Thank you very much! I really appreciate it This is hilarious I like the little controversy caused She is not naked, it's a rebel flight suit! (no it isn't , only out off game the torso is) But it's not about her being (almost) naked. (Anyway she wouldn't jump inside with her dress on would she?) It's her courage and obscure beasts' judgement that convince the Mandalorian. I thought this would be most in character with them. So blame Lucasfilm Above all I'm almost thinking the Mandos make no fuzz about nudity. It's just a temporary state and in this case best suited (pun!) for the situation of having to dive in that pond. Oh oh, another sleeping dogs I didn't intend to wake up... To whomever censored my image: I don't think that helps. It makes it worse, in fact C'mon it's an orange plastic lego figure! It's just your fantasy where all comes to life

Anyway I did not mention Bo-Katan so it's just a (nameless) cameo and Auxi came handy since I wanted to bring this Togruta-minifig somewhere. She may not get more screentime, as this is just about paving the way for Yperio_Bricks's Mando story. Moreover I assumed a similar ice-spider could live anywhere. The hot pool of Maldo Kreis was just an inspiration. So no big deal I hope

It is said, that deep in the hot waters the Corewraiths dwell – mysterious and dangerous creatures, born in the planet’s core, spitting boiling water and worshiped by many, only surpassed in their legendary status by the mythical Mythosaurus’ of Mandalore. No Corewraith has haunted the sanctuary for a many years and for now, only nasty ice spiders would call the cavern with the sacred pool their home. Today, Mandalorians from all clans would gather here to hold a conclave. Not all of them are happy; as it’s the first time in centuries an offworlder would be allowed to enter their sanctuary… » All clear now! « » Mandalorians! Let’s welcome our guest in these sacred halls and listen what they have to offer! « » I am Senator Auxi Kray Korbin, Chief Advisor to recently elected Chancellor Mon Mothma. I am here as an ambassador of the New Republic. Both our people have suffered heavily under the stranglehold of the Empire. Although the Empire was shattered, its fragments remain sharp and dangerous. The New Republic offers you an alliance to avert this threat together, for once and for all! What do you say?!« » The Mandalore way is the way of strength. If you were strong, you would not come here and beg for help – you and your little Republic. I say, Mandalore has no need for weaklings. And no need for this blasphemy of having you setting foot here, in first place. « » I think, you misunderstood the Senator. She is offering a partnership. I have heard no word of begging from her mouth. « » Pfft. Partnership. Alliance. Other words for weakness. « » What if the Corewraiths deemed me worthy? Oh yes, I learned about your legends and I demand the Corewraiths’ trial! « » No offworlder has ever challenged the Corewraiths’ judgment! That’s outrageous! Blasphemy! « » She has all rights to do so. You know it is the way… « » Yes… It is the way. « » That’s five minutes deep in those hot water caves now. I admit she was brave but she failed. The Corewraiths have spoken. « » No wait, she’s resurfacing… « » Then, this is the way! « ****************** Hello and welcome to a contribution for @Yperio_Bricks 's Mando Mayhem story arc! [LS] The Old Jedi
Sentinel_Brix replied to AgentBrix's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Welcome to the game! -
Thank you all. Great you enjoyed this spooky episode Ah, me neither, actually. I read a few books at young age, like the Thrawn trilogy, Jedi Academy and the black fleet trilogy. I'm pulling some of the stuff I consider interesting or good from the legends continuum and bring it up here and there. We are anyway all creating our own unofficial "Mysteryverse" here, aren't we? The Empire Reborn I read about on wookieepedia but I do not intend to recreate the story. I borrow some of the content from Jedi Outcast and Academy video games though and also from new canon, here explicitly from The Bad Batch. Ah, so we will see some dark side horror soon? Looking forward to it!
-
Thanks for all the feedback here and in the other entries. Outcast is still one of the best video games in terms of Star Wars feeling so I wanted to give it some credit here. The 'barfight' on Nar Shaddaa is such an iconic scene. Thank you very much explicitly on this one. I started moccing around this time last year ago and I really enjoyed the journey so far and I learned a lot since then. I'm really happy I was invited to this game and community

