This is a nice house and it fits well with the Pet Shop. I like how you combined many bricks from HP Burrows into an 'ordinary' town house. The colour scheme is nice, and the interiors is great. I specifically like the roof and the combination of dark red and red slopes - it works well together. Well done, kciR.

Architecture Contest: Lyalya Tulpan mosque
Redhead1982 replied to viracocha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm not familiar with this building, but you made a nice replica of the mosque in LEGO. The minarets in the original have a different design, but that's hard to replicate with bricks on this scale. Anyway, well done! -
That's a great design of Tower Bridge in microscale. It looks fantastic with all the details, and fits with the Architecture series perfectly. Ski poles look great on the roof, and I wouldn't mind having a micro-scale one next to the official LEGO Tower Bridge. Well done!

REVIEW: 8831 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 7
Redhead1982 replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
A great thanks for this amazingly thorough review! My favourite minifigs from this series are most definitely the hippie with the torso and flowers, the bride for her dress, hair design and flowers, the scottish pipeman - for the pipe design and white underwear under the kilt, the swimmer and the tenis player, because of the new sport related accessories, grandma visitor for the basket, and the programmer for the torso desgin, printed cup and computer. So, I'm definitely getting these. -
Agreed! I'd add 'rubbish' in some interesting colours or maybe an 'old' bicycle in white.

Alex54, you have a very distinctive and beautiful building style. I must admit that I get a lot of inspiration from your buildings.

I like the furniture more than the car. It looks great to modify part of a car into a sitting area, I've seen it in some bars before. And the Cars parts are used nicely this way. Well done.

This is a wonderfully detailed exterior! I am amazed by the use of some bricks in SNOT style.

I like how the walls are a different combination of 'materials' - some stone, wood, and most of all the grills in green and blue. Also, inlcuding blue plates for the wall is great. The facade looks amazing with these details. Furthermore, the whole building is full of interesting details. The parking slots are interesting, and the Sushi sign. And the interiors is just as mind blowing. It's simply amazing!

I know it's a complicated name, but it's the one I'm familiar with from BL's inventories. Shhh, I told you to keep quiet with my future modular plans! And thanks for the compliments on the house.

The interior looks sweet. My favourite is the floor tiling and the counter. But, where are the yellow cups from above the coffe machine from? I haven't seen them before...

I've been watching your street for a while, and when looking at semi-built models, they really don't stand out. But putting them together in a street layout, they look amazing. And added stickers give extra life to them. Although I prefer LEGO stickers (if need be), your creations really look authentic. But what do you do once the layout is finished? Can you take the stickers off and reuse the bricks?

This is an interesting idea. I specifically like how you can add a drainage hole under the pavement. But on the other hand, this can be plate consuming.

I'm not an expert on carriages, but this scene looks perfect. The carriage is well built and together with the road and 'old-fashioned' lamp posts radiates the atmosphere of the era. Also, I'm not a fan of fleshies, but they fit extremely well in this scene. Well done.

This looks great! It has all the features of a 'Bag End'. The greenery gives it an nice cozy effect, and the wall's shape gives extra effect to this coziness. On the other hand, the interior is lovely with the furniture and a fireplace. Goodluck with MOCathlon.

Believe it or not, this was my first tree design. A couple years ago I built one in Medival Market Village (and mine looks lot like it), and that's it. And the stairs aren't my design, its Deborah's The tree in front of the Fire Brigade is very small, I considered it to put it out front, but didn't like it. But such smaller trees would look great in a row on the pavement or similar. I'm glad you all like the building.

The use of the bathroom has to be payed for. That's how the Corner house's owner is paying for the loan. I'll try and do my best to make a house with a bathroom next. But first, there's a need for some serious sorting.
-
Thanks for the comments, everyone! About the bathroom, LT, it's at the neighbours. I thought of including it, but there was no way to have a terace and a bathroom at the same time. For the moment, I'll be sorting my bricks for a while now. I made a mess while building the last two MOCs, ordering some BL and buying few Friends. And for after that, I have some ideas already.

B-RM-6B This time I'm presenting another 16 wide modular town house that was built in parallel with the Dark green town house, hence some of the similarities in the building style can be seen. It can be divided into a roof and 3 floors, all of them furnished. The first floor is the kitchen. Near the front door, there's a coat rack. Above the stove is a shelf with tin cans full of aromatic black tea, and my favourite blue cup. The second floor is my favourite, it's a living room with a small home office. On the other side of the wall, there are stairs leading to the third floor. This stairs were heavily inspired by amazing design of Flickr user Deborah Higdon, so all the credit goes to Deborah. I find this type of stairs amazing. They're made from panels, which are (too me at least) rather unuseful pieces, and on the other hand, they save some space and look more modern. On the third of floor, there's a bedroom with some wall decorations. From the bedroom, one can access one of my two favourite parts of the building, the terace with a view of the city. There's an umbrella with flexible stand, a chair and some flowers. My other best part of this house is the small balcony on the front side. I think it helps preventing the building from looking monotoneously dull. I'm far from mastering photography, but I do find this photo suitable for closing a post. There's more photos on my Flickr, MOC Pages and Brickshelf if anyone's interested.

This is an amazing looking building. The colours are flattering, it's an interesting combination of warm (and fairly new) colours. I like the roof section the best, it's done perfectly. I know from experience it's hard to make a rounded roof, so your choice of pieces is very smart. And the elevator is an add-on that is an extra special detail to this already special house.

Who knows...might be my next project.

That's a nice bank. I like the overall design, though I'd add more colours (maybe some DBG) to emphasize the facade more. On the inside, there are also some nice details. The counter looks great with SNOTed windows (without the robber ) and the security camera. The spiral stairs are nice, but they seem a bit unstable. Maybe an extra pillar could be added. Nevertheless, it's a great design altogether.

The stone work is amazing, and the wooden part of the tower is a nice change in the materials. As said before, this style of building really suits you. I'm looking forward seeing more from you (in hopes of a larger diorama, perhaps ).

This is amazing! I went through the pictures slowly, and I expected the dragon to come out from the sea, but it was still a surprise. The effect of splashing water is incredible, and the scene was caught in the best moment to show off the dimensions of the beautifully built (hungry ) dragon!

That's a lovely MOC! It looks simple, and yet full of details. I like the inclusion of different furniture, it gives life to the inn. But on the outside, the inn is even more impressive. It's a mix of many colours that actually go together really well. The stone work is great, and the addition of the flower bush and a bird is my favourite. Well done.
