lot of potential from that Maul arc. -

To me Maul's return was interesting and it brought a lot of attention to the show. I too was disappointed in the way he submitted to Sidious. In all reality, he probably knew he had a small chance with Savage at his side and once Sidious killed him, he knew his powers were no match for that of his Master. I wish there would've been another story arc involving Maul and Savage, one showing the two of them face the Jedi. The true scope of Palpatine's power is a mystery. He is extremely powerful in the ways of the force and we were lucky that he chose to wield his lightsabers in battle. -

As much of a CW fan I am, I am happy to get some non CW sets to get some new and different Phase I Clones. With the CW sets moving into Phase II armor, I doubt we'll get anymore CW Phase I Clones, at least for awhile. Hopefully the plain Clones show up in more of the future sets. -

Vizsla and Death Watch completely underestimated Maul and Savage because of the ease in which they were able to capture them. Maul was calculating every move and knew when to make his move against Vizsla. -
Really? I have to wait until 2015 to see a Star Wars movie in theater?

I would put € on a particular character getting killed. It's a given to me since a certain other character returned recently. -

If it came down to a choice between a Kashyyyk Treetop or Ewok Village set, I would have to pick the Kashyyyk set. An Ewok village just doesn't appeal to me. With a Kashyyyk set, I could re-enact Yoda decapitating some clones. -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
Sir_Basil_Ashton replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Shades of Reason was an outstanding episode. I agree that the past two episodes seemed a tad rushed but they are in reality the 2nd and 3rd episodes of this story arc. The duel between Vizsla and Maul was the highlight of Season 5 thus far. Absolutely memorable, I couldn't imagine it ending any other way. Vizsla showed us why he was the leader of Death Watch, too bad he was battling a superior opponent. At least he held his own against Maul, it had to end the way it did though. I can't wait until next week. I'm not sure if we'll see Obi-Wan in Mandalorian armor and a Maul/Savage vs. Darth Sidious battle all in the same episode. That would definitely seem rushed.
