  1. I need some Russian guards from the Indiana Jones series: And I have some Star Wars figures and weapons and some Castle figures and weapons in my Bricklink store. I'm open to trades as long as the Russians are in new or like new condition. If you don't have anything I need, feel free to browse my store. If you order, just let me know you come from Eurobricks and I'll get you tracking code for free. Thanks for looking ...
  2. Only moderators can do that for you :( I think it would be nice to have that feature available for all users. I don't really know the logical reason behind it. It must be time consuming for moderators to handle all the title change requests. I wouldn't like to bother them for a typo I make in the tittle ?? I dunno ...
  3. I loved those civilians! Windscreen is cool too (or funny?) Stop making me spend money TLG :(
  4. Oh you're all lazy moderators! How long will it take to get a tiny image !? Just kidding ;) It does get pixellated at 200 pixels wide, there isn't much you can do. But if you don't like it, I'll make another. How about this, does it fit in your quality standarts :D
  5. Hi Bonaparte, I already photoshopped this from the banner above, so if it's going to be too much trouble just ignore this topic. I already have what I need. Thanks !
  6. 8259 Mini Bulldozer Theme: Technic Released: 2009 Price: 10 USD / 7.85 GBP / 10 EUR Pieces: 165 Introduction: We get at least a couple of mini Technic sets each year. Normally these sets are quite expensive when it comes to price/part ratio so I normally stay away from them. This little one here was shining so bright and I had to order one! We have three booklets for instructions, two for the main model and one for the alternate model: We're not getting many alternate model instructions any more. While it's good to have these in hand, I'd prefer to download them for the sake of mother nature. Parts come in three polybags, there are no loose parts in the box: No numbered bags, but for such a tiny model there is no need for it. The tread/link poly looks yummy! All the inventory is here except for the 53 treads/links: Each tread/link is 3 stud wide and when connected they are one stud long. Extra parts for the main model, no stickers: That one extra tread/link makes me happy, yeah I'm so cheap! Building in progress: Main model is complete: I think it's the cutest set TLG has ever produced. I could eat with some ketchup. You can lower or rise the front with the help of a worm gear: You just need to turn a bush on the back. Here's the alternate model: It's just as interesting as the main one. The handler functions if you turn the yellow axle connector: Top side can rotate 360 degrees just like the real ones: Top part is connected to the tread/link section with a pin. You get plenty of extra parts if you choose to build the alternate model: Folder when public: Brickshelf Rating: -Parts: 9/10 We 53 Technic treads/links and for such a small sized set it can't get any better. But the lack of liftarms may be disturbing for some. -Price: 10/10 Again, those treads/links are expensive parts. I'm more than happyo to get them 53 of them at 10 Dollars. -Design: 10/10 Seriously, this is the only small Technic set which made want to buy. Does it get any cuter ?? -Building: 8/10 The alternate model has two functions while the main one has one. I think that's quite acceptable. -Total: 37/40 If you haven't ordered one already, it means you haven't seen it yet. Conclusion: If you like construction vehicles, you're very likely to get two of this set since it offers two very interesting models. Right next to their bigger brothers, these little devils will be great on displays. Apart from the cuty factor, I'm sure many people will want this set just for the treads/links since they have been rather rare so far. It's nice to get a handful of them for such a small price. So it's obvious that 8259 will strike many people from different angles. I say we have a winner here, two thumbs up ! 7. Unfortunately I don't collect Town/City sets except for some odd models I find interesting. So I have a very limited range of torsos and all of them are very modern. Neverthless, this contest has inspired me to build a MOC so I'm glad it made it on the frontpage. I'm wishing luck to all contestents and thanks for the challenges you create for us :D
  8. I wish I had seen this contest before, I already know what I'd be building. But I'm missing the basic torsos and there is no way I'll receive them before May 13th :(
  9. Can somebody give me a link for the Eurobricks logo? I'm adding links to my web site and it would be cooler to have logos beside them .. Image width should 200 pixels at least. And I could only find this but it's too small: Thanks ..
  10. Very funny scene indeed, I loved it ! Cheering crowd cracks me up
  11. I think all those female/female and male/male bricks/plates are for amateurs. I have always found a way to place my parts without the need of those "cheat parts" Just use your mind It will damage kids' creativity if they produce those ..
  12. No problem at all, it's all yours :) Thanks a lot for the nice comments!
  13. Here I am with a military creation .. It's called "Hafif Zırhlı Muharebe Aracı" which practically means light assault vehicle in English. I had some trouble taking pictures and I think the model looks better in real life. My photographing skills unfortunately aren't that good. But I hope you like it! You can view more images from these links below: Brickshelf Folder: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=379239 (when public) Flickr Photostream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/legoadam/ My Web Site: http://legoadam.turklug.com/gorsel/009/009.html
  14. Here's my Scorpion Knight squad: I normally don't buy figures to create armies and I still regret investing in these warriors.
  15. Hi ISC, thank you for the kind words. The SNOT road doesn't bend the baseplate, it fits perfectly. But there is a gap between the base and the road. I could have replaced the tiles beneath the road with plates and it would stand fine. But it looked ugly that way, so I left it this way. Here's the recipé for the road: 1 darkbley plate + 1 white plate + 2 darkbley plates + 5 darkbley bricks + 2 darkbley/yellow plates + 5 darkbley bricks + 2 darkbley plates + 1 white plate + 1 darkbley plate And you fix them with these on two sides: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30414 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32000 It turns into a 16 stud wide road (plus one stud fixing bricks on each side, 18 studs total)
  16. Thank you for the nice comments! Yes I have used these: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4733 They are tank blocks :) hence the "Roadblock" title http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czech_hedgehog
  17. Here I am with another MOC. It's a small roadblock in a post-apocalyptic world. Military tries to repair an old radio tower after an attack from the rebels. I started this MOC with the intention of creating a big (I used 6 16x32 baseplates) battle scene. I wanted to build a blown up oil tanker and a deserted diner on the side. But the cost was big too so I turned it into a smaller vignette. I'll try the original idea some other time, when I have the cash. There are more images here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/legoadam/ http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=375663 (when public)
  18. Two thumbs up :)
  19. Yay ! But I don't think I can afford the dropship :) I wish it had some new figures, then I could sell them to pay for the set.. Thanks a lot who tried to help me with my Technic brick.
  20. Exactly Kim, that's what I meant. I pondered and wondered that for a long time :) I decided to ask here when a friend wondered the same thing. I hope it fits with the new droship. It would be really cool. And it's also great that TLG knows what they'll be prodcuing a year later..
  21. .. I can see that we have nothing to trade but I will never ship something to that country sounds like discrimination. It would be better to carefully word your phrases. Shipping a small evenlope is like 3-4 USD. I have been buying all over the world for years and yes it's not like domestic shipping. But not that terrible. Besides shipping price would be in the trade anyways .. uh never mind why am I even talking ..
  22. And why would that be ?
  23. Do you have a Harley Quinn (new)? I have some assasin droids and some other stuff for trade. You may see my inventory in my Bricklink store: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=legoadam
  24. Thank you that was what I guessed :) But I didn't see any detailed pictures of 10195, do we have the instructins or something now? Is that how dropship lifts the walker ?
  25. Sorry for reanimating this topic. There is a Technic brick in the mid section of this set. Does anyone know the function of that ??
