I don't care about the Chinese quality parts that these parts are (or probably something in between). It's still pretty cheap and it's LEGO. Compared to the minifigure collections, these are far more better deals! The figures are very special, and this one also. I just love that hairpiece. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Review: Amazing Armory (Hazel) Guitar Set
Matn replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
No problem then, the beautiful packaging makes up for that. Where did you buy yours, as I can't seem to find a store that also sells the orange headpiece? -
Oh, I can't wait to get my hands on these minifigures. I would love to get this one a second time just for the parts, because I think I would like to collect and keep them all. Her face doesn't look very happy though, but it will be very useful. Thanks for the review!

Review: Amazing Armory (Hazel) Guitar Set

Very nice review, it has convinced me to get me some of these. However... Did it cost very much? I'm thinking about buying the wonderful headpieces and a Telecaster(/or is it a Statocaster) and a Gibson. I'm not into non-purist ideas, but I would love to get me some of these. The plastic seems of excellent quality and the hairpieces look pretty unique. -
Blergh! But that snake! That would be an awesome snake to use as Nagini, Voldemort's big guard/pet snake if it would be in green.

And of course, with Clive Owen. I haven't seen District 9, I hope to see it soon, but Children of Men is a must see anyway. I think it's because of this film the third Harry Potter film is my favorite, because it's the same awesome director. Children of Men is a great film with great filming techniques and a touching story.

I also watched it a few days ago. Yes, it was over the top, and yes it was so awesome and enjoyable. Sometimes I can really enjoy a good action film, but then is has to be with actors and like and it has to have new things in it. Clive Owen is an actor I really enjoy watching and there were a bunch of new ways to get rid of the villains. I laughed every time Smith did something ridiculous. It was a bit like Crank, but better with the things that happened it the film. A must see if you like to switch of your brain every once in a while and enjoy a good action film!

I this actually permitted? Selling prices you won for nothing? And wouldn't CopMike be dissapointed, as he put a lot of work (and probably a lot of money) in getting these wonderful figures together? I'm sure you could build a nice MOC with one or a few of these figures.

Thanks for the nice comments, I really appreciate it! As for the fiber cable, I didn't had any other choice because trans-clear bricks don't look good and for some reason I lost my only trans-clear bar.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like it.

Now I have to investigate if there's such a store nearby as I live just next to the French border! Just to get my hands on that small promo, looks excellent!

Awesome creation! I love the nature and all the action going on. The water is especially nicely done. I like the way you did the shore, with white bricks beneath. All the splashes give it a very natural feeling. Your other creations are also amazing. I especially like the mill. Great job on the photography also!

Pollution will lead to the apocalypse. If it won't be war, aliens or zombies, then it will be pollution. At night, a traveller is taking a rest near a creek. Together with his dog he is enjoying the nature. But soon his joyful day will be ruined... A couple of gangsters are polluting the creek with chemicals by orders of a huge chemical company. This is Danny the daredevil. At the age of six he's the youngest professional surfer in the world. He doesn't even need the leash for proper surfing. And he is so good that he has already managed to grow a beard! http://www.flickr.com/photos/30479264@N06/4431441971/ http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/191932 It was actually pretty hard to let it float. I had a normal sized Miniland figure, but it just didn't work out so I had to make it this small. Not very special, but oh well.

I'm slowly taking pieces from my Café Corner. I really shouldn't do it, but it has too many good and useful pieces. I would love to buy a second one just for the pieces, but right now I haven't even bought the Green Grocer! Perhaps I'll better get them all and just leave them alone in my tabletown. That's what I should to.

This amazing machine was once owned by Sirius Black. Rubeus Hagrid got the motorcycle to take Harry Potter to his uncle and aunt. Harry was also taken away with this vehicle from his uncle and aunt in the Deathly Hallows. There were some new functions and a sidecar installed. Later Arthur Weasley got hold of it, and customized it still further. It's a little bit based on the 1959 Triumph 650 T 120 Bonneville, used in the Harry Potter films. This is the flying motorcycle with the sidecar attached. I doesn't look the way I really wanted, but after hours of breaking it apart and building again I decided to use this. Perhaps I'll update it later. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4388858 http://www.flickr.com/photos/30479264@N06/4429726740/ http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/191662 Thanks for looking! Tips and comments are appreciated.

