  1. The raider got up after killing the last Croc. He offered a small piece of cloth to Nerwen for her eyes, then proceeded to check out the cargo while the others tended to the captive. If he understood Chiman customs correctly, this ship was now... theirs. Guts picked up one of the apples from the open crates, and let's out a short chuckle at the Bonaparte's words. He replied: "You and your brother look exactly alike except for the eyepatch, correct? We found out he got rid of it to some... girl of low standard. Wouldn't be surprised if the eye was in fact healthy. What I am saying is that I am a very distrustful person, and hate working under false pretenses. Who do you say you are, and how can you prove it?"
  2. I think a triple powered hit is pretty good, which is what a Hunter's shield is if the enemy is already favoured.
  3. Uhhh... I'm checking real quick and I can't find anything. It's just in case the Watch catches him: "It' wasn't me, sir, I swear! The alcohol made me do it!"
  4. Oh I am sorry, I didn't here you over the sound of Lifestealer killing everything.
  5. No! It's not Ratbane. It's better than Ratbane, that's the whole point!
  6. Sandy, you did Lifestealer's effect as +3 health for each enemy hit. If that's how you think it should be done, that's very fine with me, but everybody else always did just +3 even when hitting multiple enemies. What is the correct way? Or QM's discretion? that's fine too!
  7. "Pitiful trick. Now die." Guts cares not for your status effects, he quickly bites the cork off a remedy, gulps it down, and attacks again. I try, I try.
  8. No defense? No worries, got consumables! Yeah I realise, it's up to Sandy, I guess.
  9. Hate to be negative, but I hope this is false information. The Simpsons is dying, (finally), and this seems like a move to make it "hip with the kids again." TLG, don't do it! Don't let the Simpsons drag you down! I can already imagine the commercials: "Your two favorite yellow people, COMBINED!" Ugh.
  10. Which would effectively result in either no benefit to rogues after all or no one willing to fight rogues. I know I wouldn't want to fight an enemy that can take my stuff, I already think that there are enemies that can do it is a bad thing.
  11. I hate to say it, but Eric isn't lucky...
  12. I don't see what you mean, if the reason is they are blatantly overpowered in there as that is the only reason now, then that should be taken away, yes. I say they only get roughly the same stats as others, not an effective doubling in output and halving of input because of row advantage. And Rogues should never be able to gain gold in anything other than Quests, it will lead to very easy moneymaking. I will try to whip something up tomorrow so I can illustrate my points.
  13. And no, it would not be like 7, there would be no capturing, no introduction to evil villains, no forced fighting each other and no anagrams.
  14. It's good that you are working on different rules, some of the rules are really weird, but those calculations are still hard to accept. At higher levels especially, hits of 100+ before doublings things will become common soon-ish. Here is what should happen how I see it: Remove Rows. They have no place in the arena. They give a distinct advantage to back row-weapons, either twice as much damage dealt than the front row fighter (if the front row fighter chooses to go back row), or half damage taken and twice as much damage dealt if the front row fighter goes to the front row. In normal situations this is countered by a rogue's money making or the barbarian's AoE and Extra Critical Hit, but there is no money making in the arena, and no AoE potential (unless group fights are introduced, which I would like to see). This is just one thing. SP and the ridiculous high possibility for attacks are different points. I don't have solid proposals for how to solve these problems (yet), but I will think about it. I have been thinking about hosting a relatively shortquest that is basically a tournament with players both having the option of fighting each other and NPC's as well, which I may do soon (Yes I know, Quest 40 is not done).
  15. It's already quick, and some classes are already severely advantageous (is that a word, I'm going to say probably), I would actually like to see it go to the other way, but there you go. Point is that Heroes are designed to kill Enemies, not other Heroes. All stats point that way. Row, SP, probably WP should probably work different to have a balanced PVP situation. Which I would like to see. What would happen is that in Pvp you won't have much use of your own specialization and style, but you should have much more chance of an epic showdown.
  16. Gold Reaper is an 1/6 chance to assassinate each enemy + gold equal to each enemy's level. No damage!
  17. I would just allow them to finish it, it shouldn't take too long anyway, and it's more of a shame to have it broken off than have to go through the trouble of postponing/finishing later. Not that it matters much, it's just an Arena fight, but you know, sometimes you want to show someone who's boss. Please don't take any offense, but the Arena rules aren't very... good. They don't really entice play in there for the most part. It's good that it's there, but does anyone else feel it could use a revamp?
  18. Guts quickly downs a Grand Potion, before unleashing two attacks on the Captain again. "Hmpf. Biting. Barbaric Chiman scum."
  19. I have exams in a week, so sorry, but no.
  20. Guts grins wickedly as the Crocs attacked. They did not stand a chance. He attacks Dundee twice from the front row.
  21. Guts raised an eyebrow: "I'm not sure what that means. Pretty sure we should save this guy whoever he is."
  22. Guts added, still intimidating: "I don't see why we're still talking, these overgrown lizards don't even have half a shot, they are coldblooded, guess what my weapon is. Very. Cold." The raider said quietly to Nerwen: "I hope you are not serious about paying?"
  23. In my opinion, Way too much loot, and high level loot, if the party is lower than level 6, they'd probably be in a lot of trouble really quickly, so it's probably too hard as well. And you're only making it more complicated with that many specials.
