  1. KielDaMan, Thanks for putting those statistics together. I love all Star Wars and since this is the so called "Clone Wars Era", I believe the set distribution has been fair. I firmly believe that the LEGO Star Wars theme would have ended years ago if The Clone Wars was never released. I love that I can sit down with my kids and see/watch new Star Wars material together.
  2. After a slow LEGO Star Wars year for me in 2012, 2013 is looking like it's going to make up for it. With that being said, I can't wait til someone posts some high-res pics of the sets so I can get a better look at the Phase II Clones.
  3. I like LEGO Batman for the more complex builds of the vehicles. To me LEGO DC Universe is a nice line with a ton of potential. To me the builds seem to be aimed towards a younger audience and towards the minifig collectors. I'd really like to see new Batman sets that aren't remakes of the original LEGO Batman line.
  4. Goodness. My son is going to go crazy when he sees this completed. The Utapau landing platform is his favorite part of EPIII.
  5. This is my 3rd year in the same league. Results: 1st-year- 9th out of 10 2nd-year- 2nd out of 12 (lost in the championship) 3rd-year - Record 4-2 at the moment (had a horrible draft due to connectivity) I could easily be 5-1 but there was a couple of games that I shouldn't have won.
  6. I enjoyed Front Runners and think it was a good way to build on the first episode of this arc. Droids on their own have proven to be ineffective against a trained enemy. I'm expecting the next couple episodes to be action packed and I can see either Steela or Saw being killed in battle.
  7. Completed Darth Plagueis last night, It was a pretty easy read and I really liked how it tied into events in The Phantom Menace.
  8. I hope the AT-RT is from the 501st and the Umbaran episodes. It would be nice to see LEGO release a set from the previous season of TCW.
  9. Thanks for the clip. Good to see the Republic Attack Shuttle. I really like it. Hopefully we get to see it in combat this season.
  10. Maybe the Jedi Temple can be done similarly to the LotR set The Mines of Moria. Maybe some big pillars to give it some play-ability.
  11. I wasn't expecting Obi-Wan to be so proficient in using 2 lightsabers simultaneously. It was a pleasant surprise. Obi-Wan was never given any credit as a swordsman the way Anakin was. He never lost any limbs in a duel. Although I think Count Dooku could have easily done so on different occasions.
  12. Hey, how about a set like Attack on the Jedi Temple? I believe in all the Season 5 previews we've seen, the Jedi Temple sees some action.
  13. What's the world coming to? I felt a little weird watching Season 5, Episode 1 on YouTube. I guess I don't really have a choice since I now live in Italy. I have to say the episode was a really nice way to kick off the new season. I was pretty upset that I missed this Episode since I went to Celebration VI on Saturday and not Friday. It was well worth the wait. I read somewhere that this wasn't supposed to be the 1st episode of Season 5. I feel it was a good way to tie Seasons 4 and 5 together.
  14. I hope this pans out to be true. I really hope LEGO releases some sets to coincide with the 3D releases of both movies.
  15. I don't think it's fair to solely blame Filoni. At least I don't believe he's the one making all of the calls on character backstories and fates. Although I'm not particularly fond with the fact that there are continuity issues, it doesn't bother me all that much since I haven't read any on the books or comics that most of you speak of. I do agree with your statement that "If Star Wars is going to remain a good and respectable franchise, it must first solve its continuity problems."
  16. From reading posts I know I'm a very very lone minority with this opinion... I really don't care for an Ewok Village or anything Ewok. I haven't purchased any of the Endor sets in the past couple of years and won't unless I find those sets at 50% off or higher. To me they are the Gungans of the OT.
  17. I knew he said that. I'm laughing because since he said that, he should have aimed higher the 2nd time. Of course this is speculation on my part.
  18. I though that too. Why didn't he aim higher?
  19. I noticed Maul still had his chicken legs during this duel. Maybe they get damaged, prompting the newer, shorter ones.
  20. I'm open for remakes if there are drastic improvements from the original set. I am definitely against re-releasing the same identical set. With UCS sets, I am against LEGO re-releasing a set. I mean come on, they're made out of bricks. If you really wanted a set you missed out on, you could make the set out of LEGO. If anything, I would want LEGO to re-release some of the sticker sheets to sets. The bricks itself will last a long time. The stickers, that's a different story.
  21. Thanks for sharing a clip yet again. Maul does have smaller legs now, which do look a lot better on him. I really can't wait for Season 5 to start.
  22. At this point, I want to army build 501st and 212th clones in Phase 2 armor.
  23. I'd love a Phase 2 Commander Cody but I'm not overly annoyed. I'd rather LEGO take their time and make an awesome minifigure than rush and make a minifigure that fans won't like.
  24. And another superpack that makes no sense. I wish LEGO placed 3 sets that actually go together.
  25. I'm also very curious how the CW Phase II helmets will look. I'm expecting them to look similar to the ARC minifig. I have a decent amount of Phase I Clones and I'm looking forward to building a decent army of Phase II Clones.