Great find! That's an awesome collection of LEGO commercials. I was going to download them, but there are just too many of them. Perhaps I'll do the ones I enjoy the most, like the LEGO Castle of LEGO Harry Potter ones.

Thanks for this "review"! I like that new bar. Hopefully LEGO'll release it also in brown/grey/tan/black as LEGO Harry Potter wands!

Very nice vignette indeed! It's nice to see some more Harry Potter creations around lately. I like all the potions, but what jumps out is the way you made the socks of Hermoine. Nice job! And that last picture made me laugh.

I finally watched No Country For Old Men. I can't say I was disappointed, but I just didn't like the ending that much. I know, it gives you some ideas around violence... But I mainly watch films to relax. Action flicks to turn my brain off for a couple of hours, but in deep films I get really caught up in it and I wasn't "rewarded" in the end. It reminded me of the ending of the Sopranos. I don't hate those kind of endings, I'm just not a big fan of those. Let's say I don't like to watch too many such endings around the same time. Other than that, No Country For Old Men was filmed greatly with some very good actors. I liked it very much, although most of my friends who also watched it switched away or found it a bit on the boring side. It's just the ending that got a bit in the way... I expected a big ending, it was built up like that. Anyway, now I'll have to make list of big films I haven't seen yet from the last couple of years and start to watch them.

Judging the top 250 list of IMDb, I have already seen plenty of them but not at all. That's not a big deal since I'm only 17 and I've only recently became "serious" interested in films. I've picked out some well known films I haven't seen yet. Most of them are "older" films, from before the 1990's. The Godfather series I haven't seen yet, but I've seen Goodfellas (which I enjoyed very much). A lot of war movies, except for Saving Private Ryan I also haven't seen yet. I've only seen The Shining from Kubrick's work. I had the opportunity to see Avatar, but it just doesn't interest me at all... I think I'll start a DVD collection, including the films that seem interesting to me in the top 50 or so...

I'm never going to forget the day it happened. We were on holiday near the Caribbean Islands. On the 7th of August 1997 he went scuba diving in the Atlantic ocean. All by himself. It's been almost 13 years since we saw him last. More pictues at: MOCpages: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/190542 Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=423706 It's an entry for the Atlantis category in the MOCathalon contest on MOCpages. Unfortunately I only just discovered that I've forgotten flippers... Let's say he lost them on his way to the statue? Thanks for looking!

When I was a few year youngers I bought almost every set I liked. Now I contemplate a bit whether to buy a set or not. I try to get my hands on bigger sets when there are sales or something alike. There are only a few themes (like LEGO Harry Potter probably) for which I won't wait until they are priced lower. I usually try to buy all the sets of the theme I like most: LEGO Harry Potter. LEGO City also gets interest from me, but only the really nice sets (and most of the times not the biggest sets). In other interesting themes, like LEGO Atlantis or LEGO Castle, I usually buy the smaller sets up to +-15 euro. Sometimes, when it's a really nice set, I go up to 30 euro. It happens rarely I buy the bigger sets (around 80 euro) of themes, although I would love to. I would love to buy some more of the AFOL exclusives, especially the modular houses. I only have the Café Corner, but I would love to buy the Green Grocer and the newer ones. Oh, and the Medieval Market Village is also a must buy, but lately parts for MOCs have priority. Luckily I was able to find the Town Plan for a reasonable 120 euro, but I hadn't planned at all to buy it.

A UFO floats above the city and people are starting to panic. They don't know where it comes from or what is inside. Some say it are bloodthirsty aliens. Others say it are, judging by the shape of it, friendly aliens who seek contact. But it is a fact that this thing causes chaos all over the city. Meanwhile, a couple of nerds are content with the success of their prank. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/190261 ...You may be thinking: what the? I agree. It's a weird category in the MOCathalon contest on MOCpages. It's all about colourful cubes with some black attachments. And I couldn't stop thinking of a huge flying present. So here it is! Thanks for looking.

I actually hope they fix that "problem". I know I'm nitpicking, but it looks really too close to his eyes. The figure looks very young and is useful for Harry in his first two years. But if he indeed has an angry face (useful for so many scenes), then I hope that one looks older/has his mouth not so close to his eyes. If someone knows what I mean.
