  1. I'm wondering what happened to Swashbuckler. That thing was awesome. WBD, Rumble, I expect a Ve'er Quest that gives that out, Hlin was one of my favorite NPCs and that was such a cool class idea. (One thing I might add to it is a way to obtain the *Hilariously Drunk* effect that doubles Power if you make a pun when you post your action, but that's just me. Perhaps whenever you use a consumable that effect is automatically added as well?) I don't remember why exactly that class was denied, .i thought it looked good enough to post as player-available.
  2. I used to use Brickshelf before going to Imageshack and I don't remember it being that bad. (Aside form the relatively frequent crashes, of course. )
  3. I like to think that what's going in in Day 3 is pretty in/out of character separated. I've seen assaults on logic and actions, but not on the players themselves like in HSatPB. Arguing is sort of the nature of the beast, and .i hope it's clear from out of CAT that I have nothing but respect for the players that I'm verbally assaulting in thread - In fact, I admire them whether they're scum OR town for sticking to their guns and not giving up despite players like me who can be very in your face during these kinds of games. I just feel like a jovial accusation with a wink and a laugh doesn't inspire action or response as much as relentlessly pushing at people. But perhaps you're right, and we should all try to add s to our posts more often. Thanks for letting us know how you feel, though. I think that even if Mafia can be stressful it can also be great fun and nobody should feel like they're being personally attacked. As such, I would like to formally extend an apology to anyone (Flare, Pyro, Scuba, Duvors, etc) who feels like I have insulted them as a person and not that Kharybdis has assaulted their character.
  4. Well, since we don't have any evidence either way it's pretty much your word against hers,
  5. Heh, I guess you could say that. I like to think it was 'practical', but Doc's hardly a bad guy to emulate.
  6. Eh, seeing as it doesn't actually grant stat bonuses I valued it between trash and 10 GP, so I was pretty happy with 20.
  7. Arasmyth hands Benji the mask.
  8. Arasmyth noticed a scruffy fellow wearing what appeared to be a reptile's skin enter the hall and put up a parchment containing a list of items he wanted to sell. He eyed the hand cannon, but it appeared to be in negotiations for sale with another already - besides, he only had two gold at the moment. However, he did have some items he didn't particularly need, amd perhaps this entrepreneurial fellow wished to buy as well as sell. Hey, you with the scaly garments. You seem like your in the business of artefact and weapon dealing, care to buy this Trickster's Mask of the Gender Swap for 20 gold? Of course, if anybody else wanted it, I'd be willing to auction. But really, it's mostly a novelty piece with a couple practical applications.
  9. Problem being that passing the glass to Skrupp did not take an action and you weren't shown using the glass in the conclusion like Maxi was, leaving you a liar who had the means and the opportunity to make the Light attack on Calico. Also, Skrupp dying when it was your turn to be investigated automatically casts doubt on you. *in the conclusion of Day 1 like Maxi was in the conclusion of Day 2
  10. Guts This bald headed badass is slightly past his prime. Additional Health: -3 for arthritis Weapons: Knives and daggers. It's not size, it's how you use them. Job Traits: Doorkicking - Guts can kick through any door, so long as he is not wearing Dancing Shoes. Alcoholism: Guts gets a plus 3 to Chutzpah every time he roleplays drinking. Age, Wisdom, and Experience: Guts doesn't know how to use these new-fangled Ji Pei 'compoopers', but he cold tell you stories about how back in his day he had to hike through 47 miles of snow uphill both ways to the store so he could buy half a loaf of bread to feed his family. Battle Style: "Badass" - Guts thinks he's still got it, allowing him to do things that should b any logic have pulled his back by now. Those 44 year olds, trying to kick down doors at their age. Real adventurers are preteens.
