Thanks Infernum, I don't do irregular bases often, but when I do they provide a fun change
-
My entry to Local Challenge 10 in the Lands of Classic-Castle. Building the irregular base was a fun change from my normal square/rectangle bases and trying to capture a festive atmoshpere was also fun. With the coronation of a new queen in Roawia, Lenfald citizens rejoice with many feasts and picnics. Here we see one such gathering: More pictures here: link Any C&C welcome

Indeed, Sir Glorfindel has no plans of leaving Mitgardia and would strongly encourage all Mitgardians to stay loyal to the Jarl and Elon Chorian -

Great landscaping, especially the river I like the use of tall inverted slopes on the castle too. I think if you had the castle extend to the edge of the bley rocks/foundation it would look better. Nice little interior too

Thanks, he has a bit of an advantage over most of us as he sees a lot of great AFOL builds -

Who else would he learn from I recently encouraged him to check out builds by people other than myself for inspiration, so we'll see what that brings about Thanks -
Thanks Masa, I needed someone to live in the castle and as I had recently finished my PM candidate I figured he'd be as good as any

Top-notch landscaping as always, the rock and dead tree are especially cool Excellent scaffolding too, I like that you put raised planks on it, adds a realistic touch

Thanks, this build: in particular I often looked at for inspiration -
Wow Incredible build, the multi level approach adds a unique aspect to the build and the boat and sea serpent are superb The use of wedge plates for the hull works really well and I don't recall seeing that design before. The waves convey a great sense of motion and the icebergs and rock formations are excellent Very glad to have you in Mitgardia

Thanks, there are a couple. Disco (Avalonia), MattiusXavier (Kaliphlin), and I'm sure there's more. Just having trouble thinking of them now Thanks, and I think Bruce did more than erase the background Looks like the colors were brightened a bit to me -

Thorshaven II - Storage and Merchant House

Great addition to your layout! The brick house has a lot of really nice details: the upper story doors/windows for receiving supplies, the crane, and the brickwork I also like the stone and wood building: The woodwork in the shop section is superb and I like the offset of the third story Keep up the good work -

They are for the Master Architect Challenge I'm hosting in which you are supposed to show repairs being done on an old building, or construction on a new building
