Last year Amazon had the new sets listed for pre-order with a ship date of 1-Jan. If I remember correctly the sets actually shipped before the 1st.

Thanks for the review. As of right now I'm unsure how much I'll like the minifigs in this battlepack. The colour just looks a little off to me. I'll have to make official judgement when I have them in hand. I will get at least 1 of this set.

I liked LEGO as a child although I only had a handful of sets. My biggest LEGO regret is ignoring the fact that I really wanted to buy LEGO Star Wars sets when they first came out. I regret not starting earlier. Looking back, I may have never married had I started sooner.

Welcome, glad to see your question on colors has been answered. When my family first got into LEGO a few years ago, we were confused when we purchased older sets/lots that had the different shades of grey. It was irritating but we were able to move past it.

If I were in your shoes, I would purchase the set as soon as it's in your budget again. Hopefully it's still around.

Nice review. A very good improvement over its predecessor. This is a definite buy for me.

My family got 10188 back in 2009 and it the minifig heads had the solid black eyes. The newer ones have the white pupils.

Your opinion has already been proven wrong by posts on this page but again, it's your opinion. On behalf of my son and his friend, they like the play features of the new blasters. I'll see if they hold this opinion after they finally get to play with it.

If I think about it really long and to the point where my head starts to hurt I can almost understand why people are upset about the new blasters. I wonder how many of these same people were opposed to LEGO adding flick-fire missiles years ago. I may never fully understand it but there's nothing wrong with toys having play features.

Mission Impossible 3. Hadn't seen it in a few years and it just so happened to be the only thing on worth watching.

That unique minifig will be enough for me to purchase the set but it won't be enough for me to buy multiple sets and army build.

So excited to hear the new sets are hitting stores. The anticipation is almost unbearable but they'll be here soon enough though. Then the army building will begin.

If that's the case, then I would pass. For a few dollars more, you can get the BP w/ 3 more minifigs and a comparable small vehicle.
