  1. This is really funny, I haven't been to TCBY scince about 1990. Maybe this is the future of the intergalactic yogurt cantina chain. *yum
  2. You are correct, Doctor. Only one of my WM's had them for that low of a price. Meijer has them all on sale too, although still a couple bucks more. The Kroger by me has the Werewolf for $11.00, regular price!I can tell you're a lego dad like me. The only reason I got the MF sets is because my daughter likes them (especially the ghosts).
  3. What's all this then? http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=71940&st=4375#entry1580483
  4. First time I've ever seen a vehicle for Electro Batman. Looks like a rugged truck too. I like both vehicles, actually
  5. Monster Fighters 9468 Vampyre Castle $69 Monster Fighters 9467 The Ghost Train $54 Monster Fighters 9466 (Frankenstein's Lab) $35 Monster Fighters 9464 Vampyre Hearse $25 Monster Fighters 9463 The Werewolf $13 Monster Fighters 9462 The Mummy $7 Monster Fighters 9461 The Swamp Creature $5 Also some Series 10 CMF Medusa, Sea Captain, and Baseball Player
  6. Oh, man some of you guys had me laughing. Seriously though, I usually watch a movie or tv show that reflects a theme I might currently be interested in. Then when I actually have time to build, I will choose a set. Sometimes my four-year-old will help me decide. She really likes Avengers and anything DC or Marvel. I will clean up the kithcen if I haven't already. Then I will clean the table twice to make sure it's clean. I lay down a white sheet to work on, then I go wash my hands. My little girl likes to sit on my lap and help. We follow the steps, count the studs, and sort the shapes and colors and all that. My older ones are too big to sit with me anymore , but I buy them their own sets to build. They like Friends and HP and some City, and have a similar setup routine as I do. The set might sit out on the table for a day or so. To avert the risk of said set becoming soiled by dirty, sticky fingers, I must retire it to one of my dedicated display shelves in my room. There it will sit, being periodacally swooshed or rolled, or role-played, what have you. Eventually being disassembled, cleaned, and put in sealed and labeled bags to make room for something else.
  7. I usually get online when I'm bored. Or at least when I'm trying to fall asleep.
  8. Now this is a fantastic MOC! Great model, lots of action and attention to detail. I get a real kinetic sense of the scene just from the photos, so you did it right. This is A plus work right here. You had me concerned at first, because I didn't see Luke, but he's on Flickr. (sigh of relief)
  9. This one is good. I remember the scene well. This is when people get pimp slapped for false flagging. You aint a Sith, Ventress! Your aliens fit in nicely here. Even that heinously ugly HP troll.
  10. Great MOC! There's a lot of action in this scene.
  11. Well, if it is only two waves, that would be much better for my wallet. But then again, the success of the theme depends on our wallets. About those polybags, some stores do have the older ones, like the Venator and the Batmobile. But TRU only has a few Chima and City ones. If I see any GS, I'm going to snatch a whole handfull of em.
  12. What a wonderful review, Kiel! Now I like this set more than ever before. I don't care if it's a little off scale, it's great!
  13. Does anyone know where I can see the Chima tv show? I saw some on youtube, but they're not in English so I don't understand it.
  14. That's a good looking ship. The story is pretty good, too.
  15. Wait, Walmart has LEGO coupons? I like your idea with the Chima dudes. Sounds like it would be pretty unique.
  16. Both of these vehicles are really great. The rugged, off-road design seems well suited for any terrain, and the size makes for more storage and equipment. I especially like the colors of the medical one. "Space rescue squad" would be a great sub theme idea.
  17. I love the design of this, and the splitting works nicely. The color and shape of the ship are spacey and I think it all works well together. I'm glad it dosn't really have a bug shaped head.
  18. Orthanc is HUGE! But two hundred bucks? Jebus, that's a hefty pricetag. Over 2300 pieces, but a lot of them are probably tiny. It needs more orcs, too.
  19. I really like your vehicle designs, and the colors are good looking too.
  20. Good job on the review. I love the artwork on the instruction manual, but the model leaves much to be desired. Pretty good for way back then, but it looks like something I would've tried to build when I was twelve if I'd had the parts.
  21. Now, there's one for the shelf, right in front! That would be most excellent with the new tie style.
  22. Finished the Vermin Vaporizer yesterday. I must say, that is a fine model. The stickers were a total pain in the rear, but it would look stupid without them. Now, all said and done, it's nice to have the truck in my space collection. I just love it.
  23. I love this, it looks like one the crazy vehicles right out of one of my own drawings.
  24. I've always liked the statfighter with those big engines, and yours looks really great. Ventress' fighter looks fantastic with the color and I thought the ship looks kind of bizarre, but so does she. And I also appreciate your Clone Wars figs not having clone wars faces. They look really good like that.
  25. This is a great model, you've done a fine job including action features too. Not to sure about the name, though. But this looks wonderful.
