As Purple Rain is co-owned by Corrington, I would like to see her sailing with her buddy Sulky Harlequin :) -

OOC, yeah, my real father in law showed us today even wise men can be seriously stupid and shortsighted when it comes to pride.- 780 replies

I will talk with the High Council about your concerns. His claims as new king of Oleon are very legit, but we assure you that the moment our king dares to declare war to Corrington we will step in, so don't worry- 780 replies

About the high licencing or upkeep thing: There would be more smaller ships as they have lesser upkeep. Now a small ship is a bad thing

March 616 - Corrington's Escorted Trade Runs
Maxim I replied to Mike S's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Sorry friends, I missed the Whisper while updating the list, so that's where I went wrong asuming you already had 5 unmoc'd vessels. Lover's Quarrel has been added to the active licenced fleet of Corrington! -
That's why increased upkeep for all vessels (in % of licence cost) instead of a pentalty in licencing cost for going over a number of ships would be more interesting. Now a class 0 is in my eyes a waste of ship slots as my fourth ship would cost me so much more for licencing alone. ofcourse you have only have to pay upkeep for a ship used in a MRCA for that month.

The 5F was owned by KolonialBeamter. Probably also a shared ship :)

March 616 - Corrington's Escorted Trade Runs
Maxim I replied to Mike S's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
She is indexed as licenced, but drydocked. But no prob, I'll change her status when I am home :) -
So between class 5 and class 6, there suddenly is 30 db upkeep. That's why I suggest upkeep for al classes. it is fairer and faction, cities and tradecompanies have to pay upkeep as well. Another thing. I am pretty sure a class 7 HA has more cargo possibilities than a class 1T, so maybe a minimum cargo for those big ships? Especially when they are so expensive in upkeep. Also, 48 guns for a first ship of the line is very few. Margot is historically seen a third ship of the line and has already 55 guns

March 616 - Corrington's Escorted Trade Runs
Maxim I replied to Mike S's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Lover Quarrel wasn't licenced properly, so in my list he still is drydocked -
There really is a huge number of MOC's posted every day. Althoug many of them are nice, most of them could have been better. So the idea of Bregir isn't that bad (no freebuild db's in months with a challenge deadline). The only thing I still don't agree about is the upkeep for larger ships. if there is upkeep, this should be for every class...

True, huge and detailed mocs are rewarded the same as a small simple build
