  1. @DLuders Nice picture! I just have to wait for my mog to get here. oh and do you reccomend the tire being on the inner or outer rim on the wheel?
  2. @DLuders Thank you. I knew I saw something somewhere before but i couldnt remember where. and is it recomended that i can do that, or would it ruin the tire after time since im rcing my mog?
  3. i know this is kinda off topic, but would the Wheel 62mm D. x 46mm Technic Racing Large wheels fit on the unimog or are they of different size of wheel? the link to the bricklink page: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=22969&in=S
  4. Thank you for the download. I'll have to download it when i get done fixing my desktop, it's a long story but my issues were with my RAM...
  5. @widetent I think you can do this: Get on this forum (the sr3d forum- projects) and start a new topic or thread: http://sr3d.spoonclan.com/viewforum.php?f=13&sid=b4491e7f5036b0ebf95fe24b02bd08ce Then you can upload your creation and create a link back here.
  6. @widetent Can you possibly post a download file?
  7. @SNIPE I forgot where i had seen it, but there was a whole thing on download issues with the program and how to fix them. I think it might have been under comments on a post on technicbricks
  8. @widetent Thank you so much! You have no idea how much not only I, but alot of others appreciate this. Now we can test our attachments directly before we build them, or for those like me, test our ideas before we even have our own unimog. Now i have to see if i can download this since my sr3d is still having issues. edit: I dont really mind not having the best rendering as long as we have a model. edit 2: and please post the sr3d unimog under the linked forum for everyone to find it, maybe once you do have a nicer rendering! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=48285&st=120
  9. has anyone tried to put a 6 in-line cylinder engine in the mog? since that would be more accurate to the model (im not exactly sure about the 400 series but the 500 series have 6 cylinder engines while the 4000/5000 series have 4 cylinder engines for better weight distribution, for better off-road driving)
  10. Does anyone know if anybody has made an LDraw or MLCad or any other SR3D accepted model of the unimog?
  11. @Alasdiar Ryan I wasn't aware of the new version. I guess I'll have to go over to my desktop and install that version.
  12. well first of all that wouldnt work with even 2 normal remotes, as theres 2 functions per channel and the remotes can controll both functions. It would work if you had a second receiver so that you can use a second channel for the second remote.
  13. @Alasdair Ryan Not yet, I'm going to try to uninstall everything including ldraw and reinstall it and see if it works, as it could just be an issue with my ldraw library.
  14. @Alasdair Ryan Thanks for the link for the instructions. But unfortunately my SR3D is having issues, I've downloaded everything that it needs but it seems that when I insert a part i just gives me the error message saying continue or quit and i click continue and it pops up the same box. @MMR1988 First book is a good start.
  15. @Brickdoctor I wouldnt pester him about it cause i dont like to be annoying. But everything should be made for mac first, that way bill gates can figure out how to copy mac again.
  16. Ok, to start this topic off... has anyone attemted to create the mog in sr3d? at the moment i would but my sr3d is having some issues (probably my windows acting up again, i like apple computers better so i'll see if sr3d is available on mac)
  17. @DLuders I'm not understanding how that works though. Is it that one lever (orange piece) controls a function? I've only seen two of them used once before and that was on the motorized excavator and I'm not sure how that worked.
  18. @DLuders Thanks. So if im not mistaken, the speed remote is better for tracked vehicles and trains and the other remote is for everything else? And a kinda off topic question... can i use two remotes for the unimog when i motorize it? or is that for more complex models with more functions?
  19. @DLuders What about for a rc Unimog?
  20. has anyone tried to make the street sweeper version with the sweepers on the side?
  21. Hey everyone. I was just wondering, has anyone tried to make a trailer hitch? so that we can have a trailer either for like a log loader or to pull around another vehicle of some sort. I dont own the mog yet, and ive had tons of ideas for motorization and attachments. Oh and if anyone can, can someone make the mog in sr3d that way we can make our own attachments virtual before digging though spare pieces to make it reality?
  22. dude you are awsome!!! you need to make instructions of these, or if you dont want to tear them apart, make instructions in your best ability to just by looking at the model! i would definatly go out of my way spending money just to build models like yours... and possibly change color and stuff and etc. but if you do make instructions i would find a way to build your models and set them on a display with the model name and your name as the respected creator. plus i could possibly learn a trick or two by looking at your models!
  23. @TechnicJuan When the sets come out, it varies on where you're located. Like where I live, we get nothing when a bigger city (i.e. small town Kansas compared to New York City) so also depends on your store(s), like if they only get so many in the first truck, they may keep them in the back until they get more (i.e. first shipment is 10, but they need atleast 100 to keep the shelves stocked) hope this helped!
  24. the truck is basicly going to be like a air tech claw rig 2.0
  25. @le60head ok i understand now, i think. they were just used the pinhole so that they could be put at a number of angles other than the 4 on the crossbeam, right? but on most sets i see them on (note that i have not seen even an 8th of the sets that use them) they arent used like that, mainly the half bushes used on the end of a beam.
