  1. Hey, that would be perfect for a purist LEGO Xenophilius Lovegood figure.
  2. Great design, hopeso009! I'm not a huge fan of brick built creatures but some of them are just amazing, just like this one. It works perfect with the LEGO troll. And the different heads/with helmet are also nice.
  3. That's just more than fantastic. The landscaping is marvelous, and the numerous details added to the castle are also great. Great job RebelRock, as always.

    The Burrow

Thanks Striker. Oh, and in the Harry Potter series it is 'love' that has to be strong with you.

    The Burrow

Thanks guys. The inside has a few bricks stacked on eachother so the upper part can't fall over, but I am considering an interior (because the upper part is pretty stabilized, it rests against the roof), I'll see about that interior. I'm not sure if I will decorate the upper parts from the inside, but I will make the ground floor for sure. And I've been blogged on The Brothers Brick with this, and with everyone's positive comments, that just makes my day.

    The Burrow

Thanks for the comments everyone, I really appreciate it! Woah, Cutlass_Iz, you're making me blush . Oh, and I'll probably add an interior soon, but we'll see about that.
  7. This is so spectacular! The mountain looks so massive and huge, but also very well detailed. I like the caves underground with some action in it, really nice. On the surface it seems like there is also a lot of action going one, great job. My favorite part must be the griphons, man they are awesome! Such a great design for those creatures and also unique. Fantastic work, SlyOwl!

    The Burrow

I wanted something to do between my Hogwarts project that didn't used any of my tan pieces. That's a hard one, because I really like to use tan pieces in my buildings. To stay in the Harry Potter universum I thought I'd give The Burrow a try, the home of the Weasleys (and Harry's second real home after Hogwarts). I have worked on it yesterday and this morning I added the details and greenery. This afternoon I took the pictures and I've just finished the editting of the background. It was fun to make, I think the result is good. I hope it's recognazible to the Harry Potter fans! http://www.flickr.com/photos/30479264@N06/3603963270/ http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/MaTn/MOC...ow/img_2990.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/MaTn/MOC...ow/img_2995.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/MaTn/MOC...ow/img_2998.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/MaTn/MOC...ow/img_3006.jpg Brickshelf folder after moderation: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=386633 Thanks for viewing!

    LEGO Hogwarts

Thanks for the encouragement! Your wife's Hogwarts is really awesome! It's very recognasible, the lake is also nice with the giant squid in it. The Hogwarts' Express is also very well made. And that Burrow is nice, actually, I am going to make one this weekend if I'll get it ready. I didn't knew there was someone else making a cool LEGO Hogwarts display; thanks for the links and information. I'm looking forward to pictures of the new one. EDIT: I've made a second version which looks a lot better, I think. Suggestions? Ideas?

    LEGO Hogwarts

(Hogsmeade has been in my mind for a couple of days now. It would become too big if add this part, but a small forest including a little village would make it so much more interesting and wicked. :D / Not sure if I will ever get to the right part (where the bridges are). But I will be very happy if I even could finish the left side of the castle.... This is a map of my LEGO Hogwarts project. A "what if"-map.* So, this isn't really in scale, of course! Or is it? It's an [overdone map]. ...Everything will be a little bit smaller, including the Great Hall. Eventually everything will be cramped together. And could someone tell me which towers are which? My only guess is that the biggest one is the North Tower. Oh, the circles are the towers. Ideas, suggestions? Please don't hesitate to comment! ;D *What if I could get all the money and pieces needed, what if will get the support I need, what if I won't get lazy half way, what if I don't buy any of the awesome LEGO 2009 sets ... You now the deal. Again, it's really, really overdone. http://www.flickr.com/photos/30479264@N06/3597925701/
  11. This is one of the coolest LEGO creations I've seen! The techniques used are really awesome, you've done a great job on the scenery and greenery. It fits prefectly together, and the big oak is also impressive. Those wizards are also great, what you have done for achieving that 'magic effect' is really inventive.
  12. Yeah, I also thought Ronald had shot Harry. Good episodes as usual!
  13. Ben10 Bionicle alike creatures? Meh, I don't like the show. But I hope it'll be good. This also doesn't give any hope on a revival of the Harry Potter theme. There are too many licenced themes at the moment.
  14. I totally agree with you Mr Spielbrick! It's just a pathetic reason to stop the LEGO Harry Potter licence. And I've always said that. Star Wars is way more darker than Harry Potter and all the magic that goes with it. It would be great of LEGO to start making sets again, I wonder what they would come up with. But it is just hope, I don't think there won't be actually sets. If I'm wrong, I couldn't be happier! And as Mr Spielbrick said, this game will introduce loads of characters from the movie and films with a new face. I am planning to make my own custom minifigures based on Harry Potter, because well, the fleshies now come a bit boring after a while. It will be easy to base my decals on the in-game figures.
  15. Thanks for the topic, but I've already made a topic including all the information about the game and also a link to the videoclip. It can be found in the Multimedia/games board: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=29674
  16. Flickr is indeed brilliant. Your pictures get published just the way you've uploaded them; without any loss of quality. You can upload 200 pictures when you aren't a paying member. I think I will upgrade very soon.

This is going to be awesome. This game makes up the lack of sets for the last movies. Although it's only year 1-4, I'm pretty sure they will develop a game for all the movies and books (just like LEGO Star Wars: the complete saga). This is going to be so awesome. Oh wait, I already said that!
  18. Thanks. Nice picture! Oh, I just placed my camera on a tripod, and then I pressed the button and searched a seat. Waited 10 seconds and the camera took a picture. And I did that three times, and them I put it all together in Photoshop. ^^ Yes, that's a normal one from the Prisoner of Azkaban. And there's also one right behind me (me in the middle) from the Order of the Phoenix. You can see the Prophecy bowlthingy. It's a massive, big movie poster. Hah, UniqueBuilder, looks like there was a serious party out there. I can only hope you didn't drink from that pink liquid. D:
  19. Hah, that's another good episode. I really liked the first part, where everybody switches their hair. It's pretty random, but I found it really funny. I then imagine them speaking, and they all speak so monotone and normal, like it's normal to switch hairstyles every now and then. And the kitchen is built very well. Good job! (Hmm, this is giving me the idea to copy the Harry Potter series in a LEGO comic book, if you know what I mean... )
  20. I liked this set, actually, I was considering to buy it! It looks so big and great on the box, but in real live, on the pictures in this review, it looks pretty ugly. And it's way too small! It doesn't look impressive, the box is lying. Lying! Thanks for the review.
  21. I Scream Clone; thanks for the information. I did a good search on Bricklink, but I hadn't found that Italian store. I kept it around Belgium/Netherlands/France/Germany. But I guess, with these quantities I could go further in Europe. Thanks for the info. And I'll think about that Perterz, I'll keep it in mind. I've done an order on those cilinders, so I can only hope I will have enough.
  22. As much as I could get my hands on. So, I prefer as much as possible at once, but every little piece (batch) is welcome.
  23. I would also love to come, but I really can't say it at this moment. It all depends on how to get there, and with what money (so, if I have a good paying job by then, say I'm there).
  24. Well, I guess it's time to show my face here. I've experimented with something today, and I'm really satisfied with the result. I've done it over for like 20 times, I got tired of it and tried it one last time. And it worked perfectly that last time. I am probably going to do more things like this. Well, here it is:
  25. That's really great! It looks good like the actual LEGO tank. The colors are fantastic and the look goes really well with Squiddy. And I'm impressed by your amounts of Squiddy figures!
