4 months ... wow.... took me a while :) Anyways, here's the finished product I took broadcloth, ironed it to get the kinks out, applied (lots) of the anti fraying liquid, then cut out with scissors using the stencil and punched holes using my harbor freight hole punch. Afterwards I applied another layer of the anti fraying liquid and... voila :) I think I'm happy with the results... considering I can make couple dozen of them: bought 1 foot of the cloth and a two pack of the liquid and used a 50% off coupon (@ JoAnn's Fabrics) on each item :D

Mainly looking to trade. Potentially interested in the complete minifig, though don't need accessories.

Getting ready to sell some mini fig's
Ludzik replied to Andy D's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I use bubble envelope and have them shipped as large envelope. If I have more then one mini fig in the envelope, I repack them into another layer of bubble wrap (be carfeul not to gain thickness) to isolate them from each other. I havent had any issues shipping them worldwide and they always arrive in great shape. Bubble envelopes will run you .5 to dollar each. Oh yeah post office might want to charge you for parcel which makes international shipping cost at times double.... Read rules for large envelopes on their website and be ready to argue your point at the counter :) -
In a need of a few good men... err... torsos :)
Ludzik replied to Ludzik's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
LOL I actually might have found some myself ;) Took a lot of searching as things get expensive once you add head, helmet, legs, shield and weapon ;) -
specifically ones similar to this one: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=cas460 It does not have to have this helmet or head (or have them at all) but I would prefer for them to have those legs. Interested in up to 8 (maybe even 12 depending on the deal) of them? OR interested in up to 12 identical ones, non sigiled - prefer with printing front and back. Prefer to trade (see here http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=83493&hl=ludzik ) but open to buying them (shhh don't tell my whife :) ) In addition to the stuff in my trade list I also have a pair of orcs from the black gate set and a princess http://www.brickset.com/minifigs/?m=cas515, also would be willing to trade some crownies for those torsos as well . oh yeah, I'm US (SoCal) based Thanks

Which time zone? :) -
I have total of 5. Looking to get $6 each + cost of shipping. Will ship to anywhere in the world. Here's some rough ideas on the cost of shipping: let me know though how many you want and where to and I will get you a detailed price. US shipping is fairly cheap (i.e shipping one in us runs $1, then depending on how many you want, it doesn't go up too much as they weight very little) UK shipping is also reasonable: shipping of 3 polybags is $8 which means 3 polybags shipped to UK run $26 total

Found couple CMFs - edited above to reflect that.

Took advantage of plenty of other people's trade threads (as in made deals with them) that I think it's time to start my own :) All items here are available for trade (or if you like something and don't have anything to trade I am open to offers :D ). I will trade anywhere in the world but depending on where you're at it might need to be a bigger trade in order to make best use of shipping. I have successfully completed transactions as far out as New Zealand (btw, Kiwis! Contact chrome and complain.... chrome marks Zealand as a typo!) - Btw, I'm located in SoCal (US) Have's (for trade or sale) 3x 2x 30213 Gandalf http://brickset.com/...il/?set=30213-1 1x 30231 Galaxy Squad Space Insectoid http://brickset.com/...il/?set=30231-1 1x 30151 Minig Dozer http://brickset.com/...il/?set=30151-1 1x 30152 Mining Quad http://brickset.com/...il/?set=30152-1 5x 30111 The Lab http://brickset.com/...il/?set=30111-1 6x 30220 Fire Speedboat http://brickset.com/...il/?set=30220-1 1x 8588 Rahkshi Kurahk http://brickset.com/detail/?set=8588-1 1x 8591 Rahkshi Vorahk http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=8591-1 3x white skeleton minifig http://brickset.com/minifigs/?m=cas328 2x white skeleton horse 1x black skeleton minifig http://brickset.com/minifigs/?m=cas327 1x black skeleton horse 1x Troll Warrior http://brickset.com/minifigs/?m=cas368 1x mummy warrior http://brickset.com/minifigs/?m=pha011 1x 4643 Power Boat Transporter http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=4643-1 1x 3661 Bank and money transfer http://brickset.com/detail/?set=3661-1 2x 8077 Atlantis Exploration HQ http://brickset.com/detail/?set=8077-1 Series 4 Hazmat Guy http://brickset.com/minifigs/?m=col061 Series 6 Statue of LIberty http://brickset.com/.../?query=liberty Series 8 Footbal Player http://brickset.com/...h/?query=col117 Series 9 Roman Emperor http://brickset.com/minifigs/?m=col133 Wants Castle/Kingdoms/LOTR minifigs sets, polybags and parts.... for example: black helms, various shields, silver helms, great swords, saddles/horses, mini axes (http://www.bricklink...em.asp?P=94158f), capes

RaincloudDustbin Trade Thread...

