Everlast is assembling its forces atm as it is a very valuable place (very strategic located towards Nocturnus). Anyway, Lord Max Samu managed to withdraw all the treasures out of Everlast (to a secret place) so in the worst scenario, we only lose a pile of bricks...

some really nice Moc's and a very intruiging story!! As Petera pointed out, he and Lord Damaximus were indeed on very good terms and despite being enemies, Damaximus has a lot of respect for the intellect and the skills of Petera. As Stedor is surrounded by Ulandus and Everlast is surrounded by the Desert King, both cities can't move troops fast enough to Knight's Bridge without being spotted. Luckily our reinforcements can land closely to Knights Bridge so hopefully they will be on time!

I am really happy Berigora will be High Council as Stedor is supporting the High Council as well. Two blue blips close to eachother in an Ulandas area :p

As I see it, the High Council is indeed neutral in the war between Desert King and Ulandus. But as they are both a threat to the High Council, the High Council has to fight battles to restore the Kaliphlin we used to know a few months back :)

Mpya Stedor and Everlast both will be on the side of the High Council! What probably means Everlast will be a blip in the land of the Desert King :/

Choosing between an old Pharaoh and a dictator... Lord Damaximus is pretty sure to choose the stay neutral option. And yes that means Stedor will be in the middle between different legions and yes that means Everlast will have to call their soldiers back out of Nocturnus, Mitgardia and Avalonia (because Everlast was one of the key points in the ancient empire of Kaligem, so I am pretty sure the odd Pharaoh wants to conquer Everlast as it is very close to Sultans Gate) Well, the good news is Amenor (for the new members, Amenor, Ximus and Atlarka are guilds far far away, very important in the stories of Damaximus) is sending a complete army to Stedor!!

Bannihal....., I suddenly realise it comes from Hannibal... Nice name -------------------------------------- In character: After hearing the report, Lord Damaximus went to one of the many cosy inns in Petraea. There Lord Max Samu of Everlast was waiting to hear what happened in the High Council. After Damaximus told the report of Bannihal to Samu, the following discussion started: DM: So what do you think, is he telling the truth? Samu: I am not sure... Every foreigner who talks to a Historican discovers sooner or later the military power of Stedor. And when he listens carefully, he will know that you are known to be very agressive in Kaliphlin Defense matters. So if he is really teaming up with the Desert King, he choosed well to say "Stedor" and not "Ras-El-Akhen" for example. DM: Fact is we haven't seen any Ulandian in Stedor so far... It would make sense that their ship has been sabotaged. The only thing in the story that bothers me is that if you want to go from Ulandus to Stedor, you don't have to pass by the Spice Islands... That makes no sense... Samu: True. So you will let this pass? DM: Stedor will be as neutral as always at this moment. Are the troops of Everlast ready for this one? Samu (smiles): Most of our troops are still fighting against the Spire in Nocturnus. But I got a better plan. Thanks to the Ulandians who are fighting against everyone not loyal to Kaliphlin, many tribes and clans fled in the Rakath Mountains. They abandonned their homes. Most of them are however loyal to Everlast (muhahaha) but we can't fight against Ulandian troops in Kaliphlin to help them without provoking a war. So my idea is to put those clans and tribes on ships and send them to the Leander under command of Yarraj and his Yars. They can fight together with the Leander against the Ulandians. DM: and nobody will ever know Everlast or Stedor sent them... Perfect. And in the case the Leander are loyal to the Desert King and he wants to attack us, we got an army inside their army to sabotage them!

I still think the Avalonians are the most sneaky of them all!! Stedor is kinda suprised to see sudently such a large mass instead of a nice plain horizon....What does your town think about the matter? :)

The name Mpya Stedor means "New city" ("Mpya" is swahili for "new" and "Stedor" comes from "Stede" which is old Dutch for "City") The new settlement became already quickly a famous place in Historica and after 3 years it was finally recognised as a mayor Port City! So a few hours before the Great Disturbance, Stedor was a busy tradeplace full of activity! There was even a very nice wedding going on!!! (check the movie: ) ---------------------------------------- Now: (a few weeks after the Great Disturbance) Lord Damaximus called in the Council of Stedor Lord Damaximus: => Sir Fre Poah, how is our financial status? Sir Fre Poah: => Badly Lord, it's like there is a gap in the floor and all our gold is vanishing through it... Damaximus: => Lord Tomvaximus (of Maestro): what are our revenues? Tomvaximus: => Our only revenues are the food we can sell at neighbouring cities with foodshortage... We hear the people complaining it is only fish fish and fish we can offer nowadays... All our other products are on hold... Damaximus: => How is the reconstruction of our gold mine? Tomvaximus: => I guess it will be 3 more weeks before we can start mining again and a few more weeks before the revenues will stream in... Damaximus: => Sir Gah Rydog, how is the rebuilding of our Southern Towers? Gah Rydog: => Will be a matter of days.. Normally by Thursday our fortifications are back like they should be. Damaximus: => Finally some good news... General Whisximus, Where are my troops? Whisximus: => Most of the Alleenridders and Ximian forces are still sieging Eastgate. The 1001 Tigres are on holiday at Al'Esterbroke so we don't have to pay them. The Atlarkian fleet is back in Atlarka as it is summer there and they wanted to see their wife and kids. The dragons of Drakrydar are also back home for the breeding season... => In Stedor we are using the minimum soldiers we need. The other soldiers are rebuilding the damaged parts of our city and the neighbours. Damaximus: => Tomvaximus, prepare some ships so we can send messengers to other Guilds. Tell them they can hire the 1001 Tigres as mercenaries. Make them leave our city tomorrow morning. Talking about our fleet, Admiral Bostoximus, how is our fleet? Bostoximus: => We still have 10 ships. 10 more ships are currently being repaired. The 30 other ships we once had, are lost. I am sorry my lord. Damaximus: => Council dismissed, I gonna cry some... -------------------------------------------- Lord Damaximus: => Lord Max Samu, what's up with the Ulanda thing in front of our bay, anymore news? Lord Max Samu, => our agents are doing everything they can to gain as much info as possible. It is a good thing we don't say much about it to our citizens. The first reports I get in are talking about more than 5000 soldiers, very well organised. Damaximus: => Okay, let's send an emissary to there. Hopefully they are not up to war... Max Samu: => They already sent emissaries themselves to weaker cities here in Kaliphlin. It is frightening that not one major city in Kaliphlin saw an emissary of Ulanda. The only emissary we saw was that idiot who claimed the Desert King is back. Damaximus: => I know it is frightening. That's why my messengers are not going to offer my 1001 Tigres but they are going to ask for help to our alliances in other Guilds. Max Samu: => It is indeed wise to let our citizens be unknown of the current situation. Are you going to tell your allies Stedor is bankrupt? Damaximus: => Nope. When they ask to show some money, we are going to show the money of Everlast. Thanks god that place hasn't been hit by the Great Disturbance...
