  1. "This city's port for pirates, slavers and a worse scum. But Strivvi is not lawless. Their ships can port, and partake in what the city has to offer, but they can't go and harass the villages beyond the gates. Plus, you'll be wanting back in the city, right? Take your stuff before you go, and don't forget to leave your things in the chest when you come back. Feel free to bring Mortimer here too if you succeed and feel the need to, although I'll leave that up to you, I'll go out in a bit." The heroes memorize instruction given by the infiltrator, and then go on their way. The heroes took back all their weapons when up, leaving only Purple's. Outside, they see that the sun has come back, and it is starting to get warm already. The part of the city where the heroes are seems fairly quiet, with only now and then a cloaked figure or turbaned person passing by. Every so often, the heroes see carts filled with all kinds of goods, pulled by large lizard creatures, horses or simply people heading one way or the other. Finally, the heroes find where they need to be. There seems to be a single guard in front of the massive warehouse building, closer to the ocean than they've been since they arrived in the city.
  2. I would suggest an action but my character is knocked out, so I'm not going to interfere with the battle until that is concluded. The QMs made a call.
  3. Entry 1: 3 points Entry 5: 2 points Entry 3: 1 point
  4. Guts groans something on the floor.
  5. "The Nightmaster's counterpart. They like to give off the message they rule the city's crime. Barely true, but they're both in league with the wolves. Don't know em personally. The slave. He went back with you guys. Any more questions, we're likely parted for a while?"
  6. Guts lays on the ground. Knocked out.
  7. Guts attacks Frozen Roots A B E front row. Same BO.
  8. Nope. x2x2x2 is not the same as x6 ;)
  9. I'm not sure if I am allowed to say this here, but on Ebay a number of sellers use stolen credit card information to buy lego, then sell it cheaply because Lego sells so much on Ebay. I'm fairly sure in most countries if you buy something for a price that would give you a reasonable idea that something shady is going on, you can be hold accountable to some degree. I would not touch this with a ten-foot pole. Also, this guy might be totally legit, but I wouldn't count on it.
  10. "I guess you do. Strivvian Wolfgang thugs. Expect heavier armed than the rabble you fought over in Yoren's Square. Better trained. Better armoured. Wouldn't surprise me if they were lead by the Daymaster. They move Mortimer every so often. I want you to attempt to free him when the sun rises, I'll give you directions. I'll go see if I can find out more about Zoe. I had to keep an eye on you jesters appearing the last few days, I'll pick up where I left off."
  11. "Would you give an infiltrator a sharp metal object on a stick? Mortimer? It'd make sense, he's a rockling, but yet he is not. He's in some warehouse not too far from here. Don't have the capacity to take his guards on by myself."
  12. "Sodding heroes.... You want me to make a blasted monologue for half an hour, tell you all you need to know so you can be on your way? I don't have any magic, can't tell you all you want to know. About Pseudos... From what little I've heard the blasted thing was some sort of god, and the Strivvians violently rebelled against it's presence. Many people lost their lives. Seem to me that there's good reason for doing that with a god that sends vicious, killing statues after people. Once I asked someone, and they got away from me as fast as they could. Only good thing about it is that this room seems to be soundproof, and that people stay away." He takes another drink, finishing the wineskin, and throwing it to the side. "Wolfgang Ambush. And how many Wolfgang arrows were trained on you? How many of their puppy sigils did you see? Of course the bastard knew you were coming, they know I am here. They want the sodding keystone. I believe they have found the Vault. It is in some random spot in the desert, there's a camp there, were digging happens, suspicious people come and go. About our primary objective.. I think that the guards were taking there too, it's hard to think that any might still be alive after this long. Or loyal to the town watch. We can't just go and storm the damn thing. When I got overzealous before, I lost my best man, Roman. That's not going to happen this time. We are going to need Zoe, and we are going to need official permission to leave the city. Zoe had devised a plan, but she never came back. I don't think she's dead though. She's tough, and I haven't seen her body." Purple looks over Ellaria's list, before throwing the booklet back to her. "Lorenzo el sodding Diablo. I have good reason to think his crew or even him sold us out last time we were here. Would be nice if we'd got on the ship too... Mortimer. The rockling 'archeologist'. He's still a captive, last I heard. If we can, I want get him with us too, I know the location, but he knows the best way to get there, and possibly how to get in unnoticed."
  13. Purple took another large swig, but stared up at the ogre with dry eyes. "Strivvia? What's that? Some sort of organic sweetener? All in good time, are you in a hurry to be somewhere? Let me tell you something about the people you just fought, or rather about the only one that was worth more than a second of your, I'm sure precious, time. The man's as much Wolfgang as the late great Donny Dozenhands." The Infiltrator threw up his hands in some sort of mocking worship.