No worries :) I didn't even notice your reply till I saw the PM :) Anyways... PM incoming. -
Thanks! that's a really nice and comprehensive list of all of the shields and sigils. I like the slitherin color scheme but the snake... hmmm gonna have to ponder that one. I wish that lego made more of the shields in both ovoid and triangle shapes....

Waterslide decals are an option... and I keep meaning to "try" that route, though I am yet to find someplace local the good decal paper (and I hate to pay half in shipping for something just to try it out :( ). Oh yeah, I'm a cheap SOB :) (ok, not really: just on a budget :D ). Anyways, got my two extra forestman shields, put them on the figs that are guarding castle walls and was disappointed: one fig outfitted on a trial basis with the shield looked good... but the 4 of them on the wall with those shields didn't fit right.... oh well, my small band of elfs just got more shields :) This puts me back to square one. I think that the wall guards "look" better with the orc shield . I wish they were more available/cheaper and that there was a better selection of ovoid shields :)

RaincloudDustbin Trade Thread...
Ludzik replied to RaincloudDustbin's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
You can't receive PM's...... -
So in a way this will probably just start as an outloud thinking but I hope it will get me on a path and comments will help me get someplace :) As I'm building my castle (or rather a large keep) and manning it with troops I'm trying (on a budget) to outfit the troops with arms and part of that is shields..... This means I am not going to go on a buying spree to get multiple shields of the same type just to outfit my troops. Having said that, while I like the old lion shields I don't have any of them (just 3 torsos) and the newer ones don't really tickle my fancy. Granted I have a fair amount of troops that I could use (ok, for me fair amount is 9 footmen and 3 mounted) BUT they just feel wrong for me. Next group that I have plenty of is the crownies (17 footmen and 2 mounted) but they feel too common. So I started to look at various other groups that I have and decided that if I go with a theme I could bring various sigils (as long as they follow a pattern of sorts) and use the various sigils to mark various ranks and "duty stations". So, the lord of the keep is using his family crest and his three close companions (3) use for their shields. I figured that the color scheme is neutral but since it's on a green background (ok, yeah, I know.. they are of a different shade). The 4 (lets call them) high guard soldiers (4) have been issued these shieldswhich follows again the pattern of green background and assuming that my keep is in a wooded area the stag, the tree and the green round shield are appropriate for each other. I also have two of the old forestman shieldsand picked up two more for just shipping (had a $5 coupon for Ebay :) ) making them potentially the shield for my castle (wall) guards. I also have 3 of the orc shields that are perfect for some ground troops. This leaves me with a dilemma: I have total of 11 ground troops - 8 with a sigil on their shields, 3 with plain gray shields and I have 4 mounted. Since I have started with the rarer shields it could get expensive to outfit more troops. On the other hand I'm wondering if there are other shields that I can "fit" into the pattern. Oh yeah, I'm not a big fan of the small triangle shields: someone the ovoid ones offer a "fuller" look to my troops.... Well, I guess that's enough of my 'crazy' musings :) I hope that someone will point me to a shield that is somewhat common and decently priced that will fit my need :) edit - oh yeah, I forgot to add that I'm considering getting some of these though sadly they are triangular :(

When I ship lego sets I make my own boxes ;) I first wrap in bubble wrap the original lego box and then I cut and fold cardboard to size. OH yeah, and cardboard is easy to get if you keep a sharp eye out.... We bought a piece of furniture and it came in a big box which I saved, neighbours bought a tv and didn't need the box... etc.... The brown paper over bubble wrap is a hit and miss... if they don't mistreat the package when shipping then you're good if it gets tossed the wrong way, it can get impaled on another box..... I know... someone sent me a package wrapped that way.... thankfully I didn't care about the box....
