That's actually what Guts was getting at with what he said right after they'd found Nemo.

Most quests would be in our minds and the other half would be fighting wanna-be Gods, sometimes together. Pfff!

You can't treat my ship like it's some bloody horse.

Honestly, if some guy tricked you, tried to enslave your husband and was very close to actually murdering you, your husband and three people that worked for you, giving them the blame in the process, and stealing your husband's identity and taking away everything you worked for, what would you do? Brother in law or not, I'm not sure I'd go through the effort of saving him. Did they? Couldn't they just fly away? Anyways, it's mentioned somewhere that much of Eubric's tech comes from the Ji-Pei, so not actually a secret. And that has two sides, they are also not sharing. For Guts, he doesn't really know anything about the Ji-Pei, but he does know that the Bonapartes (or better said: their fleet) are vital. So I say Attina! King Guts is still a possibility!

You can't really think yourself as being oppressed if you have superior technology over everyone else and flying ships, I'm just saying.

There is the Harlot expert class. Close enough.
-
Nah, he had an appearance in Quest 34, pretty sure we couldn't kill him then! Not that Guts knew who he was or recognized him from then.
-
What I'm hoping is that the ship is a plot device that could potentially used by QM's, if they wish.

Guts lingered at the ballistrade the green ship after they had arrived at solid ground again. His ship. For one third, anyway. The raider wondered how they'd deal with that. The Nord was probably unable to reason with, so it was more than likely they would not reach an agreement on how to best use the ship. The raider would like to own a ship, it would probably be a good investment. This colour would have to go, as well as the blood-red sails and the numerous barbaric symbols and seemingly randomly scattered bones and the like, it sticked out like a sore thumb. The Junk-type ship looked fast though, and even with the three of them it was incredibly easy to sail. It could use some armaments as well, perhaps he could get his hand on a couple of cannons, or a small ballista... Strivvian arms merchant all over again. That reminded him, didn't they have a hold full of fruit? Shouldn't they do anything with it before it went bad? He'd have to discuss these things with Nerwen, and maybe Eric too, although he hoped he could convince him to give up his share of the ship. The Raider sighed, grabbed a basket of apples from the hold, and started walking towards the Hall.

Thank you very much for the Quest, Sandy, it was really fun, and interesting to see what happened. It was short and sweet I'd say!

Heroica RPG - Quest #58: Brothers-in-Arms

The raider holds out the Eye for Hestia to pick up. "It's mechanical, metal and glass, and according to our pacifistic friend here, the symbol on it belongs to a certain Trident Company. I have to ask, how will you and your husband deal with this situation... Falconer?" -
An NPC from quest 40 that did not get nearly as much screentime as deserved.

"The Face" totally looks like Maxis.

As a heads up, Nerwen can't use the weapon. With it being a Longsword and all. "You can keep them, Nerwen." -

Mockingly, Guts clapped his hands: "Well well, how noble of you to not want an old, chipped sword or a few firecrackers." The nord seemed almost proud of turning down the loot, and he had handily circumvented explaining himself. The raider despised him. "Trident Company, huh. Not our problem." Guts wanted to get out of here, it was an isolated fort after all, if the Bonapartes decided to silence the Heroes for their part in this, they would either have to submit or take out the entire fort, probably doable, but Guts was already tired. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #58: Brothers-in-Arms

Guts wondered what the device was, and what purposed it served. A replacement eye, something else? It was clearly mechanical, but how, and why? Perhaps it wasn't even important and just superficial. He did not remember seeing that sigil before, but it could be a manufacturer's mark or something, like on weapons. He slipped the device in his pocket, after quickly showing the symbol to Nerwen and Eric, he would show it to Hestia, next time they'd see each other. He decided not to comment on Nerwen's dealing with Eric. Were it up to him... His first thought was that he would cut the Nord down where he stood, but was that really right? This wasn't an army at all, and how much loyalty did Eric really owe them? Would Guts not have done the same if it were the other way around? Perhaps. Still, he disobeyed his Leader's direct orders. It would be best to let the Elf deal with it her way. she was intelligent, after all, not to mention occasionally terrifying. The raider really was getting old. -
Well, I imagine she did not become a Veteran of Heroica by always following her husband's ideas... Strong women, man.
-
I think it's a sensible move for her, we haven't seen all that much from Hestia, but we do know she cares about the people of Eubric and her husband very much. If Reno was alive, there would always be strife. Makes sense to me.
-
I realize, but I thought there was a rule weapons could not have SP for this reason, it's hard to say when it is equipped. Also, Guts would have said something witty or tough-sounding, but Reno did not give any last words to work with.

Guts sighs, and mumbles: "Well..." He takes out his Hollow Dagger and attempts prying out the eye-thing. -
So... with it being equipped and being a weapon... I assume it only works when being used to fight in a round, not when doing anything else?

"Hm." The raider sheaths his blade after wiping off the blood from the last two strikes, then squats down at Reno's body, making sure his back does not face Eric. He turns the body around. -
No, it actually says Lavender when I hover over it, grey is not in the quick editor's colour list for me. It looks like this: Tadaa!i It looks fine for me. And I know Lavender is not Magenta, but deal with it.

Work. I don't have that...

Chrome is not without issues, it makes me unable to turn text into a light gray, that's why sometimes my out of character text is actually a light magenta colour.