  14. Purple sat himself down unceremoniously against a pillar, and pulled a skin of wine from somewhere and took a drink. He did not offer the heroes any wine but offered the heroes to sit down on the floor anyway. "Patricia said I had not been keeping in contact?! The sodding bitch. Will be glad when this job is done and I got my due salary, should be a bloody lot by now. After gonna quit and gonna go to the Eversummer Islands and drink gumballs on the sodding beach with pretty fairy girls at my sides. Erhm. I did not do any decorating. This place, it shifts. The patterns on the wall and floors move, statues change, artifacts appear and disappear. Stuff you leave goes away. We decided to sleep upstairs when we first found out. Anyways, I've been sending messages any time I could, we weren't exactly left with a lot of funds. What were we to do? We aren't like you heroes, although mayhaps we should, I can't just go around playing vigilante and taking whatever we can. The Wolfgang call themselves vigilantes too, you know. Heh" The infiltrator chuckled, and took another drink. For some reason the infiltrator paused. It gave the heroes a good look around the room. There were four tiny torches burning in the corners of the room, along with the shimmer of the gold in the room, it produced a paltry amount of light, yet somehow the room did not seem dark to the heroes. The room was covered in the same smooth black and crimson red stone as before, yet the room was clearly different than before. Where there were three statues before, now there was only one, a statue that could only be a depiction of Pseudos. The eyes of the figurine broke the room's palette of black, red and gold, and stared down at the heroes (or up, in Skrall's case) with white, blank eyes. "A disciple? Me? This is not a room of worship, this is a room of magic. Tell me, what do you know of the Strivvian 'Pseudos'?"
  15. By my own calculations I should have done 1016 damage to Rusealote on my critical hit. (32x3+29+2=127x2x2x2=1016) On my Shield I should have done 95 x2 (encouraged) = 190 darkness/frost damage to all enemies, 190x2x2=760 damage to Rusealote. "Again" Same battle order.
  16. The heroes hand over their weapons, some more willingly than others. First Boomingham gives up his swords and wand, Skrall hands over his Bow and Crossbow, then Atramor his staff, claws and dagger, then Nyx her staves, wand, book, dagger, and when Purple keeps holding his arm up, her collection of gems as well. From Ellaria finally he takes her Crossbow and two staves. The Infiltrator effortly opens the door with his full hands, the planks that seemingly barred the thing now giving way with hidden hinges. In the room they enter, there is a single bedroll, a large chest, and a hatch, the heroes know where it leads. Purple stashes the weapons in the chest, before taking off his own armguards and putting the weapons there too. He closes the chest, but does not lock it, the heroes see. He opens the hatch, and signals the heroes to follow him. The heroes, after climbing down the ladder, Skrall barely fitting, arrive in a familiar, but different space. "Thank you, Heroes, I know it's not an easy thing to give up your weapons and leave you helpless, while you know what once was down here. After we figured out that the statues dislike weapons, we had no attacks since leaving our arms up. Then, I'll get right to it. I found out where the Wolfgang is hiding, and the likely position in the vault. It hasn't been easy... Roman is dead. Zoe... indisposed. What has Patricia told you so far?"
  17. Sorry people, I will update tomorrow!
  18. "Leave the elf to me. Olmstyr, attack Dead Root A." Guts attacks the elf twice from the front row with Lifestealer. Battle order: Olmstyr Thormanil Alexandre Alexis Cinna Dreyrugr Guts Purpearl Baradok Dyric Matthias Haldor Guts
  19. "It could be any of them. They aren't saying anything of worth. We should just take them all out."
  20. "Those statues seem to not like weapons any more than being touched. It was a pain enough to smash them up to pieces last time, I decided not to question why they were back the next day, but fighting them again is something I can do without."
  21. "You'd have to forgive me for not taking a 'champion' seriously that can't even speak the name of their deity. I'd stash the weapons upstairs, before we go down the hatch. If you don't want to go in at all, I can't force you, but it's the best place to talk, this city has eyes and ears everywhere, but not there."
  22. For a while, the heroes are lead through Strivvi by Purple, finally, they arrive at a familiar front. "Right... Welcome back, I guess. This place... It's a good thing you found it. It's been marvelous. Before we go in. I'm going to need you to hand in all your weapons... The place... reacts badly to it."
  23. "Magenta? Your memory is off. Gibbin. Welcome, Heroes. To Strivvi. I suggest we get right to it. There's a lot to do. Are you ready to follow me?"
