This brings me onto an idea... Hopefully I can execute it tomorrow evening. Still not sure how the Pip's can help with it... -
My advice: go for it! Take the Roebuck as inspiration (guidance), but be sure to check many lego models and copy their techniques. It has a shape that can be complished with Lego bricks (CGH ship building technique). Using his guide and some examples of two deckers: (creator's note: this one has been updated, but haven't found the time to finish the sails...) As Kurigan said, you will have to build, destroy, build, destroy, build, rebuild, build, .... till you find something satisfactory for you.

But why being so secretive about the vessels blockading the ports? I asked already 3 times, still no answer. This should be open information as IC, it is not very difficult to determine what vessels are blockading your port as you see those ships laying in front of your port. -

The classes for 5+ aren't out yet. This will be somewhere in the near future as promised months ago by @Bregir . There are vessels now that are too big for the current licences (they are licenced as a class 5). Once the new classes are out, the Naval Commission will decide case by case what class those current vessels can be upgraded too.

The Empire of Oleon: Sign-up and Discussion
Maxim I replied to Sebeus I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
If our soldiers marched to Granoleon (which would have been royal troops as the TC's never were in war with Oleon) and failed, I don't see how this would have led to the end of Eslandola :p In order to rule over Eslandola, it would have been up to Oleon to answer with a force marching to Terelli. Now here would have been the point that the TC's would have defended Eslandola with their powerfull mercenary army (which is stronger than the royal army). Thanks to the TC rescue, Terelli would have been indebted to us, resulting in a capitalation of the crown in favour of more power to the people. So in the end the result is the same, but due to the interfering of the Eslandola Counsil, there were no hundreds of soldiers who never returned home... Just in name of all their families, you should be gratefull to the Eslandola Council... -

@SkaForHire: Is it possible to give a list of the vessels that are blockading the 3 ports? I don't think this should be hidden information as one can easily spot the vessels that are blockading a port... Could you give a quick explanation about the MRCA results of Garvey (5k) and Mardier (7,7k)? It kinda feels out of proportion with what Esl (2.7k), Oleon (3k) and Cor (1.5k) earned, that's why I ask :)

@Mesabi, nothing personal, but my advice is to wait a while before creating your own trade company and prepare it well. If I am not wrong, faction leaders are not so keen granting a Trade Company Charter (so a TC has its own rights and account and can chase a specific monopoly). You will have to show your value for the nation and you also need to have at least 2 members, maybe even more. It took MAESTRO 10 months before we had our first monopoly. That doesn't mean you can't have a non-official trade company. There are various minor TC's around to back up player stories (like the WETEC of Silentwolf and CSC of Mike S for example)- 897 replies
