But can we heal Shaun? If I say roll an accidental Ravage, he will die. There's not much choice to that.
-
I think alphabetically is better. Often, Characters appear multiple times anyway, and if you just want to scroll and see what interesting characters are there, alphabetically is much more friendly. As long as you make sure the phrase for appearance is clear, I think if you want characters sorted by quest, it's easy enough to do a quick ctrl/cmd + F.

Question, if the rod is defeated, will an attack that hits all enemies damage Shaun?
-
I was actually confused about it too in the past, but this is just the simplest way to do it, I think.
-
It's not. It works three rounds plus the rest of the round.

I feel this quest has given Guts so much more credibility for his beliefs, you know: The poor can't decide for themselves, dragons are bastards, elves are arrogant, mages are dangerous. It's good.
-
"Grrm. One of you mages, trap the kid in a rock shell, or ice or whatever, we'll have to help him later, perhaps we can bring him to the Bonapartes, maybe they can do that trick again..." Guts spat on the floor, and said: "You know, you really believed me? You are dumber than you look, and you look dumb, with that excuse for make up." Guts pulls out his throwing dagger, glowing with the light of the diamond, and his Lifestealer in his other hand. Slowly, and with a sense of foreboding, Guts spoke: "You awaken demons. Your madness caused your own child to turn batshit, and caused your own husband to die. You are the cause for so much suffering, and now you turned this child into the mindless undead, along with whoever else is here. I have fought your kind before, mages that go insane for the power they crave. You are the impersonation of EVERYTHING I am against. You know, the truth is, that you are weak, you take your power from the suffering of others. You must be purged. I don't know if the undead can feel pain, but I will try my best. Zoot can go piss himself."

Update tomorrow. Tomorrow is also my last exam, so things should move a little smoother.

Guts quickly turns to Nerwen, and asks: "Is there anything you can do for the boy? You better think up something quick, it'll get hairy in here." To the necromancer, Guts says: "So... for the ritual to work. The boy needs to be... alive. Any way to make that happen?"

The crates are filled with sand, the barrel is filled with salt. Atramor does not need any of it, so he leave them alone, for now. Skrall gets no answer. -
I'm not going to answer that, you can make up your own stories.
-
"Keep telling yourself that, but remember, the ladies love jewelry. I'm pretty sure that won her over. She seemed quite pleased. You know, maybe I'll even get to ride on her back sometime. Can you say the same?"
-
"I don't screw things up. Remember who got the overgrown lizard to talk. And relax, I got this."
-
"Oh? That ain't what I remember, I remember me killing a dozen spiders while you were, I don't know, polishing your nails or something." Guts stronly whispered to Benji. "Are you trying to get us killed? One wrong move and we will all be looking like him." Guts points at Dreygur.
-
"Shush elf. Sorry, Miss Ziegfried, this elf here has much to learn in the finer crafts of our cultistness. We would request that we could take a look at your flock, we really require this Shaun. He is absolutely VITAL to our experiments. Zoot will rise, and it better be sooner rather than later, hah. Hah."
-
"What does he look like? Err... Does he have skin?"
-
"No, we are of... Waldurkian... Zoot... Power... Movement, that's right, the W.Z.P.M. We are more progressive, and have no problems with the living! You see, we still have the occasional dead person, like the vampire there, but you could say our numbers have really spiked since the change in rule!" Guts turns to Skuld and whispers to her: "How does Shaun look? It's important."

Imagine a Brooklyn accent. "[You speak Rat? Well, well, well. You want to know about the guy that lives here? I love that guy! He leaves bread and cheese out here for us, not like the lady down the street, who only leaves crumbs. I was telling my buddy Tony earlier, I haven't seen him for a while now. Guess he's on vacation, or something. But what I bet you wanna know, yesterday, I saw two guys in black and brown enter the building, don't know if they are gone yet. So lady, a deal's a deal. How about that cheese?]" -
Guts tried his best to impersonate his best cultist: "Don't worry, not here to stay, just passing through. Zoot's wisdom to you, and all that. We're looking for this kid named Shaun, who may or may not have passed through here, we need him... for some rituals, obviously. You know, sacrifices, whatever it is we do. Seen him?" Guts continued: "Our... master commanded that! See here, this guy." Guts pats on Hybros's back. "He is our grand master, we are just his acolytes. Doesn't he uhh, look delightfully evil? Zoot rules, and all that!"

Heroica RPG - Quest #40: The Strivvian Job

The party first backtracks to the docks where they first came on land, and then follow the directions they got from the man in black. They go the other way, they pass a giant, sandstone castle, multiple inns that Boomingham looks in longinly, and finally they see a giant temple made out of black granite and dark sandstone, rising from the cliff. It is not long before the party has found the Archeologist's house. They were told to look for the house with the purple door, and there seems to be only one. However, when the party stands in front of the building, which seems to be made out of old sandstone too, unlike most other buildings, they notice the door is opened... How will the party proceed? -
Little secret, we have internet here too.
-
"Damn. I have a bad feeling about this. Little girl, stay close to us, there's no telling what, or who lurks in these ruins." Guts was not bothered by the heat, he came from far to the south, where the sun always shines, after all. Still, the ever cool Lifestealer helped. Guts aimed his Telescope at the building and looked through it, hoping to spot something.
-
I thought about it. I imagine it is a temple, but people also trade, so imagine stalls IN the temple, there could also be something like a bank in the temple. I think that sort of thing is kinda fitting. I imagine Jeff Bridges playing Boomingham.

Ragnarök Now - Day Three

Thank you for answering, I feel like we get further this way than if we would all stuff ourself with sausages for the rest of the day. Not that that is not a manly thing to do, but I'm a woman. So there you go. Some follow up questions, if you will. Sigmund, you say the case against Hervi is the most convincing, I would tend to agree, but there is not really another case laid out today, unless you count the one against me? Perhaps, could you suggest someone else who is suspicious? Like who would you lynch instead of Hervi, if we could not lynch him, hypothetically speaking? Canute, No offense, but your last part of your statement kind of reminds me of Gerrid. Only the other way around. What do you think can be gained by witholding suspicion? I can understand not wanting to lay out a case, or say it if it's all just a hunch or feelings, but it's very possible some of us see things others have not, is there not anything you could share? I think if we speak our minds, the scum will have a hard time keeping up, since they will have to make things up, giving more chance they slip. Also something I do not quite get, do you really feel that it's or Dragmall, orHervi? I'll be honest, I don't really feel that way. If you do feel that way, can you perhaps please tell me why? Wary, thank you for clearing that up, that does seem plausible. -

Sorry, was waiting for you to decide where to go. "Just go south, when you hear the sounds of whips, the shouting of people praising their slaves, and the cries of the slaves themselves, you're there." Where will the party go? They could go to the Slave Markets, or the Archeologist's house. The party determines that if they want to be back on time as they agreed with Purple, they can only visist one location today.
