I love that! Rotta was one of my favorite parts about the Clone Wars movie! Thats a funny backstory you wrote... One more thing, are the colored highlights brown or dark red? Its hard to tell...

I love how everyone pretty much ignored/looked over that comment. What was it? Or were you sworn to secrecy?

What bag? Are you seeing things?

There is a survey. They are called sales reports. Be as optimistic as you want to, but I have doubts about this line continuing. This years set are already remakes, next year there is Disney, the odds are just against poor Spongebob. As much as I like the sets, I think they should quit while they are ahead, if they were going to do new designs, they would have done them before redoing sets from not even 3 years ago...

I really like this set, and hope maybe I can find it cheap one day. All of the cars are fantastic, and the building seems to be minifig scale (unlike the cars ) Great review, thanks for sharing.

Save the Galaxy < Protecting my keys (???) That was pretty funny! Nice post.

One thing always brings a smile to my face. A good "That's what she said" joke.

Hinckley, this is just great. Its probably one of the most realistic buildings done in Lego I've ever seen, it looks just like the original. I love your new site, and wish you good luck with further commissions. Maybe someday you will design one of the modular buildings for TLC. That would be great!

Has anyone cared to note the "Minifigure Image not Final?" That book seems like a steal, and I hope it will be like the fantastic Lego DK book from the 90's (which I proudly got from a dollar store ). And, I don't have a Luke figure, and I don't plan on buying any sets with him in it before September. I am pretty excited for this book!

Maybe you could continue all of this shipping nonsense in the thread that was started for news about the Dropship set? If you think the shipping is so terrible, you could wait until Lego does the "Free Shipping over $99" deal again. I'm not trying to do the staff's job, it is just annoying to look for news and discussion (About the sets, NOT when yours is shipping) and find all of this nonsense. -darthperson

If anything, its probably just a coincidence. If not, I suppose you could sue if you wanted...

I think it is best we just drop it. You said it, and it wasn't nice, even if you apologized. I don't think that the Nick and Disney lines can coexist. They are companies that definitely seem to be competition for one another, and I don't know if they would both be signed on with Lego at the same time. There are still some Spongebob sets they can do before the line is up...

Is it me, or does it seem like this guy could pass as Mawhonic? Nice review by the way...

I don't think that there will be any news until the summertime....

To all of you who are considering buying the dropship on eBay for lots of more money- surely you can't be serious? The set already cost an arm and a leg to begin with, but to spend hundreds of more dollars to buy it on eBay (and shipping) just to get it a few days earlier just seems foolish to me. It would probably be cheaper to drive to the nearest Lego store, even if it is in a different state, to buy it. You all can do what you want, but it just seems like a poor decision to me. If it were me, I would wait and order it from S@H and use the money I would have wasted on a scalper to buy something more useful. No wonder why the world is in the economic situation it is in... Just my two cents.

One of the things I've learned this week is to keep "colorful" opinions to myself on EB. I don't know if any of the staff has read over this thread, but if they do, I'm sure they won't be too happy about that. Another thing I've had a refresher on is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If he wants to say he hates it, he has every right to. You have a right to say you love them, don't you? You didn't design the sets, I really don't see why you are so offended. The last thing I've learned this week is that if I don't like something, look away. No one's forcing you to agree with, or even look at the comments of other people. There are tons of people out there who bash Lego, but we don't sit on this board and complain about them. We give our own opinions. -darthperson

There is no way that they will make Ahsoka a Sith. She was created for this show, which is targeted at kids, so I doubt they will turn her evil. For these same reasons, I think they will take a non-death route for her fate, I think it would be kinda cool to see her in Force Unleashed 2.

Something tells me a "Find the exclusive brown mustache!" giveaway wouldn't be too exciting as far as promotions go.

Very nice diorama you have there. Very action packed. I like the broken glass and crashed Vulture Droid. The Hutts are a nice addition as well.

Ok. Ok. Ok. I'm not trying to do the moderators' job, but is roughly two pages of discussion of Palpatine's hair color really necessary? No offense, but little nitpicky things like that are why people think Star Wars fans are nerdy. I personally see them keeping it grey, it looks fine, and I don't think it is necessary to do a new run of the piece in tan or whatever color it would be. But can we please direct the converstion towards something else? I keep checking this thread for news, just to find more banter about Palpy's hair.

Thanks for the review. I'm loving all of these old set reviews lately.

Ain't that the truth! I doubt we will see another starfighter without flickfire missles from the Star Wars line. Forget starfighters, pretty much every set!
-
This was definately a great review! And a great set. It is one of my all time favorite Star Wars sets, and is such an improvement over the old one (I just read the review of it). I'm glad I bought it when I did. I like your pictures, they are very clear.

Thats great! I love it! Its a shame that Lego didn't continue the Harry Potter line, there are soo many sets that could still be made, Including this one. Nice work!

Whoa! That is really cool! I love how you kept most of the original pieces and just beefed it up! Great work!
