  1. Thanks guys for the great compliment. Yesterday arrived at the webshop hoste of Damen the 100 CSD sets and is for sale at there webshop https://webshop.dame...o-boat-csd.html. The price they ask for it is not my price what i got for it , but is the same price tag of the line for there small scaled models. In one day now that it's for sale at there webshop they sold already 11 sets and Damen can ask what they wanted for it, because there is the Damen logo on it and it will sell. The box art is not what i expect ore seen early before and changed many times and is not my choice, but the most customers for the CSD are from the middle east and asia.
  2. Many thanks Igmar, but to make a engine room is this scale give me a lot of headache (more of the half of the hull inside is open and don't wanted loose strength . Yesterday i got a tour and trip on the real Triton and haved a great day and make a lot of pictures. Iskes gives me all drawings of the ship, but now seeing the real tug and engine room that i must change a lot the structure(inside and outside). The trans panels i use are to low by one studd and 6 studs to short in lenght and orderd new parts on BL. Today i buildt the 4 engines and building them in the scale 1:64 is and is still in a WIP fase, but the base is there . The two main engines are 8 cylinders in line and made by: ANGLO-BELGIAN-CORP. For electrich and hydralic are two 6 cylinders engines from Scania. Also changed a lot on the stern deck and the details are almost done now. Here some pictures of the real one and the progress on the LEGO Triton. Greets Edwin, The main deck in LEGO The wip fase of the engine room.
  3. The truck drivers got competion at the next Legoworld . Looks superB already Davy
  4. Sometime it's happen with 1x1 tiles ore 1x1 2/3 cheeseslopes that LEGO runs a bad batch and unfortunately we got a bad run . Because we buy this parts on BL can't copmplane by LEGO, the problem is that the inside is to thick and put it on a plate and it's break ore crack.
  5. Not only old parts, but brand new parts gives sometime problems and brake. For a set for Damen brakes 125 new tiles of the 200 1x1 dark red, lucky for me that i found the problem before livery and replaced all the tiles, only was not happy that must check, test and reseal all the 200 bags .
  6. Thanks Effe, Later on this year i must make two tugs with voight schneider propellors for Iskes . But the owner and CEO wanted that i building first now the Triton and Venus and they are ASD tugs . Here some detail pictures of the azimuth trusters.
  7. The last couple of weeks, JunkstyleGio and i Designed 3 new sets for new custommers and got their approval on the models and in februari and march are the contract signing in Belgium and Germany for hundred's of sets . Also the ask for one of a kind big models in the last month absurdly high and only four of them are real serious. In my lost our's i am started now on the 16e tugboat for Iskes and is build in a different scale for me 1:64 , with a complete open viseble engineroom, brick build trusters and propellers(the basic idea are from Konajra and thanks for that)and give it mine own style , a lot of lights and many new designed details. Next week i got a trip on the real Triton for taken many picture of all the details and engineroom. Here is the first start and wip pictures of the Triton. Greetings Edwin,

  16. After a very nice Christmas i got a nice pressent from Iskes Towage & Salvage and was invited with my doghter by the National Tug Museum in Maassluis(Netherlands) for a private tour around the museum. This smal but very warm museum tells all about the history off Dutch offshore, harbour and inland tugging, with a lot of tugmodels, working old radioroom, tug simulator and some interactive games. Here is my doghter sending a message to here sick mom with M.O.R.S.E code. After a half our trying this only word whe make for here . The reason why whe where invited that there is now a tempotary exhibition about the Amsterdam to IJmuiden region and Iskes and Svitzer are the biggest tug company's there and my LEGO Bernardus stands with proud in there museum. My Little girl is even more proud that here dad is already stands in a museum and i am not even history yet .
