GBC General Discussion
Yiharua replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi! In my case I dont buy specific sets for GBCs. I just buy the sets that I enjoy building and playing with, and then I use them in GBCs. That happens most of the times. 2 years ago or so there was a Lego Technic model of an excavator, and I bought two of them becouse of the chains (FOr the use in Lego GBCs) but I eventually I have never used them... The only piece I buy specificly for GBCs are the Lego Sport balls. Those are a basic, although you can replace them for beads necklace (Which can be bought at your local oriental provider :D)- 1,124 replies

Fanti, Elephant Love (also nicknamed the Ineffable Elephant for its curious characteristics) opted to appear in public at the HispaLUG Expo 2013, in the heart of the Singular Constructions group, right next to his panda friends . Fanti, The Elephant In Love por YiharuaF, en Flickr His eyes and his faces are quite funny! Fanti, The Elephant In Love por YiharuaF, en Flickr Fanti, The Elephant In Love por YiharuaF, en Flickr In fact, he has many different faces. Let´s see the magic trick. Removing his first face we can see the interior, what we could call Fanti Walrus or Fanti Spider Fanti, The Elephant In Love por YiharuaF, en Flickr Our favourite Elephant is playful, she is always moving the tail or sitting down to recieve petting. All the rails you have made work for normal GBCs except for the bottom right type. The normal GBC balls pass trhough that piece. I hope I have helped you!- 1,124 replies

GBC General Discussion

Hi! Amazing initiative! Here you have the biggest Lego GBC index I know so far: There are more than 100 GBCs: http://yiharuablog.w...m/tag/lego-gbc/ Almost every single GBC published since late 2011 has been posted to my blog. I hope it helps you. My own modules are also between those topics, but you have them here as well: Another interesting article could be this one. Tips for Lego GBC making: http://yiharuablog.w...ego-gbc-making/ And finally, if you are interested in alternatives for lego GBC balls, you should check this article: (Spanish, English and Portuguese) http://www.blastem.e...llar-beads.html I would be greatful to help ;)- 1,124 replies

[GBC] See-Saw
Yiharua replied to LegoGBC's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Congrats for the module ;) -
I can only post one thing: On the left, the beads you get with the same money of 16 GBC balls. The disadvantages are minor. You have to keep in mind that if the beads are stucked another bead will pass and move it. I prefer beads, although I have GBC balls and use them as well. If you are starting with GBCs and dont want to expend a lot in balls, buy beads. ;)

[GBC] Jumper Module
Yiharua replied to Yiharua's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
In Spain we deleted that thing that you call GEMA (We called it SGAE, and their bosses were corrupt, as everybody here...) some years ago. Fortunately. Only 1 M motor and a battery box or conexion to the electricity ;). -

[GBC] Jumper Module
Yiharua replied to Yiharua's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thank you all fot commenitng. I am glad you like it. Try it and see how it works. It is the only way ;). Thank you very much! It may looks as one of akiyukis :D. Yes it is my best module ever ;): -
An image is better than a thousand words: Today I present you my Lego GBC Jumper Module. Basically it consists of a bar connected to a shock absorver. When pressure is left, all the force is released and the ball is fired. This is so far the most complex GBC I have ever posted (There are many "big fails" that I will never publish... But much more complex). Besides this in that small space we can find two links going up and down and a ball remover. Apparently it has no errors. The only small problem happens when the ball is elevated. Sometimes it doesn´t fall to the launcher. I am very proud of this module. It has been many months in my mind, undergoing continuous changes, until I have solved them. In part, the previous module (Which you can see here) was made to cheer me up, because this was all a puzzle. The original idea for the kick launcher comes from Philip Verbeek (The European Akiyuki... He has some impressive GBCs. Ought to see them). The music of the video is owned by Alasdair Fraser. I hope you enjoy it. The article on my blog: http://yiharuablog.w...-jumper-module/

GBC - 5 Modules
Yiharua replied to nxtstep101's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Congrats for it! I remember seeing this video a while before... Anyway well done. :) -
Those balls that you bought can also be used in events. At NorteBrick 2013, in Spain, we had like 200 GBC balls and other 500 beads and we used both for the GBC modules. They worked as well as the "known ones". You can see it in this video:
