Why did he tell you that he was our vig? And how can you be so sure what killer is what? And hey, what's up, I'm good, is that supposed to be a pick-up line? Ugh, men. You saying you have your eye on me is not really going to help, not without reasons anyway.

Heroica RPG - Quest #58: Brothers-in-Arms

Heroica RPG - Quest #58: Brothers-in-Arms

Guts nodded at the veteran of Heroica, and shrugged: "I don't mind either way. If Nemo doesn't want our help, I doubt he'll be of much help to us, a bar on the other hand, has always got people that are willing to talk." The raider was paying more attention to his surroundings than to the actual conversation going on. The fort was even more impressive up close. If the rumours were true, that a burglar had broken into this place, they'd be darn good. My stats look good! -
Danny Dozenhands is a great villain, the way I see him anyway. He is the epitome of a Gangster. I also had another great villain for Quest 40, which will come back hopefully in the continuation.

Guts buys a Magnifying glass and a Pickaxe at Gnomeo's, for (20+30=50 gold). He then swings by Anwyl's Smithey, where he upgrades Lifestealer to WP: 28 (250+260+270+280 = 1060) He also has his Opal infused with his Dancing Shoes, for 50 gold. This leaves Guts with 168 Gold (1328-50-1060-50).
-
Guts grabs the half empty bottle of wine and leaves the table, without saying another word. He did not need to check the Questing Board to know that he was chosen. They'd be stupid not to.
-
Guts' mouth turns to a thin smile, and sits back down: "I thought you'd say something like that. I am not going to argue my intentions with a madman that doesn't realize he is mad. And potions? Far more reliable than the average Healer."
-
Guts stands up, knocking over several glasses on the table in the process, it's clear the wine had started to get to Guts, but he stood still, and his eyes were bright. "This 'crowd' has more right to be here than anyone, and especially more than you. Fight me, heretic, and we'll see if your claim is real. Surely your god will grant you victory."
-
"You claim to be hundreds of years old. No man is. That makes you a lunatic. I could crush you with one hand tied behind my back, monk. You may think you serve some god, but this is not the place to spread such nonsense. Leave."
-
He did claim vanilla earlier.
-
He's done nothing to disprove those supsicions though. Clearly a lot of people are suspicious of him, hence the votes, yet Jordan calls people out for having a bad attitude and things like that. That doesn't really do anything to take away suspicion
-
Guts that had been quietly drinking bottle after bottle, said after the Monk's latest monologue: "You're delusional. You realize that, right?"

With 11 (?) People voted for Jordan, we need two more to have a lynch. I think we should have a lynch, I'm not against no lynches per se, but depending on what happens at night, we will probably play the game on the scum's terms. The lynch looks like it's going to be Jordan's, He has disappeared, again. Both candidates are suspicious to me, honestly. I really don't think Jordan's attitude (You have one, dude), is one of a towny. He was threatening the town before he was in danger of getting lynched, and continues with the "You'll see, I can't wait to flip town!" That's not particuarly town behaviour. Mary I feel should also be contributing more than she is now, if she's town. She keeps making short statements that say: "It was a mistake." "What the other guy did was worse." I don't know what to think... What I mean to say is, people, please make sure we get a lynch. I will be busy for a lot of the remaining day, but keep in mind we need 13 votes to lynch, and it's currently 8/13 for Mary and Jordan respectively. Also, there are two people that haven't voted yet. Why is that? Those two are Matthew and Susan.

Reassignment should be assignment, of the numbers that is. I think the many hours I spend in the water have taken away my ability to say the right words. It's a real condition, look it up. I did not get that attitude from him at all. Just that he wants to lynch you, but alright. And we do have a plank, but you need to be this tall to jump from it, and it only goes into the pool.
-
By buddy I mean he followed the same trajectory as you, if you remember: Say you don't have one and then later changing that. By the way Jordan, it's funny that your big reveal is the same thing I suggested way back as a possibility. And dude, it's a building contest, the captain said so, do you not trust the captain? Any theories about reassignment don't really seem to be relevant anymore, or am I saying something wrong here? Sooo... If we would lynch you, someone suspicious, claiming vanilla and all, we would have broken the town? I'm not so sure, to be honest. I must say, Mary's contributions do align with what I remember usual for her when she's in an evil mood... I think either lynch would be good. I'm optimistic about this!
-
That was in there because that's what your buddy Jordan did, believe it or not.
-
Well, I think you're suspicious, and I want to get you to talk. And talking you do. Not very counterproductive if you ask me... I don't see any contradiction, read it again, slowly. I understand you want others to think like what I said was wrong, but it really makes sense. I just realized something. We are letting someone that forgot his own name get away with it? He used that as an excuse? Have you ever forgotten your own name? That's just stupid. Hell no. Bill, I still want an answer from you, please. Unvote: Bill (Capt. Redblade) Vote: Jordan (Tamamono)
-
I meant what HE SAID, obviously. Water in my ears, it confused me.
-
For now I will vote: Bill (Capt. Redblade). I have a pretty meta-gamey reason why I think what exactly I said. The scum like to lie as little as possible, because every lie could be caught, right? Let's say he was right when he said he didn't saw in his PM that he had a crew number. Let's say he checked and didn't see it. How could that happen? We have established that you either have to be very dense to miss it, or not check, or lying. Since we also know that everybody that goes on cruises is at least moderately intelligent, the first option is out. So what happened? He did check his PM, only his PM, was a group scum PM, that did not have the individual information on it, the part including the number, at least.
-
I'm not sure if that's what we're supposed to believe, honestly. That's two pretty dumb mistakes. Surely a teen pop star like you would have the brains not to make those? In all seriousness, if both of those things are true (and you are town), could you please make less mistakes? Makes it all a lot easier for everyone but the scum.
-
I'm pretty sure that isn't accurate, Babs. Jordan, do you still want to explain yourself, I'd appreciate it. Also Bill, your explanation was the same as what you already said, with an added apology: You apparantly missed it. I will repeat myself: If you are looking for the number, it is impossible to miss it. I'd like to point out Jordan is going out of his way, after long consideration, not to answer to either me or Stacy when attention was raised at him. Not want to dwell too much on this, but that's what he likes to do when he's up to no good. (I'm a fan)
-
Well. Thanks, Stacy.
-
At this point it just seems so random. Mary's number is standing out, being a non retail set and all. Could it just have to do with sets that Mr. Bob owns? Is there a way to find that out? Most sets are also City, would it be so easy as City = Town? City = Vanilla townie maybe? I'd still like an explanation from Jordan and Bill. It's pretty impossible to check to see if you have a number and not seeing it, there really isn't much information there. So that was a lie.
-
It's interesting to me that people want to steer the conversation AWAY from these numbers. I don't think we should base everything on them, but we definitely shouldn't ignore them. Why would we get these numbers, which, with one odd exception, coincide with Lego Sets. if it doesn't mean anything? Answer: we wouldn't get them if they weren't going to be used/stand for something. It's not like we got a lot of other useless information as well, at least I didn't. They are good conversation material anyways. I think it's always good to assume our enemy is smart. I saw the connection right away, let's assume the Scum did too. Now we should just wonder what they mean, and until someone is dead, or we get some sort of activity involving them, I don't we can. It's entirely possible that scary/non city sets mean scum. It's unlikely, but possible.
-
At least it's something, perhaps the results mean little or nothing, but I doubt it. If it didn't mean anything, we would not have them, I reckon. What I am interested about is that we had two people that "missed" having a crew number. I doubt that is true. Could you perhaps elaborate why you decided not to share your crew number at first, it does seem like something someone with a guilt concience would do. I totally understand not wanting to share them in the case they mean something that could help someone other than the town, but first saying you don't have one and then later sharing them anyway, that is odd, to me. Crew number/passenger number, you know what I mean. Hey, no diving.
