Make a wanted list* on Bricklink with Brickstore** and that will ease things for you. * http://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?topicID=4 ** http://www.brickforge.de/software/brickstore/ I wouldn't recommend Lego PAB, it takes days to fill your order, they put all the parts in only one bag and let it loose in a big box. They get cracked, lost or scratched at the best.

I loved the colored tanks, I'll use that some time if you don't mind :) BTW how about a Deck 13? http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=25097

Sorry but this is not even remotely true. Turkish architecture has been very different from Arabic architecture even from the very beginning of Oguz (Kayi Turks) migrations. Selcuks, beyliks and the Ottomans had their unique style of building. When the Turkish style was settled in the 13th, 14th centuries, Turks had just conquered the Arab lands so there was very little inspiration between styles. You can say Turks have been influenced by Persians / Mogols, that would be true because we have always been in very close contact. But Turks were not influenced by Arabs. It was the Mamluks (Kipcak Turks) who build most of the architecture in Arab lands. That's because Arabian settled life was long gone after the Muhammed and caliphs, Abbasis & Emevis. They were practically nomads when the Turks came. Settled life came back when Turks started offering military service to them. But most importantly, Morocco was never ruled by any Turkish power so it would be a very big historical mistake to think that anything Moroccon would be involved in Istanbul, they have absolutely no relation or whatsoever. Anyways don't get me started .. You could buy some Arabian tourism guide and compare Turkish buidlings with them (not that there are many left, they are destroying anything Turkish in the Arab lands) Western orientalism and ignorance ('Im sorry to use that word, I couldn't find a politicaly correct one) is an upsetting thing. Turks and Arabs are different just like Slavs and Franks are different. Not all Europeens are the same and not all Muslims are the same. Islamic building certainly have similar elements but they are different. Hindus, Arabs, Turks, Persians etc had their own, unique architecture. Uh ..

I always align my parts unless it's a special technique or the MOC requires it the other way. I'm quite obsessed with that. I have to align Technic pins too :(
-
Lovely MOC but it doesn't have much to do with İstanbul, this looks Arabic :)

There are quite a lot of details for a model this size, very well done Lars ! I always wanted to build the APC but since you've done the ultimate model, I don't need to be bothered :D

The Brick Testament - Armageddon
cagri replied to Brendan Powell Smith's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Lol Sandy, I don't think I'd want to get involved with the higher powers. -
Same here, it's a festival all day long! We use every excuse to celebrate, we have 3 national days But Swedes seem to be more interested in the football games Happy national day !! (I like the tile built cloth btw)

The Brick Testament - Armageddon

Great scenes but a little too violent for my taste :) -
I wouldn't expect something bigger than the advent calendar, I don't expect a "regular" set either. Maybe something like the new christmas special, but nothing bigger. I say it will be figure oriented. I don't have any source for these guesses though, it's just my idea. We may even get a UCS :) I dunno ...

We only got 3 sets this year, plus 10193. So I'm sure they will release the jubilee set.

Technic sets from 2009
cagri replied to legomilk's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks! I was hoping 8265 would be cheaper but still it would be worth 90 USD. There is no way I'm getting myself a 8258 though :( -