Wow, looks great indeed Very delicate brickwork with all these small plates making up the walls and floor What I like here (but also on other players mocs in general) is that your style is kinda unique and recognizable. This one reminds me of your M4-24 Coruscant build. That was also a great one Very nice -

How can I lead an army of Dark Jedi, when they DIE AFTER A FEW DAYS?!? Not talking about the Jedi sniffing around… « » Argh [chokes] This is uncharted territory, master. I again used my light box, this time with a colored LED array to give the laboratory a mysterious green vibe from below through all the mesh. Here you can find the build under white light and different angles. You see, I have only two of them tanks, but that allowed anyway for better placing the minifigs in the middle. So I assumed, the lab is not at full capacity yet Quiz: To what movie and scene I bow to with the first part of the dialogues?

Thank you guys! (and welcome, @AgentBrix) I had to google what you mean. I didn't know this soylent green story. Here, recycled food could be more like, you know, recycled human organic waste. No humans inside though Luke eating awkward stuff is a little nod to the scene from E8 where he drinks that fresh walrus-beast milk on that kriffin' island As a Jedi, he's open minded, you know. Moreover he comes from Tatooine. I guess there everything got to be recycled... Busted! These are nearly all I got. But I wanted to try a little water effect too! It became a leaking water well at least

If you mean positive criticism, yes. I did not criticize anything on your build, only praised it And i did not mean the whole front, but really the cockpit hood (the window parts) only. You have built it very well according to the original. The hood is definitely not super streamlined on the original. The Y-Wing is like a humvee. Not streamlined, not looking 'fast' but robust. -
[MOC] - Rebel BTL-A4 Y-wing bomber V2 (~1/32 scale)
Sentinel_Brix replied to Max_Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I totally agree with Prof. Thaum. You nailed the look of the fighter very well. Especially the cockpit hood is often recreated too 'streamlined' in series or moc sets. You took a good look at the quite pragmatic, robust design of the Y-Wing that it has, in contrast to the X-Wing. The engines are solved well, without relying on dome shaped fronts. Good work with these angles! -

Get your recycled food! « » Um, we’re getting some food, it seems. « » Want some? It’s actually better than advertised. « » Er… no thank you. So you just follow where the current flows, I assume. « » The Force? Yes, the Force is with me. It will guide you if you learn to listen. « » Luke, erm… the Reborn called you the Last Jedi. Are you really the last one? « » To be honest, I don’t know. My old master told me so, but… I think there are more. Maybe none of them was promoted to be a Jedi-Knight, but they can wield the Force. I mean, look at you, Iya. « » My kin does not wield the White Current. It’s forbidden, in fact. That’s what got me here - ‘cause I … I’m different… « » You want to become a Jedi. « » Can you… can you teach me these powers? « » Hmm. I barely finished my own training. I don’t know if I’m ready. I mean, I will have to rebuild the Jedi order some day but - « » Why are you afraid? « » Hmm … Ask me again some time. « » Oh! Stormtroopers! What are they doing here? « » Taris is still contested. There are some hideouts the New republic did not get to yet. Let’s investigate. « » … and he said, that’s the best you can do with your life. You either run like a coward, or be part of something. « » So you undergo that treatment and then what? They hand you over one of these laserswords and you become something like an invincible demigod? « » Unlimited power, he said - if you stand the pain. But if they ask me, I take it. Better than hiding here, surrounded by junk. You should do the same. « » I dunno, pal. Sounds like some cultist gibberish. The Empire is going down to pieces, I say it. I’m not going to join. « » Do what you want. But if I run into a Jedi, I’d rather be equipped and powerful enough to fight him. « » Psst, Luke? You hear that? « » Yes, Iya. Cool fortress in microscale. The shape of the structures forming the imperial insignia is stunning. Seems like Velusia is prepared to resist. I like your story too, acknowledging differences between the warlords of the shattered Empire. Would love to see Commisar Rax and the mysterious K. Kaas meeting each other - in a holo or in persona. Maybe they will soon both serve a Crimson Emperor?
-
Exactly Thanks Maybe someday. I know you have a superb moc X-wing and that would be a role model hard to top. But I also like these representations of the A- and X-Wing from Lego very much. The X-Wing was a set I bought during a time I was not even back with Lego. I love the solution of how the wings unfold and the four intakes of the thrusters are better designed than on other series X-Wings. So I'm sentimental with it and hard to make good design better. And there is a plenty of micro scale mocs here still to be judged He's probably dead, first of all You mean Pellaeon would approve surrendering and Rax not?

