  1. Well, there's your problem! Digital dice and real dice tend to deal results differently. With a real die, there's physical effects on the result, while most digital dice use a pseudorandom algorithm that's next-to-impossible to predict, but are usually tweaked to provide rolls that appear random but really aren't; if you use those sorts of PRNG dice, you can manage to get a sort of familiarity down where you can instinctively guess when a streak of good or bad luck will end, even if you can't consciously guess the result. The moral? Use a digital die so the appearance of randomness will cause a few more positive rolls. Seriously, though, if you're going to use physical dice ditch the Monopoly one and get something out of a different game. Everyone knows that the makers of monopoly hire evil necromancers to curse their dice with bad luck before shipping them out of the factory.* *This is a joke added for comedic effect. I am not actually suggesting the makers of Monopoly actually, intentionally add negative metaphysical properties to their dice, I am suggesting that some outside metaphysical force is responsible for the consistently "unlucky" dice that come packaged with Monopoly games. If you MUST use a physical Monopoly die, go for the transparent/translucent ones that come with certained themed Monopoly games, they tend to be a little more forgiving than their evil opague counterparts. I still recommend switching to a non-Monopoly die, tho.
  2. No, is kind of hot taste meat roll. BTW, do you draw any of Cronk's inspiration from Draak of Irregular Webcomic!'s Fantasy theme?
  3. I, too would like to see many more printed parts. Actually... I don't know if it would be possible, but I'd LOVE to see some of the torso and leg (and arm) printing options from the files of LEGO Universe made available in LDD. You know, for those of us who take pictures using print screen and aren't quite skilled enough to Photoshop the desired designs in. Along the same lines, some more backdrops with more variation would be nice. Again, some of the old resources from LEGO Universe might be helpful to the design team, they've already been made and aren't in use, why not use a few?
  4. I'm happy to see that my strategies are well in-line with those of established Mafia players! Twice now players here have used strategies almost identical (to the word!) to the ones I've PM'd to other audience members, and in situations where it's TOTALLY impossible for that information to have passed on somehow. I feel more confident about passing (if not surviving) Mafia School with flying colors now.
  5. Slow weekend in Heroica so far...perhaps I wasn't the only one who was away all day today...
  6. I'd like it a LOT better if the treads didn't stick out so much. Part of it might also be they picked an absolutely horrible angle to film it from, from the side it looks excellent. Eh, if it's the only set with Pythor, then it looks like I'll get it anyway. Hey, where was that buying guide eariler this year when I was looking for it?!?!
  7. Aww...does Pythor come in anything else? Because, really, Spitta isn't enough to justify it for me, since I already have the ZX ninja other than Kai anyway...
  8. Dude...PLEASE use punctuation next time. This is an adult fan site, please try to use correct punctuation and grammar, thanks. I agree, a LEGO Balrog would be epic, but...this is LEGO. I'd almost say it'd be more fun to build our own Balrog.* *Unless LEGO already has one in the works for the next wave in which case GIMME! Hey! Someone else who had the same initial idea for the One Ring! Poor Sauron, everyone keeps taking his Ring...first Isildur...then Gollum...then Frodo...then Harry Potter... EDIT: On another note...we DEFINITELY need Isengard...if only so the Uruk-hai can be "taking the Hobbits" to it.
  9. 9450 Epic Dragon Battle is a DEFINITE must-have. I must say, though, I'm not as impressed with the Ultrasonic Raider as I thought I would be. What minifigs come in it again? If there aren't enough generals for the price, I may skip it and just get Kai's Blade Cycle for Kai ZX.
  10. Hmm... 1.) Take container of rocks. 2.) Have Althior boil them into lava with his Ruby. 3.) Drop magma on Elves 4.) ??? 5.) Profit!
  11. Oh, yeah, we also have two with rocks... Say, can we meme them to death??
  12. OOC: Unless we can still use the catapult on these guys... -==IC: Arthur==- Arthur had been waiting for this moment; now, he knew his time had come. Raising his Opal aloft on the end of his staff, he summons a mighty blizzard to take down the Scout from the Back Row! OOC: K-nut, put me first, I really want a shot at my first personal kill.
  13. So, if you've been following the Ninjago topic, you may have seen me post this concept image (by LEGO artist Keith Richards) of the unfinished Ninjago dragon pets: Well...I have recreated them in LDD! Suggestions? Criticisms? This is the first MOC I've had the courage to post on Eurobricks, so your ideas are very much appreciated! I'll attach the LXF to this post. Please give credit if you use these! NinjagoDragonPets.lxf
  14. 1.) I totally thing you're right. 2.) I TOTALLY have to use that trick now, it looks awesome! :P
  15. This. My wallet is screaming like it's under the Cruciatus curse. Also, @ the poster above me, I think the "dragon suits" are actually the NRG forms.
  16. Discussing characters' theme songs is on-topic...I think...isn't it?
  17. Perfect theme for Finnegan: For Arthur...hmm...I'm not really sure. this one is kinda cool, but it's not quite right...(it could be an alternate for Finnegan, tho...)
  18. "YEAH! That's the way to go! C'mon, Isabella, let's load the catapult with small stones and take out that Scout!"
  19. YES. Do that with one of the scorpions, and have the "missing" scorpion lying on the roof (or sidewalk) where the chimp knocked it down. That would add so much life to the scene!
  20. So, would that make the two of you a Fred-Phred burger? Welcome to Eurobricks, Fredulus!
  21. Hey there! Welcome to Eurobricks! We definitely have TONS of inspiring MOCs here--and if you ever get bored with them (or even if you don't ) you can always hang around the Games forum for insipriation! So, what themes are you most interested in? Fantasy, Sci-fi, city, etc...?
  22. So wait, this is free to play, but some things cost money? Just wanna be sure before I get too involved. Also, do you have to use a different email account everytime you make a "mule", or will the same email always work?
  23. "Again!" Arthur calls, focusing entirely on the task at hand.
  24. Must've been the comp issues on my end then--my computer was way messed up a few weeks back, and I had that problem.
