You call it strategy, I call it special damage. Either way. Of course you get KO'ed, and sometimes you don't get experience. But hey, there's a thing to prevent that, it's called phoenix essences, essentially it's something that lets you get experience after you get ko'ed by throwing money at someone's knocked out face. I was totally fine until two extremely unlucky special damages knocked me out. After that, it was out of my hands. As I said, I consider any loot bonus. I'm not sure if you realize it, but this is not life.

I disagree immensely. Even though I wouldn't say I'm bitter, I'd say it's only reasonable to suggest that you use your consumables to make sure as many people get experience as possible. People invest time into battles, the reward is a stronger character due to experience.
-
I stand by my initial action. People would have gotten their loot. Eventually. You know I am not going to keep it for myself, how long have we been playing this game? QM interfering, and with this incident included, is things I wouldn't want. I doubt you'd like it very much if I did anything of the sort in my quest. Pro tip: Don't cheat people out of experience. It's wasting their time in the quest. Loot is bonus, experience is expected.

My first action when I would be revived would be to revive the next person. But hey.
-
Calm your stuff, I did it when you asked. But yes, I did do it out of spite for not being revived. I personally think not reviving someone when you absolutely have the ability to is extremely rude or however you want to call it. If you want to blame someone for holding up your quest. You should look elsewhere. This battle could have been done much quicker if people were active and had revived others.

Heroica RPG- Quest #96: Tying up Loose Ends

Atramor and Boomingham can just make it on top of the ridge by the window. They can touch the grating, and possibly pull it away and go in, but once they do, there is no going back. What do Boomingham and Atramor do? -
How is that?
-
It's not your business. If I say as party leader the loot goes all to me. That's the way it's going to be. I did it now, but it's very bad QM'ing.

"Take the trinket. And keep in mind that sometimes it's better to keep your mouth closed." Guts threw her the weapon. Loot division: Guts: nothing Purpearl: Thorny Rose, 10 gold, Baradok: 10 gold, 1 remedy Matthias: 10 gold, 1 remedy Cinna: 10 gold, grand potion Alexis: 10 gold, grand potion, Alexandre: 10 gold, remedy Thormanil: 10 gold Haldor: 10 gold, Emerald Dreygur, Dyric: nothing

"Are you done yet?"
-
"However you want to word it. It's not going to make a difference."
-
"And I want to be the sultan of the Eversummer Islands. We all have things we want."
-
"Ain't a democracy, lady."

"Thanks Thormanil." The raider spits out some blood, and pats Thormanil on the shoulder. He rolls his eyes at the elf's rambling about sins and elves. Guts turns to the rest of the heroes: "A phoenix essence is too much to spare? No one gets loot. I'll keep it all until someone convinces me they're worth it. It's poorly done to leave your companions in the dirt while they won your battle for you. Move out." The raider kneels at the fallen orc. "Olmstyr, are you alright?"

Nyx spends an ether throws a fireball at the window. It explodes at the window with big combination of sound, smoke and heat. Nothing particularly interesting happens. The grating seems to be slightly more unhinged than it was before. One thing is certain. Any people that are inside are now SURE to know that they are coming. -

"A ladder merchant? Don't be ridiculous. I was just going to say, the grating on the window is old, the plaster crumbles while you stand here. If you can climb up there, you can probably get inside from the window. Can any of you climb?" -

Boomingham knocks the door. There's is no answer. What he does find is that the door is oddly thick. -

The man gulps on the ground, and closes his eyes. Atramor sets up the ladder. It doesn't reach the window by about another length of the ladder. Unfortunately, there is no convenient second ladder. -

"Appreciate it. If you don't mind, I'd prefer if I just lie down on the ground like this." The man goes to lie down on the ground. "See, then they think you guys knocked me out and I'll be fine. Unless one of you wants to actually knock me out. Please don't." -

"Aww man, not cool. The big one offered me gold. Look, I'm only in it for the money." -

The man scratches his ears. "Okay, I'm not stupid. And I'm all for a little gold on the side, if you catch my meaning. I can't let you in, as I said. But I've been told there's another way in. But of course, I can't just let you do that, if I do, my employer will be very upset with me. So if you can make me a good offer and think of a way I can get away with it, I'll help you get in." "Yeah... That seems really convenient, now that you put it like that." -

"Look. Even if I could let you in, in there, there are twice as many people with three times as many weapons. But you're out of luck. The door is barred from the inside. You better just move on." -

"Errm. Uhm. No. I don't think so." -
Guts manages to speak some word while still on the floor: "If someone doesn't get me up real fast I'm not going to be your friend when it comes to loot."

The window is too high up to see anything but the ceiling. There are no passersby, for the moment. Atramor notices that they are in a fairly narrow street. If someone comes from either direction, they'd see. Every now and then someone moves past the alley, but no one goes in. The guard looks at the heroes uncomfortably.