I got some interferences on the rear sensors... « »We got a problem here! Inbound fighters at one-seven-decimal-two-eight! « »I see them. Interceptors! Blasted! They are much faster than us! « »They were using the solar wind to cover their approach! « »Hey! Usually it's us having the good ideas! « »We will not make it to the jump. They'll shoot us down! « »Argh. hypercomm is jammed! « »Karabast! They're hunting us! That's a Lancer frigate blocking the comms! « »... and two more Light Cruisers on the long range scanners - orbiting Velusia and spitting additional fighters. I ask myself, why aren't they engaging too... « »Hah, they consider a Lancer more than enough to handle us, I guess... « »Aurora Squadron, I should remind you that my ships primary weapon system is still offline... « »Captain... « »Adar Welton Yuro, my dear. « »Adar Yuro, keep the course. We hold them off as best as we can! Jump to Shawken and alert the Republic. We have a Fast Response Strike Fleet in orbit there! « »Of course, my dear! I will request assistance immediately. « »Aurora Squadron: S-foils in attack position. All power to the front deflectors. Let's show 'em who we are! « »Roger, big sis, Aurora three standing by! « »Roger, 'rora Leader! So this is it. The Last dance... « »Lancer ahead! Fly-by low and fast! Let's make them shoot through our formation onto the pursuing TIEs and then get out of reach of their turbolasers! The Lancer can't follow us around the moon. We just need to handle the TIEs! « »I'm hit, but not bad! Ar-Que, can you do something with that stabilizer? « »Woohoo, I got another one! « »Aurora Six? Good shooting, but watch out. The Lancer coming up on the horizon again! « »Karabast! I'm hit!!! Shield's down! I can't even - need to go down... « »Aurora Six?! Partt?! Blasted! C'mon, where are the reinforcements?... I know you aren't disappointing us, Adar Yuro... « A fleet deploys out of hyperspace... »Aurora Squadron! This is Captain Quffar of the New Republic Cruiser Tranquility, we are here to aide you! « »Not a moment too soon, Tranquility! We - argh - have trouble with the Lancer and possibly more enemy ships incoming. « »No worries, take cover in our formation. We'll do the rest. Standby ion control... fire! « With the arrival of the Republic the tide turns. The A-Wings and the CR90 corvettes handle the enemy fighters, while the Lancer gets disabled by the brand new MC25i Heavy Ion Artillery Cruiser. »Rebel ... I mean Republic forces! This is Captain Algin Taggart of the Imperial frigate Baygon. I declear my surrender and request protection under the New Republic Integrity Act for war prisoners. I... - wait, what do you mean traitor, I - arghhh -« »What was that?! Captain Taggart?! « »Seems like he's been cut off, Ma'am. « ********************************* Hello and thanks for reading the second issue of the Aurora Squadron. @Professor Thaum inspired me with his lovely little Arquitens Harvester and Bloodhound to work on some miniatures on my own. Here, I present you my creation, the Heavy Ion Artillery Cruiser MC25i. The MC25i is not that large but comes with a special mission profile: The Rebels suffered a stunning defeat on Hoth, but what still went well there, was the ion canon coverage for the escaping transports. The MC25i brings this advantage into space. With the integrated heavy ion canon, the cruiser represents a major threat, even to capital ships like Star Destroyers, disabling their shields and maneuverability swiftly. New Republic pilots nickname it the Tranquilizer, firstly because it puts other ships to sleep, secondly being a malapropism of the first ship built, the here shown Tranquility and thirdly because being on patrol with it can be tranquilizing, as it is quite slow. Its disadvantage is the high power consumption, leaving a vulnerability window, where some of the deflector energy level needs to be rerouted before firing. This has been addressed by strenghtening the hull armor, making the MC25i a quite sluggish cruiser. The roll-out of MC25i goes alongside with a new New Republic doctrine from the chancellors' bureau, to save lives and equipment, even on the enemies' side. The cruiser has been co-developed by Mon Calamari, Quarren and Corellian engineers. The former gave it a whale shark-like appearance, taking inspiration from their home world's rich aquatic fauna. The MC25i is a reminiscence to the much larger MC75 with the hanging bridge. I realized I need to add some other, well known ship for size reference, so that's why I came up with the Corellian Blockade Runner. The design is partially moc, partially I took some design reference from other moccers on the www. The TIE interceptor I built already some months ago, when I modified the 75300 TIE fighter. I'm happy I could use it here for some cool scenes. Last but not least, the X-Wings and the capital ships needed a villain ship to be disabled so I built the infamous Lancer frigate. I realized it's quite a bulky ship and maybe I got it a little bit too thick, but that's how it turned out

MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules
Sentinel_Brix replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
First of all I don't think you broke the rules with building in a square where other groups made points. I understood that if any party locks a square reaching 100P, then it takes 150P to take over, and so on. Rules are not the concern here. What made me start the discussion "out-of-character" of the parties we represent is that until now there has been kinda consensus that we collect points in different squares and yes, compete. I love to play the game and tried in the past to not only tell my stories - that include conflict and war ( it's Star Wars) - but to include you other handful of players in collaborative work on eye level and with respectful treatment. You can challenge that. And maybe I woke some demons here, Idk. Yperio and I lived up to the sudden challenge in L9. Gosh, we even stamped two great builds out of nothing in a couple of days, that should have sealed the deal for now. And there's still going to be more on a cool, unplanned collab with the DS around Velusia. But you know by now that I love to post my stories about the Raiders and maybe Jedi, but now I feel like I'm locked in a quarrel for L9. I wanted to build on Chandrila soon, so there will be more LS points to come but now I don't see when to get there with my story because of the tense situation there. I understand L9 is the most important square for many reasons, both in character as well as for gameplay, as it opens access to multiple hyperlanes. It's of strategic importance. I assure you, the LS will not give up the sector easily. But does the DS need it right now? We will only lose points there with mocs that we don't like to build or need to place there, in a desperate attempt to seize or keep control. And it will be no fun. So, long story short, I perceive the coordinated attack not being a friendly competition in this stage of the game but more like bullying. Right now, we - like 7 people more or less - should be worldbuilding and having fun, not spilling bad blood between us, no matter how "in character" these actions are. Sorry for the long post. -

Ok guys, hold on for a sec. What the actual kriff is going on? When did we switch from Mysteries to "Galactic Battlegrounds"? Collab is one thing but if you think we are going to recruit more players by "rude" and coordinated "attack" on peacefully claimed quadrants, you are... well... wrong. Alongside goes the mysterious ignoring by the administration of my confirmed 2x points for the M4-24 fighter. So again. What is going on?!? -
Thank you very much! The worn look comes with some original and some of my own custom stickers I think the color is called bright light orange and the other is dark red, btw. Had to google it. It's from the 6646 screaming patriot from 1991 At least once after 33 years these exhaust pipes came handy. Thanks for acknowledging!

Thanks! I realized for the rather dark environment of the bar I needed to enhance the lightsabers too. So there are a few effects from post-production. Usually I don't want to do it so much and like the pure Lego effects more, but here it turned out to be a cool thing. I will follow up on this soon A lot of storylines for me right now Would be great

Such a lovely and peaceful farm, wouldn't it be for the imperial remnant Seems like the increased level of alertness is paying of for the New Republic. Let's keep up the good work The build is excellent, as usual. The colorful leafs give a nice contrast to the white of the prefab house. The moisture farm equipment rounds up the whole build so nicely! The ground work is superb.
