Today i have asist with an open day by the company Heerema( they make complete instalations and oil rigs) There was a building competion for kids and got after it a box that they can fill up with LEGO®. Also i got some nice tables to display some of my ships.

Best @patch66, Nice model you made, but missing a lot of details on it. At your first post you said that the model is aprox 6000 parts and in your last post 27 kg . Do you juse leaded bricks

Please Blakbird, come next year to Legoworld even your are not being Dutch ( the org is searching for people and Lugs like you) DaveKuhh is the best new-comer for building stunning big scaled models in my mind . The photo's of his moc's don't give the right perspective and are in real so much more better that you got lost in all the details. This year at Legoworld was the quality so high with so many great builders that blow your mind. I hope you haved a great time a LW my friend, with the special backstage ticket . Thanks Kman860 for the kind words and whe are lucky for so small country as the Netherlands, that whe have the biggest LEGO event in the world . Now one day after it and 7 days in a row at Legoworld mine body, voice and mind are to tired and can only sitting on the bench and drinking beer . Also it's great i meet new friends like @Sheepo and his 3 other Spannish friends, and with L@go from Norway, i have a great blind building competion togehter . After all LW 2015 haved the best organization from the last 3 years and my compliments for that

Now after 5 days the countmeter is stands on 79000 visitors, still two days left. The Lego world event is great this year and the people and kids are very interactive and asking so much, that i have almost no voice anymore

Kids have a complete diverent way of thinking and all mocs must move and working in any way .

All ships arived in one part at Lego World and in one our ready with my tabels . My sweet doghter(10 years have helped me )

Hi Jeroen, That's a ambitious project and glad after seeing the Kiss you wanted restarted this project SS Amsterdam and is a beautyfull ship . I know that you are a Pro builder, but to juse the bending-brick technique i precarious about . The SS Amsterdam in the scale 1/100 is 2,32 meter in lenght and 27 centimeters wide and with the bending technique you can't build strong enough. Maybe you can learn from Konajra's Jutlandia and the technique he jused for the hull. Also i make a quick calculation and you need around 50 K to 70 K off parts for it.