  11. Bah, I haven't even gotten the chance to Quest yet and there's already a unique item I want to buy. How much for it, Flare? (Surely you won't let bias from me picking on you in CAT affect your decision? )
  12. I think I've contributed more than my fair share, too. I'll be we'll over 1000 posts by the time this is through.
  13. Common Sense (n): sound practical judgment independent of specialized knowledge or training; normal native intelligence. Common Sensical (adj): based on plain ordinary good judgment; sound practical sense It is impossible by definition for common sense to be biased or personal. Only the last of those three involves lying, and I fail to see how it'd be useless since the plan (which I came up with and would've worked if it weren't for Retak and his meddling scumbuddies) was derailed.
  14. We don't know that those roles exist (I doubt Godfather because passive roles seem to be nonexistent), but it's easy to see how that could've worked in any number of ways,
  15. Godfather Tailor Maxi is scum
  16. N, we also have accused him of being scum repeatedly and we tried to kill him this morning. But he was already Flying too high for us to take him out.
  17. Wether makes a good point. Calico, Brienne, and I, (and Scamander, but that's besides the point) have made up over 25% of all posts discussion in the whole forum Eubric, not just Heroica Hall, where our discussion is obviously a stupid high percent. With that sheer amount of talking there should be some majorly damning logical inconsistencies and scum tells coming from all three of us, not just some conspiracy theories.
  18. That's another thing. Cromeo has been purposefully kept only partially in-the-loop (sorry darling ) on the off chance that him Encouraging me D1 was buddying. Putting him on that list but not Theodor, Swinehurst, Werther, and the other supporters if out town core is stupid, and likely you trying to get as many Townies killed based in this half-thought out scum ploy as possible.
  19. I was just glancing through Beast Warrior's Job Traits and I noticed that you could assume Beast Form outside of comba as an actual play mechanic. That's wicked, can't wit to see how Benji uses it not just for roleplaying but also for game-breaking shenanigans. I really like how you've played BW!Benji, he feels very 'real' in the sense that if people had a hard-to-control ability to turn into a reptile that is exactly how I'd imagine they'd feel.
  20. Where on Earth did you get that kind of idea? Since when has sacrificing players been a viable scum move on Day 2? We attacked Piro based on the red flags he raised for us, we didn't even know he was associated with Etzel until he came in and told us. S the only person Ezeal dagged down was himself, Piro was going down anyway.
  21. Oh no, Brienne (a Town leader) is Covering Calico (a Town leader with a very low HP). How scummy. Calico stole from yo because she didn't want to hit someone. So if we attack, we're genocidal warmongerers and if we don't we're sneaky douchebags. Catch 22 for us, from your perspective. Of course, that makes sense, since as a Nephilim it's your job to make us look bad. As for being in league with Etzel... What? We're the ones who incited the attacks on him in the first place, and we also said tha we should keep the attacks on him even when we realized that all 4 of you couldn't be scum. We said things like This, emphasis mine. Also, why the heck would Ezeal object to us thinking you two were scummies than him? He was trying to save his own hide, he wouldn't have come in and said 'No, I'm scummier than Pyro and Flare.' This kind of forced bad logic is part of what makes us believe you're scum.
  22. Why should we open up our strategies publicly before we implement them? Considering that we're allowed to change actions, there is no benefit in giving the scum warning as to what we're going to do before we do it. (Unless you mean communication between ourselves, in which case there really isn't an issue - Brienne, Calico, myself, and recently Swinehurst typically discuss most of what we do before we do it.)
  23. I'll admit that it could've been a .cleric, .i was thinking offensive magic = Mage. You're right. However, we didn't know you'd be confused, and forgive me if .i find it hard to take anybody at their word right now. I don't understand that question, though. We thought you'd be protecting yourself, not someone we wanted dead. And Confusion seems incredibly convenient.
  24. But protecting half the hall is just as detrimental to us as it is to them, since it prevents us from acting on our suspicions. Really, Legion and Swinehurst are the only ones we can all agree should be protected on a regular basis, since apparently Calico, Brienne, and I have fallen out of favor as town leaders. That doesn't make protecting lurkers a good strategy, though.
  25. I concluded that if Correllon were Heroican, she'd likely have protected herself, not a lurker who has contributed little or nothing to the scum hunt,
