  1. you do know that this " *yoda* and the eiffel tower delivery" is becoming quite an internet story, don't ya? Several members on different websites will hold their breath this afternoon, when you've popped the big question, ready to listen to the answer from the lego emp X-D
  2. i was just pointing this out to jipay on msn. it's a great model, even though i thought it's a space ship...
  3. hm... i never introduced myself either... |-/ :-P
  4. :-P really? we don't have trucks with doors opening that way? hm... i may have to check... |-/
  5. hehe... aren't we all just dying to get more female minifigs? X-D
  6. seriously? i think they already have the set, but they've been told not to sell it just yet, and most defenitely not to *yoda* ... because, if they sell it to *yoda* today, they just know it'll be on eb a day later, yes, *yoda* would stay up all night to build it and then, before he goes to bed, take pics and do a review... all for us X-D
  7. maybe you should ask that to yoda in one of the review topics
  8. looool this could be used for the cover of the new Barbarella film! X-D
  9. nono you put the door after that brick. the rotating point of the door is at the back underneath the orange slope, so the doors swing open backwards, not forward, as in the classic cars
  10. well they are extremely rare and sw is seriously hyped, so...
  11. well... i AM the space mod after all X-D
  12. g... Paris isn't doing great at all... note to Paris: I'm willing to change my vote. Please send me a million euros, no ... not...not dollars cause they will lost yet another 10% of their value by the time they arrive..., and... I'll see what I can do... X-D
  13. my experience with Lego direct is the same. they're always friendly and willing to help out.
  14. you're right, even sw sets will become cheap at some point, when the hype is gone and sets will overflow the second hand market, but MISB sets will always be expensive because the number of MISB copies of any given set will decrease. still, it's the hype that has to calm down.
  15. nice review *yoda* it seems you can add classic white doors to the side of the cabin. just loose the panel and the 1x1 white brick underneath the slope and voil
  16. g... this looks mean, *yoda* i think you'd have no problem parking this in the center of Paris... X-D
  17. ok... in that case, i don't know. depends on the actual sets, but even more on the budget and the quality/sets of the other lines. right now i'd say "no, i would not buy them considering the high number of city/creator/sw sets and old sets i still have to buy. It wouldn't even have anything to do with the Greece sets." ... and can i have the ice cream anyway? X-D
  18. i wouldn't mind a UCS "seven wonders of the world" or just a UCS line with other great buildings, like the Acropolis, but that would be more to display than to play with. i voted "other option", being army building sets
  19. great set, great review *yoda* damn this looks good! 8-
  20. even though i like your options, i don't think they're attractive to young kids and those are the ones buying the lego. because, when you're a kid, you're thinking about conflict based stories, you're thinking big battles, like the LOTR battle fields. all the mythology is, i think, lost on them... I'm afraid it's one of the reasons why nobody like history at school...
  21. i did not vote "no", however, i'm also not keen on having a "Greece copy" of the viking line. i'm kinda fet up with the dinos, mythical monsters, other creatures... and i'm also not waiting for gods... let's face it: if lego would do a greece or roman theme, they'd better produce army building sets; that's what people want. we've got a huge playmobil display here at the shopping mall and guess what's the star of the show? yep, Roman troops fighting in the arena.
  22. unless you own a shop, why would you want so many? i don't want to step on sensitive toes or anything, but you may want to ask yourself what you're doing here? :-) i mean, this IS fairly insane...
