With it all over the news, it is pretty hard to ignore the Swine Flu outbreak. I just thought it would be interesting to see everyone's opinions on weather it should be taken seriously, or is being blown all out of proportion by the media? I think that it is a disease that should be monitored, but I don't think its necessary to alarm the public, which is too late. The condition is treatable, and is just like the normal flu, which hundreds, if not, thousands of people die from every day. The first death of the swine flu in the US occurred today, my prayers are with the family of the 23 month old that died. If this is too heavy of material, it can be deleted, its just I feel that this is a mature forum, and it would be nice to have a mature conversation about a problem in our world. I agree. On the instruction booklet, the picture of it with the bus stop make the perfect set. I hope they continue this public transportation line, as suggested in the TRU polls (Transportation Center as an option, and green and yellow taxis in nearly every picture) Very thorough review. For whatever reason it was, purple was never discontinued. There may have been plans of it, but they never ultimately went through. I think the purple canopy looks good in this set and adds some color to the otherwise dull set.

I've never been to extremes like, well, starving myself , but I have cut back on impulse spending on Lego and other things if I am planning on buying a larger in the near future.

Do you plan on doing a review? It would be very much appreciated. As for that Temple of Doom picture, it looks very nice. All of the new figures are looking quite spiffy, especially Willie with that blond hair...

Well, he hasn't turned up in Lego for around 10 years now, so I think there is a large amount of people who don't have him. I have one, but its really old and creaky .

I've been sent a nasty message by someone before, but by the time I read it, they were already taken care of and had the "BANNED" stamp. Maybe this was the case for you?

This does seem like a possible option. I don't think that this promo set has been seem anywhere else. Maybe its a collection of all of the recent promo Mini's (V-19, Grievous Fighter, TIE, Snowspeeder) available for purchase or free with certain $$$ order? As much fun as it is to speculate, I'm dying to know what it is. Watch it be something sucky and we are all let down...

No, I think that was just speculation, as whenever Lego gives anything away, you usually have to spend that much. I'm hoping you don't have to order over $100, as I just put in a S@H order last night. I'm hoping its a (cheap) exclusive set that will be available. Even if its the Hoth Base from the summer, I will be ecstatic!

I LOVE this little set! It is (Was? I don't think its still available at Target ) a fantastic value at $4. I'm so glad they sold this and Grievous's fighter there even just for a little while. Great thorough review of a great set! Thanks for sharing!

Um, I don't know anyone who would be exactly happy with their likeness being shot dead in a Lego MOC, but maybe they will be fine. I like your rock formation. I think that those are the only things I'm good at building as far as architecture or landscaping go. :laugh:

The kid refers to "My model" in nearly every descroption. Almost seems he is trying too hard to claim it as his own. I hope this punk gets what he deserves...

I had been excited about this set since I first saw it. It is a cheap-ish set with great figures and pieces. The camper itself looks great, and even has a clever opening function. While the interior may be juniorozed, I think its better than nothing. This set will be great for display. Thanks for sharing this review with us.

For beating a !!! :laugh: Completely innapropriate, even though its completely true. *BACK ON TOPIC* I personally think that the Disney theme could be done very well by Lego, or very poorly. If the initial wave of sets is good, they will sell, and the line will prosper for a while. If they are bad, well, I can't see things going too well... Lego has a big chance with this massive liscense. Either they do it superbly, or fail miserably.

I saw that on Brickshelf and was going to post it here. That's terrible. Why would you need that many? Especially when there are loyal buyers like us that are hoping for the best... I'm sure they will end up selling those (for a steep price ), I know they have every right to, but it just seems a little unfair to the rest of us. Why can't Lego just send us all each a Vader and we will all be happy?
